Oops at Gaga not progressing though Strange of them to remove 'Kids' after just 4 weeks, especially considering they gave it the honour of being added straight to the B-list Thought they might add James Arthur this week. 🔥🚀🔥 Joined: 30 August 2010 Posts: 74,573 User: 11,746	good to see Calvin and Emeli straight to B-List this week. Eeek at Lady Gaga not progressing though, it seems now that it's had such a big 2nd week decline on the charts radio aren't going to really bother with it.

I've noticed they've been a lot stingier with their playlist runs for certain songs recently, whilst keeping others on the A-list for an obscene amount of time.

Yeh they said they would focus much more on British artists but I haven't seen much evidence of that. Good points of the shake up - 1) Finally add songs straight into the B/A list depending on release/hype of artist/high chart entry Bad points - 1) As someone said they are more measley with songs like this week One Republic/Imani/Jamie T/Aluna George only getting three week. Surely in this chart era songs need more to get established 2) leading from the last point songs that become established spend far too much time getting maximum spins from the station and remain on the A list for up to 14/15 weeks eg. Drake/Kungs/Justin Timberlake. If they're established just drop them and support something else! 3) There's still not enough 'risks' being taken for example artists stay in the INMWT list and get readded when more people know the track eg Hozier Take me to Church being the example that pops into my head first. Why not add to the INMWT and move up the lists? Take a chance if you believe in an artist.
