So since some of y'all started a campaign to vote Where Have You Been out, it has ended in a tie with 13-13 between the pair.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN vs. DIAMONDS
This'll be a quick one, that'll close in ~24 hours, so somewhere around 7:30 Friday the 20th.
The winner will move on to round 39
Diamonds.
Diamonds OUT plz
Where Have You Been.
omg seriously, Tim? I'm out.
Like both a similar amount but "Where Have You Been" got a lot more tiring so voting that.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN IS SHITE!!
BAH GURL!
Diamonds are forever *.*
DIAMONDS
For fuck's sake! Kill it with fire already.
I swear some sort of alliance is being formed as it keeps getting saved despite almost dying each time.
Where Have You Been. Goodbye.
Should've been Only Girl though!
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN
Please can we get rid of it now
omg seriously what happened LOL.
'Where Have You Been' though.
Next one is going to be a nightmare though.
Ideally #PleaseJustStopThisMusic should go next but it's not going to happen, is it? So I'd rather have #DisturbiaToWin than continue rallying the troops for #DiamondsAreForever. I think I might have to betray the cause and save my fave~
Diamonds
You people are insane.
Disturbia is by far the best remaining
Going for dont stop the music or diamonds next
Where Have You Been
Where Have You Been
As Pavel would say, "#DiamondsAreForever"!
WHYB >>>>>> Diamonds tbh
WHYB is one of her bests. Like top 5 bests.
Diamonds is nice in certain circumstances. Kinda like in the Pokemon battles way back in the day. You know, some would have the attack "lullaby", and it would lull the other Pokemon to sleep so that it could be more easily ATTACKED and TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. That's what I think of when I hear Diamonds.
And yes, I know I'm weird.
LOL at Diamonds slaying
WHYB
So #DiamondsAreForever is pretty much officially the most succesful campaign in all Buzzjack least fave poll history? It was 2nd place in rounds 33, 34, 36, 37, 38 and 3rd in round 35.
#PleaseJustStopTheMusic campaign launching alongside #DiamondsAreForever to try and eliminate Don't Stop The Music. It's not worthy of the Top 6! WE CAN DO IT!
A vote against Disturbia is a vote for Hitler. Keep that in mind guys
WHERE HAVE YOU BYE!!
Tim, since Diamonds DREW at the least popular in the previous round, surely it should be eliminated now? Obviously Where Have You been would just be lower in the placings.
Nope. #DiamondsAreForever
Basically after this tie, instead of sticking 'Diamonds' in the next round, just eliminate it but at the higher position than WHYB.
Did it? Let me check back real' quick!
But THIS IS THE TOP 10! Rules can change
#DiamondsAreForever
inb4 I get accused of cheating, I voted Diamonds so puh-lease...
I feel like now that we've reached the top 10 a double elimination is out of order for some reason? It certainly makes this game a lot more exciting (and possibly a lot more frustrating sorry Aly) but imo only one should leave? Imma need y'all for some thoughts as well tho, because on the other hand I want to remain consistent (Altho we did have a flashvote for a triple tie as well, with only 1 leaving) but on the other hand I really like the excitement factor of Diamonds staying in.
Thoughts pls?
EDIT: I am completely aware that Diamonds' supporters will probably be against this
I think Diamonds should go. It drew FINALLY, in every other of these games the tie breakers just decide the placing but they're both eliminated.
There shouldn't be double eliminations in the final 10. #DiamondsAreForever
No double eliminations in the top 10 I think should happen (and I don't even like diamonds that much)
I think in this case the obvious fact an alliance was formed to do this should be taken into consideration.
(If 'Diamonds' is actually winning fair and square, then that's fair enough)
Where Have You Been..
Those bitches don't seem to be giving up. BRING. IT. AWN.
#DiamondsAreForever #PleaseJustStopTheMusic

