the lead singer of Frightened Rabbit has been found dead by police. He had been missing for the last couple days
and everyone was expecting the worst since he had past problems with depression http://metro.co.uk/2018/05/11/scott-hutchi...police-7538616/ was one of the most underrated UK bands from the last years, saw them live last year and they were great. probably no one will talk about him, as he was not on the same league as dolores o'riordan or aviccii but I think it's a tragic loss too |

I saw a post on Facebook this morning by the band appealing to find him.
This is so sad :/ |

I remember 'Backyard Skulls' from Radio 1 nighttime back in 2012 and I liked it.
Awful and very sad news, RIP |

Oh no read about him going missing last night, really hoped it wouldn't end like this. RIP Scott
The Modern Leper and The Woodpile are my favourites from what i've heard of them |

So heartbreaking. Floating in The Forth really hits hard.

Awful news, it is quite worrying how increasingly common that suicide in young people is becoming today. : (
They were a great band, saw them live at Latitude in 2016 - their songs gave me a lot of joy and it is so incredibly sad to hear about Scott. My faves were Swim Until You Can't See Land, The Woodpile and It's Christmas So We'll Stop. |

It made me so sad on Friday. They aren't a band I'd ever listened to until their last album, the singles were all great and I've listened to it loads. Read so many glowing tributes it's amazing to see what an effect he/they had on people, certainly going to be listening to more FR now.

'The Midnight Organ Fight' was probably the second or third album I really listened to to death. I fell in love with the morose lyrics and Scott's harsh voice. It was one of those albums where I really felt like what he was singing was directly about me and it gave me a lot of comfort during a time when I wasn't particularly happy. He was always really honest about his battles with depression and the difficulties that it caused him in his life. It's probably the first time that I've ever felt a sense of personal upset or loss about the death of someone I didn't know.
As someone mentioned before, the lyrics to 'Floating in the Forth' are particularly pertinent (and eerie) to listen to now. Rest in peace, and thank you, Scott. |

I remember listening to one of their songs from Painting Of A Panic Attack on Spotify back in Spring 2016. I remember liking it at the time.
I now have a CD of POAPA that I may listen to sometime this month if I have the time |
