So after Kim announcing today that Kanye was going to be releasing new music every Friday we have already been given first proper installment in the form of 'Real Friends' and it's incredible. I mean I loved 'All Day' but for some reason I was worried about the way this era was going to go and was worried he would finally have his slip, but this suggests differently. I love it when Kanye slows it down a bit and gets thoughtful, it just works so well. The snippet at the end of the song 'No More Parties In L.A.' with Kendrick sounds like an absolute moment too. Bring on the album of 2016. |

This is fantastic. It could easily fit onto 'The College Dropout' as a follow up to 'Family Business' or something. Welcome back.

Absolutely glorious. 'Facts' was a bit of a mis-step for me, but this more than makes up for that. Incredible.
So damn excited for all this nu Kanye. YEEZUS JUST ROSE AGAIN |

Is it just me or does it remind anyone else of 'Good Morning'? There is something in that production that really gives me the same vibes. Really is classic Kanye doing exactly what he does better than anyone else.

'No Party in L.A.' finally out in full.
Real Friends >>>>>>> Great to hear the two on a track together but can't say I'm completely wowed like I thought I'd be. Also not keen on him using the same sample as on 'New God Flow' (which I FAR prefer to this, although obvs early days). |
