Good news, it needs to get higher on itunes than 34 if it is in with a shot of top 40 sunday sad.gif

Totally prefer this to Leona's which is ok but a tad average. Nice to see more original christmas songs though biggrin.gif

Yes. Up to #28 on iTunes and i'm sure it's going to be climbing at least a couple of places a day from now until Christmas Eve-ish. SO happy it's looking likely to go top 40!

I'm glad too!

If I had my way I'd swap it around with 'One More Sleep', but I do like both. happy.gif

#21! Get that Top 20, Kelly. It's a pity that this surge is a bit too late for her to get a Top 20 peak officially. Top 30 at best.

Hopefully she'll be in a good position for Sunday-Tuesday to keep her top 40 officially for a second week, but I very much doubt it (and won't be holding my breath). But I'm ecstatic she's looking for at least one week <3 All with just airplay! Imagine what promo could have done. sad.gif

I think she might JUST sneak two weeks out of it, people buy Christmas songs right up until the actual day, so if she's in a good position in the first half of the week she could easily manage a second week (very) low top 40. I imagine something like 30 this week and 39 next week.

Either way, YAY. And also yay at the BEEB using Winter Dream on one of their Christmas ads.

Imagine how much higher she could've got with an x factor performance. I would predict that both Kelly and Leonas tracks would be top 10 at best sad.gif

At least 1 week top 40 is more of less confirmed now biggrin.gif better late than never I guess.

36 in Friday's midweeks biggrin.gif will peak higher than Dark side & I do not hook up and maybe trouble too biggrin.gif

Next year they should re-release the album, and get an X Factor performance in the bag. Pity Kelly wasn't feeling well enough to promote

Or she could push one of the other originals (she only seems to be performing UTT and 'Wrapped In Red' in her US promos!). Would LOVE to see a 'Winter Dreams' performance/release, especially if it's used for one of those supermarket adverts <3 (The BBC ad doesn't seem to be doing too much for it unfortunately sad.gif) UTT deserves to become a staple Christmas hit though, so I wouldn't mind it getting a couple of big performances next year to push it towards being a bigger hit.

This is definitely one of the better 'modern' christmas songs, glad to see it doing better and better as time goes on.

This is becoming one of my favourite modern Xmas songs! It's one of the few modern ones that's properly upbeat which helps it stand out well. I think a lot shy away from that sound cause 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is just so iconic that no one wants to be lost in it's shadow. Almost guaranteed to repeak this year and possibly top 10 thanks to playlists favouring it!
