BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ Predict: LuvBug - Revive (Say Something)

Posted by: ThePensmith 2nd January 2015, 01:35 PM

LuvBug - alias of the new dance outfit formed by Marvin Humes (formerly of JLS, of course) - are back with a new single, out 25th January. Follow up to last year's top 20 hit 'Resonance', this track features the vocals of Joel Compass, who himself had his first top 40 hit with 'Forgive Me' last year.

This is already in the top 10 of Shazam's most pinged tracks, so the question is will it give them a top 10 on the official chart? It's a strong track, very evocative of that old-school UK garage sound. I'd imagine with Marvin back hosting 'The Voice' as well it will drive sales up a bit for this.

fairly certain this'll do better than Resonance, a #6/7 peak maybe? (since Capital fm will be right behind it)

Think this will go Top 10 - Around 8 or 9, Their debut single was Top 10 in the first couple of midweek updates and this will as mentioned above get hammered by Capitial.

Top 20 again. Might actually spend longer than a week top 40 though this one.

I think top 10, around #7 or #8.

It's better than their last one.

If "Wish You Were Mine" could reach #2 (and looking to actual hold firm that position for a second week), there's no reason this shouldn't hit the T10. Great sounding track, something nice and uplifting to perk up the January charts.

I reckon it'll chart in the 4 - 7 region depending on its streaming deficit. biggrin.gif

Probably around #10. Would have done better with Radio 1 airplay but clearly they won't be supporting it.