EVICTED: Where Have You Been
The majority has spoken so Where Have You Been has been evicted and Diamonds manages to slay yet ANOTHER round
"Where Have You Been" is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, from her sixth studio album, Talk That Talk (2011) serving as the fifth single. The song was written by Ester Dean, Geoff Mack, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Henry "Cirkut" Walter, and Calvin Harris, with production handled by the latter three. "Where Have You Been" was released as the third international single from the album on May 8, 2012. The track is a dance-pop and techno house song that draws influence from trance, R&B and hip hop. It is backed by "hard, chilly synths" and contains an electro-inspired breakdown sequence. The song's lyrics interpolate Geoff Mack's 1959 song "I've Been Everywhere" and speak of a woman who is searching for a partner who will please her.
"Where Have You Been" was met with positive reviews from most music critics, who likened the song to Talk That Talk's lead single, "We Found Love". The track performed well on major international charts. In the United States, "Where Have You Been" reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Rihanna's twenty-second top ten single on the chart. It also peaked at number one on both the US Hot Dance Club Songs and UK Dance Chart, and at number three on the US Pop Songs chart. In addition, it attained top five positions in the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Israel, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, while peaking in the top ten of charts in twenty countries worldwide including Australia, Belgium and Norway.
The song's accompanying music video, directed by Dave Meyers depicts the singer in an assortment of costumes and locations, referencing the song's lyrics. Rihanna is seen as a semi-naked water reptilian, in an Egyptian desert, an African themed hut, and channeling Hindu god Shiva with multiple limbs. The video received a positive response from critics, who praised Rihanna's new approach to deeper choreography. Rihanna has performed the song on both Saturday Night Live and the finale of the eleventh season of American Idol. The song was nominated for a 2013 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance.

Diamonds
We Found Love because I can't vote for Don't Stop The Music over that, but good luck to Diamonds.
I have no idea. I used to hate 'Don't Stop The Music' but have grown to appreciate it recently. 'Diamonds' is so close to getting my vote too as much as i like it. DECISIONS... I will return later and decide i think ~
Diamonds
You'd be the Only Boy (In The World) happy with that vote, Jonjo. x
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.
'Diamonds' should have finished 43rd at the absolute highest. There is seriously nothing good about that song. It is EVIL.
Don't Stop the Music is overrated cheesy dated heartless dance shet, just like Where Have You Been.
JAde is right - Where HAve You Been is a HORRORRRR of a song!!!!! It's disgustingly bad and has no emotion.
Diamonds, meanwhile, is one of her best.
Diamondites, let us destroy #Disturbia, that piece of SHET, next round!!
I really like 'Diamonds', but it is outstaying its welcome at this stage.
Buzzjack needs to get some taste.

EVICTED: Diamonds
"Diamonds" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic (2012). It was written by Sia Furler together with its producers, Benny Blanco and StarGate. The song premiered on September 26, 2012, during the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was digitally released the following day as the lead single from Unapologetic. Def Jam Recordings serviced the single to contemporary hit radio in the United States on October 2. "Diamonds" is a mid-tempo electronic and pop ballad that features heavy synthesizers, orchestral sounds and electronic rhythms. The song's lyrics serve as a departure from the themes of unhealthy relationships that were on Rihanna's previous singles and contain a prominent concept of love.
"Diamonds" was well received by most critics, some of whom complimented Rihanna's different musical direction, while others criticized the song's production. The single topped music charts in over twenty countries, including the United States, where it became Rihanna's twelfth number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and tied her with Madonna and The Supremes for the fifth-most number one singles in the chart's history. "Diamonds" was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). By May 2013, it had sold over 7.5 million copies worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling singles of all-time.
The song's music video was shot by director Anthony Mandler, a frequent collaborator of Rihanna's, and depicts her in four environments that represent the elements of earth, air, water and fire. The video received positive reviews and was praised for its imagery. Some critics believe that the heavily tattooed man intertwined with Rihanna's arm in the video resembles Chris Brown. The singer performed "Diamonds" on television shows such as Saturday Night Live and The X Factor and included it on the 777, Diamonds and The Monster Tour set lists. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) recognized it as one of the most performed songs of 2013 and 2014. The official remix of "Diamonds" featured rapper Kanye West and was released on November 16, 2012. The song has been covered by various recording artists, including Josef Salvat who released his own single version of "Diamonds".

