Which flavour popcorn do you tend to go for when visiting a cinema? One of the most bizarre things (and getting more and more popular!) is having both the main flavours, mixed! Usually I tend to go for toffee, but nowadays I'd opt for SWEET. <3 SO GOOD. You can't beat a good bit of proper and fresh popcorn nowadays! |

Sweet and Salted mixed easily for me Been getting it for over a year like that now from Vue (even though it is so so overpriced, I can't resist buying it!). I used to always get toffee popcorn but now I always get mixed, so nice

Cineworld Nachos with cheese dip > popcorn so I never get the latter in cinemas ever, not a massive fan either really but think I prefer salted,

The swwet and salt one is pretty amaze tbh.
I normally only eat salted, since all the other ones has WAY too much sugar and nobody wants a diabetic going into a coma in the cinema. |

Salted >>>>
My very favourites tend to be Sensations popcorn though. They do an incredible Cinnamon and Salt one and Indian Spiced one too. |

SWEET. If I'm choosing between the main two in the cinema.
I've usually been taking my own mini bag of toffee popcorn to the cinema but grown a bit tired of it recently. (And @ Josh, hot dog with fried onions >>> nachos ) |

Sweet easily. Salted literally dries your mouthed up and even the massive drink you can get can't clear it! I don't really eat it much though, I always got the Nachos with cheese sauce when I went to the cinema, but nowadays I just think it's too expensive to bother with food!

Is butter popcorn not really a thing in the UK? Growing up, the only option in most Irish cinemas was whether or not you wanted hot liquid butter poured all over your tub of popcorn. (lol sounds so nasty but omfg)
Anyway, popcorn is an absolute must for me when I go see a movie, to the point that I justify paying ridiculous amounts for it every time by the fact that I don't go to the cinema very often (but actually I'm going this evening, yay ). It'd feel like such a waste to get nachos or something instead when there's popcorn to be had. <3 Never been a big fan of sweet and would always go for salted if that was the choice, but I recently got a mix for the first time and was pretty impressed. Haven't tried the toffee variety in years and the thought of it does nothing for me. I'd be really interested to try alternative (savoury) flavours though, like the ones John mentioned. |
