To think this was just a song I heard the radio edit for while randomly skimming thru some Spotify dance playlist earlier this year & pencilled it in for a potential contest entry. I only heard the full version when deciding what to reconfirm (yep this wasn't my original submission  ) and it was an incredible listen. Glad it picked up so many strong fans!

Well done Dobbo! Very good entry. I am still wondering what the theme will be for the next contest, I don't know what your favourite dance subgenre apart from trance is Dobbo!
 Many thanks everyone who voted for 'Raves Like This' it really is a very unique track I found on beatport recently and thought it may do better in this than BJSC, although wasn't expecting it to be top 2 in this when I saw that two tunes I knew 'Do You See the Light' and the sadly flopped 'Infected' were in it! Excellent, my 12 winning! *. Congrats Dobbo, and thank you very much for that as it was a wonderful discovery, I need to look for more classical-trance crossovers. Did not expect Raves Like This to be from Snake either, colour me impressed!
Very pleased with just about getting top 10 even if it did mean edging the wonderful Plastic Boy out, thanks all for voting and thanks for hosting a great contest, Addy, sorry you had to come last but at least I wasn't the only one that pointed you  (Given I voted on the day of the deadline, you must've literally had nothing for the whole week  )

I could have been more inspired in terms of artist but this seemed like a good opportunity to share a former personal chart #1 of mine! Then again nearly every song on ATB's Movin' Melodies went top three on my chart, absolutely adore it. Warsaw is such a good winner, easily the best discovery here for me. Just like to say a huge thanks to Addy for organising & running this so smoothly! And of course to all participants, a nice round 20 was a strong number to kick things off.
In terms of theme for the next one I've got a few ideas floating around but I'll discuss with Dan nearer to the time, gonna be tough to follow trance! |

Sorry guys, i had to abruptly leave after results because my friends showed up lol but I managed to finish everything on time.
Big congrats to Dobbo, very well deserved winner...as of my entry I actually don't mind finishing last...for me it was all about the first contest to be successful and I consider it as one. Thanks to all of you for kind words, I am glad you all enjoyed it. I actually can't wait for vol.2...Euro Dance Theme would be amazing
