I still love In Your Eyes and think it’s aged quite well. Certainly wouldn’t have come to mind at all when thinking of tracks that have aged badly...

During, its release, i thought In Your Eyes was wonderful, it was a great single and when i first heard the Fever album, it was one of the standout songs.
I also enjoyed the track for a few years after its time, but in the last few years i have lost the love i had for the song as i feel it is very of its time.

I think the futuristic and slinky sound of Fever kind of made it stand head and shoulders above a lot of the manufactured pop that was around in 2001, obviously you don't get that sort of production these days but I feel like it's held up well to this day.

At the time it was futuristic and ahead of its time but it wasn't a sound that lasted for a long period.
Back in 2001 the sound was fresh and very relevant to the market at that time and the production was extremely slick.
Fever remains a great album to which i enjoy, i want to clarify that incase my points indicate otherwise.

I get your points on in your eyes, it's my least fave of the fever singles and it's a song that belongs in a time.

Confide in Me by a mile. Absolute BOP!

Now Confide In Me v Call Me The Wild Rose (Even Though My Name's Not Rose) would be a harder choice.

Love where the wild Rose's grow myself but in a head to head with confide in me it would sadly lose the vote by a long shot here in the forum.

I would easily prefer Where The Wild Roses Grow to Confide In Me.
I would also place the song above Put Yourself in My Place.
Where The Wild Roses Grow is such an important single.
A game changer like Spinning Around and Cant Get You Out Of My Head, but, in an extremely different way.

'Confide in Me' takes it for me but 'Put Yourself in My Place' remains one of Kylie's best ballads. Such a warm, gentle melody and a beautiful, powerful vocal. I loved that Kylie ressurected it for the Golden underplay shows and I had hoped it would have made an appearance on the concert tour.

These are my 2 fave Kylie songs of all time, but Confide In Me just edges ahead.
