03. Love Yourself
04. Where Are Ü Now
05. As Long As You Love Me

Posted by: SamJudd 30th August 2017, 04:13 AM

Think that 'Love Yourself' may win this..

Posted by: John-James 30th August 2017, 08:45 AM

Surely Sorry will win, I mean its often considered his best

Posted by: Josh! 30th August 2017, 08:49 AM

Excited for this ! I think Sorry will win for sure with perhaps Cold Water or Where Are U Now in the other medal positions, they seem like his most liked features to me.

I'm hoping all of his early stuff doesn't just come last though. One Time is an absolute bop and Never Say Never is probably in my top three of his along with Sorry and Beauty and a Beat so I hope they all do well here too.

Posted by: HausofSZA 30th August 2017, 08:52 AM

I suspect Sorry will win with a huge average score! Hoping As Long As You Love Me can make the top 5 too wub.gif

28 3.30 U Smile

Receiving -1s from Jade and Rob, U Smile was a clear contender for last place from the early rates alone, receiving a bunch of average scores. My own score of 8 was its highest, in fact! The song was released as a single from My World 2.0, and failed to make much of an impact on the charts worldwide. In fact, its UK peak of #98 was achieved when My Worlds (the UK got My World 2.0 combined with the original My World release on one disc) got released in the UK, and it didn't make the top 100 at all upon single release. Personally I think it's a shame this is so low, it's not an absolute Bieber classic but not his worst either!

Posted by: John-James 30th August 2017, 01:57 PM

Not one of his best lets just say heehee.gif

Posted by: Jade 30th August 2017, 02:02 PM

Perfect last place with it being my -1. Such a drab song!

Posted by: JosephStyles 30th August 2017, 03:15 PM

27 4.29 Pray

It didn't make the top 100 in the UK, or make much of an impact on any chart in fact, but Pray is lyrically one of the more important songs Justin has written. Justin wrote it with the intention of making a motivational record, and was inspired by Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror. It was taken as the only single from My Worlds Acoustic, and charted at #112 in the UK and #61 in the US. The majority of its scores were fairly average, with no -1s but also nothing above an 8 (once again given by me, and also Jáhq, dat #JJ impact).

Posted by: HausofSZA 30th August 2017, 03:20 PM

Bye and bye

Posted by: Meatball Cody 30th August 2017, 03:25 PM

I remember hating U Smile for a good amount of time and it hit me once it became a single. Didn't do too much in the end but it's good to reminisce. Pray was also pretty boring and scored low for me so not much of a loss here. I feel like it going to get real.

Really excited to see what the rest of the results are! My sister and I own everything up to Believe and then a vinyl of Purpose and it will be nice to go back through it all tongue.gif

Posted by: J▲hq 30th August 2017, 06:51 PM

"U Smile" wasn't my lowest score (how is the will.i.am collab still in xx) but I do find it rather cringe - and I say that as a huge fan of Baby & Eenie Meenie kink.gif

"Pray" is lovely and deserved a fair bit better cry.gif

Posted by: John-James 30th August 2017, 07:07 PM

A cute little song but nothing extraordinary

Posted by: SamJudd 30th August 2017, 10:40 PM

Neither these surprise me, 'U Smile' isn't very good in my opinion, when he's singing it, sounds like 'U Smell' to me, dunno if anybody else has noticed this. 'Pray' isn't too bad to be honest, just find it kinda forgettable.

Also think that '#thatPOWER' may drop soon, another dire Will.i.am production.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 31st August 2017, 10:58 AM

#thatPOWER is infinitely superior to anything pre-Believe. (and all of the Journals stuff)

26 5.02 One Less Lonely Girl

This is one I'm quite upset about, if unsurprised. One Less Lonely Girl was released as Justin's second single, following on from global hit One Time. In the UK, it failed to make much of an impact at all, only hitting #62 to follow up the #11 peak of One Time, but in the US, it was a much more substantial hit, peaking at #16 and being certified 3x Platinum. It's no surprise that once again, I gave this its highest score laugh.gif it got a 10 from me but numerous scores below 5 have dragged its average down significantly.

Posted by: Calum Hood 31st August 2017, 04:04 PM

One Less Lonely Girl is fab, definitely shouldn't be this far down sad.gif

Posted by: John-James 31st August 2017, 06:40 PM

One Less Lonely Girl is one of the better singles from My World. I much prefer it to One Time

Posted by: Josh! 31st August 2017, 08:39 PM

Poor U Smile, it's way better than the two above it (now that I've actually heard Pray which I wish I hadn't really) and not deserving of last in any way. One Time better be high tbh, young Bieber is already getting too much hate here sad.gif

Posted by: Jay ☆ 1st September 2017, 07:18 PM

Young Bieber is getting all he deserves tbh

Posted by: HausofSZA 2nd September 2017, 11:58 AM

Yeah no losses so far!