Closing this saturday night!
The fact it got anywhere near as high as 7th is such an unbelievable joke! (the fact it beat 'Russian Roulette' which is 100000 times the ballad that is in every way is even moreso).
We've got a strong selection left now, but 'Only Girl (In The World)' is the weakest link left for me.
Lol at Diamonds picking up even more votes.
Don't stop the music
#DISTURBIATOWIN #DONTSTOPTHEMUSICOUT #WHATSMYNAMENEXT

Disturbia. Aged terribly. At least DSTM set the trend that would end up dominating the charts for years.

What's My Name. HAS to be, such an overrated song and if it beats any of the remaining tracks, it's an injustice
ok can I change to don't stop the music cos what's my name going is NOT what I signed up for
IKR? WMN is without a doubt in her top 5 songs (let alone singles!)
I always thought 'What's My Name' was widely considered the better single over 'Only Girl', so the results surprise me a bit.
WMN is by FAR the worse of the two for me.
At the time I preferred Only Girl, but now I think What's My Name has aged better.
Oh FFS.
I genuinely clicked on Only Girl in the World' in error and submitted it before i realised id clicked the wrong one
I should've voted for WMN
These results tho
y'all on crack? WMN is in her top 3 for sure, if not #1
Don't Stop The Music
What's My Name needs to end in the Top 4 at least.
disturbia.

EVICTED: Don't Stop The Music
"Don't Stop the Music" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007). It was written by Tawanna Dabney, Michael Jackson, Mikkel S. Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, and produced by the latter two under their production name StarGate. The song was released as the album's fourth single on September 7, 2007 worldwide. "Don't Stop the Music" is a dance-pop and techno song that features a wide variety of rhythmic devices used mainly in hip hop music. The song samples the line, "Mama-say, mama-sa, ma-ma-ko-ssa" which is taken from Jackson's 1983 single "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'". For using the line, both Rihanna and Jackson faced a lawsuit from the Cameroonian musician Manu Dibango, who claimed that the hook is originally from his 1972 song "Soul Makossa".
"Don't Stop the Music" received critical acclaim from contemporary music critics with many of them praising the interpolation of the "Mama-say, mama-sa, ma-ma-ko-ssa" hook into the song. It was nominated for several accolades, eventually winning the award for Best International Song at the 2008 NRJ Music Awards. "Don't Stop the Music" was a commercial success, reaching number one in over ten countries worldwide including Australia, Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland. The single peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart. It has been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and sold over 3.5 million copies in the US.
Anthony Mandler shot the accompanying music video for the song in Prague, the Czech Republic. It features Rihanna together with two of her friends sneaking into the back of a candy store where there is a secret club. Other scenes include Rihanna partying with the people in the club. Since its release, "Don't Stop the Music" has become a staple in Rihanna's live performances. It was part of the set lists of her four major tours, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007–09), Last Girl on Earth (2010–11), Loud (2011) and the Diamonds World Tour (2013). English recording artist Jamie Cullum recorded a jazz version of the song for his 2009 studio album The Pursuit.

#saveDisturbia
#VoteOhNana
Disturbia, such a tune though - Halloween staple.
What's My Name.
What's My Name.
Can y'all f***ers stop voting What's My Name already? Target the inferior Loud single instead (or for now Disturbishet)
Always thought 'What's My Name' was massively over-rated. It going would be perfect.
#SaveDisturbia
Want to vote for 'Disturbia' but the notion that 'WMN' should be the highest 'Loud' single is so wrong (it's not even the top3 of 'Loud' singles). So I'm tempted to vote for that
What's My Name
Disturbia.
What's My Name surely HAS to go now, it's so much weaker than the others it's unreal
What's My Name
i definitely voted we found love in this the other day (i was the first vote and the results were 0,0,0,0,1 so I know it worked) so where has my vote gone?
There's still a vote for WFL tho?
'We Found Love'
Even though I want to save 'What's My Name'
Woah, I can't believe What's My Name has picked up that many votes.
What's My Name
#DisturbiaAreForever
OH NA NA LOLOLOL
Once 'What's My Name' goes, that's a brilliant top 4!
Disturbia is the worst song of her career along weeth what's it called that shet emotionless dance - no, not DSTM, the other one!

