Biography

All Time Low is an American rock band from Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, formed in 2003. The band currently consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist and backing vocalist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson. The band's name is taken from lyrics in the song "Head on Collision" by New Found Glory. The band consistently tours year-long, has headlined numerous tours, and has appeared at music festivals including Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds and Soundwave.

Beginning as a high school band, the band released their debut EP The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End EP in 2004 through local label Emerald Moon. Since then the band has released six studio albums: The Party Scene (2005), So Wrong, It's Right (2007), Nothing Personal (2009), Dirty Work (2011), Don't Panic (2012) and Future Hearts (2015). All Time Low released their first live album, Straight to DVD, in 2010, and released their second live album, Straight to DVD II: Past, Present and Future Hearts, on September 9, 2016. On February 17, 2017, the band announced a new single entitled "Dirty Laundry" on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show - their first single since their move from Hopeless Records to Fueled by Ramen.

Biography

Young British pop singer/songwriter James TW landed a deal with Island Records after being discovered on YouTube by Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes. The Warwickshire native began his career as a drummer, filling in with his father's wedding band at the age of ten. By the time he was in his early teens, he'd added guitar and piano to his résumé, and he began uploading cover songs to YouTube and playing acoustic gigs in local pubs. He cites John Mayer and Ed Sheeran as influences, and his soulful delivery falls into a similar pop singer/songwriter style. After signing with Island in 2015, James delivered his debut EP, First Impressions, the following year. - iTunes

Hey guys! Hoping Lana Del Rey and Martin Jensen make the top 40. Also fingers crossed that The Chainsmokers & Coldplay miss the top 40 - for the novelty of having top ten new entries for 5 consecutive weeks.

Would be really nice to see Take That scrape the top 10 as a result of missing physicals coming out of nowhere, but I doubt it.

Really good to see it looking like another fresh chart this week regardless though, the turnover of new entries is so fast at the mo! dance.gif

They dropped out during the midweeks.

Really hope Lana Del Rey can scrape the top 40 this week but I have a feeling The Chainsmokers have kicked her down to #41 (I'm loving their new single but they can wait for next week). Would be even better if Martin Jensen could make it as well but I doubt it.

Wow at this being the 20th anniversary of 'Encore Une Fois' entering the chart too ohmy.gif dance.gif What a tune, it should've been #1 really but at least it was held off by the massive 'Don't Speak' rather than some fanbase act or boyband.

I don't think The Chainsmokers have made it into the top 40 yet, maybe it would have had a better chance if it was released earlier.

The Coldsmokers will probably stay in the top 40 until Christmas let's be honest. Can see it getting to #1 at some point too once Ed Sheeran's album has died down a bit.

Just gave it a listen, it's fantastic dance.gif Just makes me pine for at least one trance song to hit the top 40, hopefully one of Spotify's next dance cherry-picks at least has some trance influences.
