Once again, criticism from all quarters it seems that Boris isn't bothering to visit flood hit areas and hasn't made any statement. sad.gif I'm sure it's not deliberate and he's just been busy having talks about HS2.

Come on Boris, you're our PM, get yer wellies on and get out there. smile.gif

He doesn't care now there' not an election. If these floods hit thr Tory home counties, then believe me there would have been an immediate response. Bojo is a charlatan and he tricked you. We told you so.

Of course it's deliberate. Are you seriously suggesting he just forgot?

He's apparently been having important talks about HS2.

Chris with the greatest respect that's at best optimstic and at neutral gullible.

The same HS2 that's been slowly in progress for years and years already us now all of a sudden Boris Johnson's priority, in a week like this? Sure.

Chris does always seem to try to see the best in people which is admirable, but yes he is probably being a bit too optimisic in this case.

I expect Boris will visit the affected areas tomorrow or the next day as he will surely now have to respond to the criticism but yes he should have visited earlier than that.

Boris has always dreamed of having this job but he only really ever considered the perks and never the hard parts. He is terrible at these kinds of things and doesn’t really care for the people in these situations.

He got Brexit through though, didn’t he? Yay, I guess...

I'm only saying what I read in the Metro today. They said he's been busy with that rather than the floods.

Most people he's worked with in the past say he's basically lazy and gets bored easily and if he can will try and do as little as possible in a day and delegates to others a lot. He's wanted to be PM for years, to live in No.10, meet world leaders, be chauffered around and have all the perks but not do too much work. Suppose it's a trait in someone that you can't really change.

But not very Prime Ministerial. If he can't concentrate on anything for long and can't juggle priorities, he's in the wrong job.

He will go no where near the flooded areas. Too many people who will subject him to actual scrutiny and legitimate questions like “when are you going to build flood defences you promised” and “why has your party cut the funding for the environment agency and flood defences to the bone over its 9 year reign of terror”.

He won’t go anywhere he has to meet real people or face anything approaching scrutiny. If the audience ain’t littered with plants to chant his lies back to him he ain’t gonna be there.

He was apparently in Vienna in talks with the Austrian leader about HC2. He can't be in two places at once.

Actually with tinternet and all our wonderful technology, he technically could be in two places at once. I’m sure the Austrian leader would understand that Boris can’t leave his country in a time of crisis.

But who wants to stay in awful stormy Britain when you can holiday in Vienna? f*** those moany Brits!

HC2?

He could easily have teleconferenced in, after all it wouldn’t be him actually doing any of the work

Maybe needed a little break after all his Brexit work and they say Vienna is very nice. Always better to see another leader face-to-face over lunch.

No I now recognise that he does have faults. He doesn't really seem to take his new job and life too seriously. That wouldn't be too bad as a shelf-stacker but he has a very responsible job.

What did we say when he was standing for the leadership? We said he was lazy. We said that he treated politics as a game. We said that he behaved as if he was running for the job of court jester rather than PM. You dismissed it all.
