Basically Kiss From A Rose + K-Row's Dirty Laundry... except no one cares for Jessie J's flop struggles.

It has a non event chorus and the video is cringe as. The lyrics are too, she always seems to want to play some sort of victim but she's not likeable enough for people to take her side in anything.
I don't like it but at least she isn't wailing all the way through it. |

"Think About That" hasn't even entered the sales-only top 100. Quite shocking - I don't think I expected her 'comeback' to flop this hard.
In other news, she's announced a tour (of sorts) and has sold out the first three dates: 8 Oct: Birmingham Institute 9 Oct: Manchester Albert Hall 11 Oct: London KOKO 12 Oct: London Shepherds Bush Empire 14 Oct: Cologne Live Music Hall |

I'm not just saying this because it's flopped, but this feels like more of a side project?
I feel like she would've had more promotion and more publicity if this was a real comeback. Reminds me more of Miley's 'Dead Petz' era. This post has been edited by Jack: Sep 22 2017, 11:16 PM |

Glad she's moving on quickly. I do hope for her own sake she can get at least a medium-sized hit out of this campaign.

She's now released Real Deal, Think About That, Not My Ex and Queen (Currently #7 on iTunes... in Uganda) - none have made impact.
What are the chances of this album being released on Island? |

It's an EP, not a full album.
As previously said, I'm pretty sure this is just a side project and not her proper 'comeback'. |

The last press release I got sent said “Today, Jessie J releases her powerful anthem and new single “Queen” from her upcoming fourth full-length album, R.O.S.E.—arriving in 2018” |

Oh, maybe not then!
If it is her proper comeback, this surely has to be one of the biggest flops in a long time?! |

I’m not surprised everything is flopping, WHERE ARE THE HOOKS?! All four of the songs released so far are absolutely dreadful, so boring and completely forgettable. Like, I get that her previous music had more than it’s fair share of haters, but at least it was full of hooks...

I’m mad at her and her team for letting ‘Queen’ flop it’s actually a bop .
She peformed it on TV a few weeks ago and it apparently went top 50 on iTunes after one peformance . It could easily do well with promo and a bit of a push from her and her label This post has been edited by troylovesmusic: Dec 29 2017, 06:21 PM |

Are any of these songs actual proper single releases or are they just buzz/promo singles, given the fact that none of them even made a dent in the charts or had any airplay etc, just seems strange that she's bringing these out so quickly with no budget music videos and non commercial appeal. I don't think hardly anyone knew that these even existed and if they're supposed to create hype for her new album, then it's failed miserably and she needs to go back to the drawing board and come out with something far better, especially given the fact that she's been away for so long and these days that's not a good thing.
To be honest I think her best days are behind her, she hasn't quite lived up to the success of her first album which sold over a million copies in the UK, and the 2 follow ups haven't sold half as much and neither had the run of hits her debut had. I actually enjoyed her first album and it's singles 'Price Tag', 'Nobody's Perfect', 'Domino', 'Who's Laughing Now' (but couldn't stand that one she did with David Guetta Laser something, just bland and generic). On the whole it was a really good debut and showed such promise that she'd have a long and lasting career ahead of her. It was around the time of her 2nd album, which was where I felt things started to go a bit wrong for her, while I did like the lead single 'Wild', it just kinda came and went without much of anything, and while the album itself did have some decent tunes, it just felt a bit generic and bland on the whole and didn't compare to her first in any way. 'It's My Party' felt like a cheap clone of 'Domino' and shouldn't have been the 2nd single, 'Sexy Lady' would have been a miles better choice or at least been released later on. 'Thunder' was also pretty good also and 'Excuse My Rude' was another standout and should have been a single as well. 'Sweet Talker' was even worse and felt rushed, all because of the massive hit 'Bang, Bang' and that only had hype because of the big names involved, without them I doubt it would have took off the way it did and it will probably be her last major hit. There was just too much filler on here and I don't know why they didn't just go with the original plan and re-release 'Alive' with some bonus tracks including 'Bang, Bang' and about 8 other songs from this, because you could easily scrap the other half of this album and just show the better moments. Plus look at what happened to the follow up singles from this 'Burnin' Up' & 'Masterpiece', they both bombed on the UK charts (although the latter did have success in Europe), and this just felt like to me that this album was created around the lead single and the record label didn't care about any of the other songs, kinda pointless if you ask me. Unless she manages to pull off some miracle and bring out something brilliant, I can't see any chance for 'R.O.S.E.' being successful, if what's been brought out so far is anything to go by. I can see her relegating these to buzz releases status and try again with yet another song just before the album's released next year. |
