One of the key examples of Madonna revamping an old classic into something fresh was her performance of 'Like a Virgin' on the Confessions Tour. I find that Stuart Price's midas touch makes you to forget the song's novelty connotations for a while and allows the song to hold its own against the then-current songs from the album. I enjoy the mechanical saddle routine, especially for its nod to her recent horse riding accident.

Here we go!
'Ray of Light' for me. This is one of the better post-era performances for me, but nothing has a patch on the original production and vocal.
Lucky star
As much as I really don't want to, I've gone for Ray of Light. The others are 10/10 while this is ~9.5/10 :')
