Shantay Om With the biggest percentage of votes yet, we lose Shanti/Ashtangi. It has it's many fans on here but on such a strong album it's just missed the top 10! The song is a very interesting one as Madonna explores her studying of Buddhism, Hinduism and her experiences of yoga and meditation around the time of recording the album and produces an infintely relaxing, peaceful and spiritual song in lyric and sound, that connects to this. It's a Hindu Sanskrit prayer made into an up-tempo techno song and is one of her most experimental songs to date on this album or any. Deadline: Wednesday evening~ 11. Shanti/Ashtangi (11 votes, 64.71%) 12. Little Star (9 votes, 45.00%) 13. Mer Girl (10 votes, 50.00%) |

Glad to see there are some 'To Have and Not to Hold' fans out there. I feel it being tagged on near the very end of the album as well as being quite minimalistic in comparison to other, more bold productions means it is appreciated less than it deserves to be.
If 'Candy Perfume Girl' goes next, the results are I think exactly how I'd put them. |

Makes you realise how strong the album is though when I'm wanting a song I love to drop out 8th because of the strength of the top 7

I'd agree that Swim and THANTH should be the next 2 out (assuming CPG goes now). I'll be rather out of step after that though as Frozen has always been pretty overrated/underwhelming for me.