All four songs are 11/10 now though. Disturbia to win
'Disturbia' has to go now. It sounds outdated.
THANK FUCK
Only Girl to go now for me.
Got to be 'We Found Love' for me now. It's great but the other 3 are better.
Time for We Found Love to bow out of here. Any of the other three would be great winners.
Omg.
What is wrong with you all?
I genuinely wasn't expecting this sudden 'We Found Love' movement!

WFL for me. It's grown on me massively in the past month(s) but I've always loved the other two so...

'Only Girl'.

FINALLY!!
DISTURBIA IS A BUCKET OF AWFUL NONSENSE!
OGITW - aged badly.
We Found Love.
Only Girl.
Disturbia Should've been top 2 with Umbrella.
Definitely We Found Love. Overrated to the extreme, seriously. It IS an 8.5/10 or so, but everyone acts like it's the second coming in audio form.
We Found Love
All of the ones left are like 10/10s or more for me, but Only Girl (In The World) is the only one I could possibly shift to a 9.5/10, while the others are possibly in 11/10 or above zones.
Went with "Only Girl".
Flop Rihanna stans voting "Disturbia" out, shameful.
These 3 are my favourite three Rihanna singles. Had to go for Only Girl.
We Found Love is overrated.

EVICTED: Only Girl (In The World)
"Only Girl (In the World)" is a song by Barbadian singer Rihanna from her fifth studio album, Loud (2010). The song was released on September 10, 2010, as the lead single from the album. The American songwriter Crystal Johnson wrote the song in collaboration with the producers Stargate and Sandy Vee. Rihanna contacted Stargate prior to when the production of Loud began, and asked them to created "happy", up-tempo music. "Only Girl (In the World)" was the first song to be created for the album, and Rihanna decided to include it on the track list before recording her vocals. Backed by a "heavy" bass and synthesizers, it draws influence from a multitude of genres, including dance, Hi-NRG and R&B. The lyrics revolve around Rihanna demanding the physical attention of her lover.
Critical response to "Only Girl (In the World)" was positive: many critics praised its composition and Rihanna's decision to move away from the dark and ominous themes which were present on her previous album, Rated R (2009). The song charted at number-one on the United States' Billboard Hot 100 chart two weeks after the album's second single "What's My Name?" peaked at number-one. It was the first time in the history of the chart that an album's lead single reached number-one after the second single. In the United Kingdom, the song spent four non-consecutive weeks at number-one, and it has become the nineteenth best-selling single of all time, selling over a million copies. The song peaked at number one in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Ireland, and reached the top five in France, Germany and Switzerland.
To promote "Only Girl (In the World)", Rihanna performed on Saturday Night Live and at the 38th American Music Awards in the United States and on The X Factor and on The Graham Norton Show in the United Kingdom. She also performed a shortened version at the 31st Brit Awards. Anthony Mandler directed the song's music video, which portrays Rihanna in an open landscape by herself. It suggests that the singer is the only girl in the world, mimicking the title and lyrics of the song. Critics complimented the video for its bright and colorful simplistic theme. At the 53rd Grammy Awards (2011), "Only Girl (In the World)" won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

