So this was Umbrella season back in '07? Still feel that was a pretty deserving #1 for all those weeks. Although back then even after that success I wouldnt've predicted Rihanna to've gone on and done everything that she's done since, and still be going strong and have the image she has nowadays.
Fergie either for that matter. Love her or hate her, props to her for making sexy music videos in her 40s. That 2012 top 5 is the definition of mixed fortunes since: 1- SPECTRUM (SAY MY NAME)- Florence + The Machine (64,816) along with Calvin, gone from strength to strength since 2- PAYPHONE- Maroon 5 Ft Wiz Khalifa (63,349) the start of a surprise continued commercial resurgence 3- THIS IS LOVE- Will.i.am Ft Eva Simons (50,052) probably middling. the start of his marmite era and random UK solo success 4- DON’T WAKE ME UP- Chris Brown (48,600) I don't even know how people feel about him any more 5- BLACK HEART- Stooshe (44,900) the less said the better |