25 5.19 Mistletoe

The only single released from Under the Mistletoe proves not to be a big Buzzjack favourite, finishing with an average just over 5 in this rate. Mistletoe was released in October 2011 and peaked at #21 in the UK, falling out of the top 40 the week after. However, with the help of an X Factor performance and of course the approaching Christmas period, it returned to the top 40 for a few weeks later in the year. Last year, it re-entered the top 100 for the first time since its original release!

Posted by: John-James 5th September 2017, 07:21 AM

Misteltoe is cute, I still remember watching the X-Factor performance like it was yesterday

Posted by: JosephStyles 6th September 2017, 04:13 PM

24 5.21 Next to You (Chris Brown feat. Justin Bieber)

Justin's first feature was a moderate hit in the charts, peaking in the top 15 in the UK and #26 in the US. It's fared less well here, being his lowest collaboration and only marginally ahead of Mistletoe, but not enough to avoid the bottom 5. It received a -1 from Joe, and my lowest score too, but a 10 from Jonjo helped it out.

Posted by: HarryEzra 6th September 2017, 04:15 PM

Next to you is not half bad tbh.

Posted by: Josh! 6th September 2017, 04:18 PM

Not too bothered about this lot dropping out now. Mistletoe is probably one of my least favourites by him, it's just a bit too cheesy laugh.gif I can't imagine 2017 Bieber doing anything like that song nowadays, he's definitely matured as an artist! ohmy.gif

Posted by: HausofSZA 6th September 2017, 05:46 PM

Mistletoe is cute. Next To You is cringe (like a fair bit of CB's stuff)

Posted by: Separate 6th September 2017, 10:10 PM

Everything out so far I either gave 7 or less to biggrin.gif

All That Matters is still in which I gave 5.5 for but I think iirc it's fairly popular on here; it sadly doesn't go anywhere for me. I'm also ready for Confident to go soon as I gave it 6.5 although i can say the same for that too laugh.gif

Can't believe those and All Around The World are the only ones left I gave below an 8 to ohmy.gif

Posted by: Jade 7th September 2017, 12:22 AM

I have a soft spot for 'Mistletoe' tbh. Especially as it doesn't get played to death during the festive season like the classics laugh.gif

Posted by: AdamAloud 8th September 2017, 03:13 PM

Good results so far!

Posted by: John-James 8th September 2017, 05:17 PM

Still nothing major out so far. Next To You is a bop

23 5.48 Eeenie Meenie (Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber)

Sorry for the delay guys, let's pick up the pace biggrin.gif

The slaughtering of early Justin continues as we lose the first top 10 hit in the countdown. Eenie Meenie was Justin's second top 10 in the UK, following Baby, and is a collaboration with Beautiful Girls singer Sean Kingston. As you can see above, the artwork is big budget - WordArt font, hideous airbrushing on Sean, and his body vanishes behind the text unlike Justin's :') In the rate, it received one 10, given to it at the last moment by Jáhq. Three zeros dragged it down from Adam, Davidson and Aly.

That single cover rotf.gif

It's not that bad imo apart from the lyrics and cover I guess

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 18th September 2017, 08:27 PM

Nothing redeemable about that song whatsoever.

Posted by: HausofSZA 22nd September 2017, 05:36 PM

So bad.

The single cover too, I can't deal.

When's the next update? biggrin.gif

Ennie Meanie is iconic purely for the wordart single cover.

More results coming in a week's time guys, when I'm on half term!!!

22 5.66 All That Matters

And we're back!! First up is the first 'proper' single from Justin's compilation album Journals. It was released as the second promotional single from the Music Mondays releases and charted at #20 in the UK and #24 in the US, but unlike Confident, it failed to make a resurgance following the music video's release. It's not one of my favourite Journals tracks really, it's nice but didn't deserve to be any higher than this!

21 5.71 Live My Life (Far East Movement feat. Justin Bieber)

Giving Justin only his fourth UK top 10, Live My Life was released in 2012 after a long build-up and managed to peak at #7 in the UK. It was a collaboration with American group Far East Movement, who scored their second top 10 hit (out of two), after Like a G6. It dropped pretty quickly and has ended up quite forgotten I think, but the music video was always being played on the music channels (annoyingly though, they only showed the video for the Party Rock remix with RedFoo).

Posted by: Sonia Fowler 22nd October 2017, 12:44 PM

Live My Life is a proper bop!!

Posted by: John-Maims 💀 22nd October 2017, 05:35 PM

I can't stand All That Matters, one of the worst on the album sick2.gif

Live My Life is a bop. Justin's ad libs give me life