FINAL DATE OF VOTING: FRIDAY 20 MARCH
We Found Love, Umbrella absolutely MUST win
I can honestly say I cannot possibly pick etween the 2 of them, both are ikonec and amazing in their own ways
The best top 2 possible from the choices we ran down to.
'We Found Love' for the win though! So I voted 'Umbrella'!
Umbrella FTW!
We Found Love for the win.
'We Found Love' to win!!
'We Found Love'.
Slay us with yo' garageband beats, 'Umbrella'.
"Umbrella" needs to smash like HELL.
Umbrella
Voted Umbrella! 'We Found Love' to win.
We Found Love
Umbrella to win!
We Found Love for the win!
Umbrella to win
Disturbia deserved to win though
I adore both of them! However, I voted "We Found Love". I feel sick..
Oh my god I'm tired and so clicked to vote for my FAVOURITE - I voed We Foond Luurrv by accedent!
I wanted to vote for Umbrella - someone change my vote to least fave!!!
We Found Love.
Umbrella to win
#VoteUmbrella
#WeFoundLoveAreForever
#ikonec #RadicalRihannaTrolls #SNATCHTHATREDWEV
I voted 'We Found Love'.
Results are very close
My vote sending it to an 18-18 tie
Umbrella to win, voted We Found Love! This better not go wrong after We Found Love picked up more votes in the previous round
For once, let's find a good result in a hopeless place. Please do the opposite of what Jak is requesting!
ALWAYS do the opposite of what Jak is requesting!!
No, Umbrella must win this thing. Voted We Found Love.
Has someone changed Michael's bote? He says he accidentally boted for 'We Found Love' as he thought it was for "Favourite" and didn't realise it was still least favourite!
Both fantastic but We Found Love for the win
Umbrella to WIN
Oh my goodness, drawing with 22 each. Maybe they deserve to be joint winners.
(No, please vote Umbrella. We Found Love for the win!)
I am yet to cast my vote tho
i'll break ha soon
It meet by fairer now just to have 2 winners??
no, close it now whilst Umbrella is ahead!!
Back to 50/ 50
It's a draw!
I feel a draw would make everyone happy.
(but on the other hand, it would be a total cop-out, let's get Umbrella winning this)
I half wish that both could win, they're my two favourites by her!
(but to defy Iz, let's get We Found Love winning this)
We Found Love is probably her most overrated single Total 8/10 which is not good enough to be even close to a RiRi highlight.
But would it have sounded better by Leona Lewis before he swept it from under her feet when he got on better with Ri Ri on tour??
#These hoes ain't loyal
Overrated / overplayed or whatever. "We Found Love" has long tired on me, "Umbrella" is much more of a classic.
BUT, that said.. vote "Umbrella"
I actually hate the instrumental on 'We Found Love'. It sounds great during the chorus 'cause there's vocals going with it but the actual instrumental parts fall flat. Very uneventful and just blah. Could've/should've been much more euphoric.
This is a very worthy final 'cause these are her two monster hits, but 'Umbrella' should edge this! Not just 'cause I prefer it, but because it cemented her in the music business.
Voted Umbrella.
We Found Love to win.
Ah the days when Dance Pop was interesting.
I voted for 'We Found Love' earlier, 'Umbrella' should win this.
These results overall have been the worst results I've ever seen for something like this on this site, and pretty much a joke.
r00d Aly
Anyway, I finally decided on my vote and it went to We Found Love
JonJo is right - Where Have You Been/ Disturbia are atrocious.
The Beyonce results and Katy Perry results have also been a mess tbf.
It's the Buzzjack indie crowd tryna be cool and dislike their huge hits like hipsters, making skewed results.
At least the Rihanna final has ended with two of her most massive hit singles.
Wow Umbrella is gonna be second by a big gap at this rate!!
Umbrella > We Found Love
Her two best songs for me, so perfect results, would both be in my top 20 of all time I'd say. But 'We Found Love' is my favourite of hers so I've had to go for Umbrella.
FINAL RESULTS
Umbrella (feat. Jay-Z) [ 33 ] ** [55.93%]
We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) [ 26 ] ** [44.07%]
EVICTED: Umbrella (feat. Jay-Z)
