Oooh, this sounds good. It's certainly got me excited. 'In Our Heads' went a little over my head when it was released. I love them nonetheless and always look forward to new material.

Hot Chip are occasionally brilliant. Looking forward to this. Agreed. 6Music played "Ready For The Floor" yesterday and it still sounds brilliant - especially the fact that it was written for Kylie Minogue and they didn't change the line 'you're my number one guy' ! |

I did not know it was written for Kylie.
I Feel Better is also wonderful. |

Huarache Lights is very good. Interesting that Alexis spent some of his time off working with James Yorkston. Would be interesting to see if that has rubbed off on the new Hot Chip album at all.

my album title of last year was 'i never learn' (even if i thought the album itself was absolutely dreadful and boring and miserable) and this one feels like 2015's perfect title~

This is the best thing I've heard from Hot Chip in a while, sensational. Consistently good across five albums, it really makes me feel old reminding myself how long they've actually been around for.

I like the use of classic dance vox samples - it gives it a really old school dance flavour. Ta for the Need You Now video link, hadn't heard that one yet, but have loved Huarache Lights for weeks now.
