Those of you on TikTok will know that Studio Killers' 2013 track Jenny has received a new lease of life on the app. It has now been released as a standalone single. Not much is likely to come from it but it still slaps!

This has always sounded like a UK top 10 hit even though it never was so some late exposure could easily push it.
Very reminiscent of Jubel Dancing In The Moonlight in that regard. |

I would love for this to take off but I do think it's still a bit too left-field to do well enough in the charts, particularly it's subject matter and vocals. Love the song of course and I'm glad it's getting a new lease of life!

It sounds quite ahead of the trend for 2013 with the tropical house production in the verses, kind of reminds me of Unicorn Kid in that respect.
Great song anyway. |

I like but I don't think Kim adds much unfortunately
 She's just singing the same lyrics right? I'd have loved her to sing from the perspective of Jenny. I think I just had high hopes cause Kim Petras is a favourite of mine. She doesn't detract at least and the new production elements sound good, sounds a bit Clean Bandit.
