 I don't think it sounds like that obvious a qualifier (though I'd defy any of you to not have it in your heads after a few listens)! I'd just be happy to get to the final again, particularly after last month.

Indie trio of Django Django, Osca and Amber Run surpassing expectations by qualifying in SF2! I wonder if DIIV would have fared better if they were drawn into semi 2 as well. We shall never know.
'5AM' is the most surprised I've been by a qualifier since... maybe 'Lions, Tigers, Bears' which was in a similar boat. I kind of get that it fills a niche but I really didn't expect it to appeal much even to that niche! That might just be because I'm not personally MASSIVELY keen on it though it is growing a bit. |
