I'm rewatching the first season just now.

Every time I watch Elspeth I love her a little more. This character is probably the best guest star on any show right now. Carrie Preston plays her to absolute perfection

This is still my absolute favourite show at the moment. Every single person is fantastic in it and the writing is razor sharp. From the preview, this week's episode looks like an absolute blinder.

Renewed for Season 4!
Hard show to comment on, very much watch in the moment and forget about it. This season has been balanced well, I just hope they get rid of Maya for Season 4.

It's fantastic but I am disappointed with the Blum character, as well as the animated shorts.

I understand what they're going for with both, but they don't quite work. I enjoy the writers' nuance and satirical take on American politics, but there is absolutely no subtlety with characters like Blum. It's overbearing.

I still love this show, I prefer it over TGW. I love how it has changed with the changes in politics, it reflects the messed up system in America so well. Was totally shocked at the last episode with Maya though, wondering where her character can go now...

I do actually think it improves on The Good Wife, especially the last season. Really interested to see where they go with it.

I think it improves on TGW too, but really it's almost a totally different show to TGW. It's so much more politics based while The Good Wife was more focused on court room and law firm drama. I love both shows and am so glad I got to watch all of TGW on Netflix before they removed it, but TGF is in another league. cheer.gif

Blum pretty much ruined this season. He's too annoying. I wouldn't mind him so much had he less airtime, but they've made him central to the plot.

So at the end of episode 2, they added a video of the cast and crew explaining why episode 3 had to be delayed for a week. Basically, hundreds of people in the industry are now working hard from home so that we can stay entertained. I found that very moving.

There’s no thread for The Good Wife but I’ve started watching it after missing Julianna Margulies in ER laugh.gif An amazing actor. I’m two episodes in and loving the show so far

God this show is so good. Latex Christine Baranski. *.*
Getting rid of Maya's character was an excellent choice. Hugh Dancy is a fantastic addition as well.

Only 7 episodes this season, disappointing! This season has been stellar. I hope we get another season.

I haven't watched Season 4 yet, but I had no idea that Rose Leslie had left! And now I've just read that Cush Jumbo has also left, although if scheduling allows she may wrap up her story some point in Season 5. Which is a shame, as Luca was my favourite character. Maia... I never felt like her character "clicked" even though I thought Rose played her really well.

EDIT: Season 4 was only short because they couldn't finish filming it ^^^
