I've voted for Fifth Harmony, I'm not a massive fan of their debut album but their first three songs are literally incredible!
Fifth Harmony
G.R.L
Lighthouse is my 2nd favourite girlband song this decade and in my top 5 ever and ugly heart is probably in my top 5/10 for this decade as well- both are beyond amazing
I love boss and like sledgehammer but don't like the rest of FH stuff, neon jungle are solid but the only song I love of theirs is louder and Little Mix are beyond amazing but I really need new music- move is beyond amazing
Little Mix tbh.
Their songs are more catchy, if you ask me.
1. G.R.L. Their material is so catchy and they are really talented and cool. I've played Lighthouse, Ugly Heart, Show Me What You Got, Vacation, and Wild Wild Love to death. I've liked Lauren Bennett since she was in the Paradiso Girls.
2. Fifth Harmony While I find them a bit annoying (especially the really tiny one), Worth It and especially Sledgehammer have won me over. I need to take some time to listen to the entire album.
Little Mix and Neon Jungle are just there for me. I love DNA and Welcome to the Jungle but otherwise I don't really care for them.
No pun or offence intended, but G.R.L. died with Simone. They had so much potential.
1. G.R.L. loved both singles so far and their EP was so strong too. So much promise. Ugly Heart is my favourite though!
2. Fifth Harmony - BO$$
3. Little Mix - How Ya Doin'? (specifically the Missy Elliott version)
4. Neon Jungle - Braveheart
Little Mix
Pop Ladies
I'm not LOVING any of them. Ugly Heart was my favourite song of 2014 but Lighthouse was too weak of a followup for me to say I was loving them. Bring back the sats tbh.
Same. I don't LOVE any of them, although I like them all. :/
I used to absolutely love G.R.L., but I have to agree and say it just isn't the same without Simone.
Little Mix have released good music, but I can't seem to get into them as a band. Although, I'll always download their albums because I know there will be a few gems in there.
I've started to warm up to 'Fifth Harmony' as well, but Camila is just way too annoying for me to get behind them properly. Also, Ally starts to get on my nerves as well But 'Sledgehammer' and 'Worth It' are jams. But half of their album was just beyond dire ("LFTW - The Jam, but not even as catchy" level) so it's hard to say...
I was not going to say anything about 'Neon Jungle' at first but I just listened to their album the other day and it was actually quite decent. They are in similar case to Little Mix in my eyes as they don't annoy me, has quite a few gems here and there, but somehow just don't appeal to me at all.
Sad, tbh.
Little Mix definitely the bottom of the pile for me, the music is good but I find them so DULL. Fifth Harmony's debut has grown on me massively but like Hurricane said, Camila Cabello is annoying as anything so makes me less inclined to call myself a "stan". Neon Jungle were good but what will they do now given the underperformance of album one? Not a lot. G.R.L. I LOVE - the EP is good, Ugly Heart was amazing and Lighthouse was an injustice. Although, they are probably my favourite girl group since The Sats so I've gone with G.R.L. on this one!
Little Mix are very annoying tbh tho. It's grating how they always put on accents when doing interviews and stuff (they might've stopped doing it tho)
Personality wise and looks wise The Sats win!
Basically, Girls Aloud slay all these new girl groups x
Little Mix I like as a group and hope they can manage success with their next campaign - but they've never really had a killer song for me yet, though I do like some of them. Their success is reminding me of the girls aloud level of success at the level they were on on their first two albums.
1.) Fifth Harmony - by far. Their latest album has made more of an impact on me than the other three's discographies.
2.) Neon Jungle - three reasons: "Braveheart", a sort of individuality within them, and QUEEN ASAMI ZDRENKA.
3.) G.R.L. - honestly really good but c'mon 3-4 songs isn't enough
4.) Little Mix - basically got pushed behind due to lack of material these days
I guess Sweet Suspense can cover my "other" category but they've only had like one song so
MKS
G.R.L. quite easily for me, Lauren Bennett is just beautiful.
Although looking at this list I miss the days when we had really strong girl groups - Sugababes, Girls Aloud and The Sats. I'm not sure any of these will have their level of longitivity
Little Mix as a whole I think. 2NE1 for "other" as well, they are brilliant and could be huge WW but they're so slow to release stuff....
I wonder if any of these bands will last as long as the Sats?
Overall it'd have to be Little Mix - looking forward to them coming back! It's felt like ages since their last stuff.
Neon Jungle had a lot of potential but they seem to be On The Rocks by Nicole Scherzinger. Hard to say with G.R.L., hopefully they come back with great pop music when the time is right. Fifth Harmony have released 3 back to back singles that I've liked a lot, so I'd rank them behind Little Mix currently. I need to check out their album.
[I miss the Spice Girls/Girls Aloud/Sugababes ]
The Saturdays haven't been away for long enough for me to really miss them yet! #nosnub
I think in a way Jay's right. The bands from the early 2000's have been gone long enough for us to miss them, where as The Saturdays have not just an extensive discography (not gonna lie, the others have that as well), but not enough time to be inactive. In a way, compared to the likes of SG/SB/GA, The Sats are pretty much alive and well, let alone keeping us saturated.
It's like I would miss *NSYNC or New Kids but I wouldn't miss The Wanted as much.
All but Neon Jungle have a good team behind them too so their time around could vary! I'd love Fifth Harmony to get a second album even if it does take another decade to do it but what I'd love even more is for G.R.L. to be as big as PCD!
There's also M.O who are currently smashing up the Radio 1 and Capital playlists.
1. Neon Jungle - London Rain & Braveheart.
2. Little Mix - Change Your Life & Nothing Feels Like You
3. G.R.L - Lighthouse
I dislike Fifth Harmony
TBH I'm Not a girlband fan. Aside from the better ones of the 2000's and the sats.
Give me Sugababes/Girls Aloud/The Saturdays over the irrelevants mention in the first page.
'Sledgehammer' really SCREAMED 'The Saturdays' though, didn't it? The verses and that chorus. Hell even the video is basically what The Sats would have come up with.

The fact Little Mix are winning this gives me no hope for the future
G.R.L. for me, although I'm not convinced we'll be hearing from them again. 'Lighthouse' flopping was the injustice of the year, such an amazing song.
I would have said Neon Jungle but their album was such a massive disappointment.
Little Mix have been solidly consistent so far, but we'll see what album 3 brings.
Fifth Harmony's 3 singles have been good, but like Neon Jungle have unleashed a shit album.
I'm really surprised G.R.L. have as many fans as this tbh. :\ They are yet to release an album and only 'Ugly Heart' was actually any good. The message behind 'Lighthouse' is far stronger than the song itself, which I find to be such a non event. I like that others can find something special and personable about it, but I'm struggling to find it anything more than "ok"/anti climatic when it comes down to the song.
Anyway I voted the other day. No surprises as to who, but I think when I'd voted GRL had like 7 votes to LM 5 or something!
I voted G.R.L. based on the strength of 'Lighthouse', 'Ugly Heart', 'Show Me What You Got' and 'Vacation' - all stellar.
I think the G.R.L. EP was seriously superior to a lot of things girlgroups have put out, but then I guess it was easier to release a compilation of 4-5 great songs and leave the fillers out of it unlike girlgroups who release albums...

Fifth Harmony and G.R.L are the only ones I really care about now, but they won't fill the void the way the Saturdays did which is disappointing considering their strong vocals/dancing
