Jhene moves up one to #1 this week, giving her a fourth total and second from latest album Trip. It's also Rae Sremmurd's first #1, but perhaps not their last - I'm loving their new song Powerglide right now! M.O slip down 1 and the rest of the top 5 is just about static, as is the entire top 10 with the exception of Iggy's Savior which enters this week. It's an unexpected career resurgence for Iggy who's been delivering some bops after the Mo Bounce-shaped misfire this time last year. As for Jhene, I'm a huge fan. possibly her biggest supporter on BuzzJack, so her latest single topping my chart is not a huge surprise. I'm glad to share it on to a wider audience.

Our first brand new entry this week doesn't come until #17 and it's a strong debut for Krewella featuring Yellow Claw and Chinese rapper Vava. The dance duo have sparse previous history on my charts, managing a top ten back in 2014 and top 30 entries in 2016 and 17, but nothing else, so this is a turn up for them. SZA's Prom is right behind, a solo charter in advance of All The Stars set to make an impact next week. Other new entries this week come from Dua Lipa and Miguel (not together this time!), Phlake, Above & Beyond, Dua Lipa again with Whethan, Sinead Harnett, and a double for HAIM with their own You Never Knew and Saturdays alongside Twin Shadow.
Those will be linked a bit later on in the week to save you hunting for them, so check back to see those, and feel free to peek at my (linked) weekly playlists in the meantime.

And with all that out of the way, here's this top 40 list for this first week of March 2018:

Hi!

Quite liked your BJSC entry, wish it could have done better sad.gif
Savior is actually dead good, such a shame Iggy can't get a hit anymore
Nice to see raingurl here, such a catchy tune music.gif
New World is a banger too

Thanks for your comments folks!

Here's the new entries this week.

First up, a double for HAIM. You Never Knew gives the sisters a 6th charter from latest album Something To Tell You.

Whethan, Sinead, Krewella and Above & Beyond rep for dance this week...

while Dua's IDGAF is this week's only pophoe entry.

SZA and Miguel hold the torch for R&B, landing their respective second charters from their 2017 albums...

while Phlake gains a first entry ever with The Rascal, following-up on near-misses Pregnant (2016) and Kerosene (2017).
Hope you enjoy these tracks and look forward to hearing your thoughts next week!
