I also agree, I liked Dedicated but it didn't have the replay value over time that I was hoping for. This is already a much better album than the A Side after two listens.

My rate as it stands:

10.0 - This Love Isn't Crazy
06.0 - Window
07.0 - Felt This Way
09.5 - Stay Away
08.5 - This Is What They Say
08.0 - Heartbeat
10.0 - Summer Love
09.5 - Fake Mona Lisa
04.0 - Let's Sort The Whole Thing Out
09.0 - Comeback
08.5 - Solo
10.0 - Now I Don't Hate California After All

09.0 This Love Isn't Crazy
06.0 Window
06.0 Felt This Way
09.0 Stay Away
08.0 This Is What They Say
03.5 Heartbeat
08.0 Summer Love
09.0 Fake Mona Lisa
08.0 Let's Sort The Whole Thing Out
09.0 Comeback
08.0 Solo
06.0 Now I Don't Hate California After All

It's def better then Part A (Want You In My Room, Happy Not Knowing & Party For One are the only tracks I return to from that). Though I do feel it also helps that I went in with extremely high expectations for Part A whereas my first expectations for Part B weren't too high aha kink.gif

This is such an enjoyable album, I'm super happy with it! wub.gif For a collection of songs that are outtakes, it's really strong. Carly is so consistently great. There's plenty of tracks here that were more instant for me than those on Dedicated (which I love too).

A huge highlight for me is Comeback, it really hits me in the feels... its mood is very wistful. It's probably my favourite track out of all them. "I was thinking about making a comeback... back to me" is just great.

Solo and This Love Isn't Crazy are single worthy bops, amongst her very best tracks! Summer Love and Fake Mona Lisa are fantastic too.

I enjoy how Felt This Way / Stay Away share many of the same lyrics, yet they evoke totally different feelings. Pretty clever!

The album closer Now I Don't Hate California After All is surely one of the most interesting songs she's ever released, it's very different for her. This is one to listen to with earphones in, the production really washes over you! It's beautiful.

There's honestly nothing I dislike. Window and Let's Sort the Whole Thing Out are probably my least favourites, yet they're still cute and listenable (the latter in particular gets stuck in my head).

She's just so damn good heart.gif

I ordered a signed CD and two cassettes, one grey and one purple (why just buy one unnecessary format when you can have two of them x There's actually 4 cassettes but maybe that's a step too far lol). I have my eye on getting a vinyl but unfortunately they're only available in the US as things stand, and I'm not here for the postage price/possible custom charge heehee.gif

I can see why these tracks didn't make the album, as they're quite alt-pop/leftfield sounding compared to the album's central 80s synthpop vibe.

I would replace about 3-4 tracks on the actual album with some of these though.

I only like 3-4 of the songs on b side but wasn’t a big fan of the main album.

I agree that this is a better album than Side A! Solo, Summer Love and This Love Isn't Crazy are the standout tracks from my first listen biggrin.gif

Dedicated Side B is midweek #156 in the UK, with 540 sales (86 physicals, 153 downloads, 301 streaming).

My CD/Cassettes order from her official store hasn't been dispatched yet, I assume that's the case for most people... so hopefully that explains why her physical sales are so low at the moment.

In yesterday's midweeks she had 84 physicals showing up, all of them being CDs. She has 4 different cassettes available to buy. I hope her physical data is submitted in time for Friday so she has a possible chance of charting Top 100!

How is she even managing to make her label money?

Is scooter still her manager?

A lot of artists like her make a ton from touring and merchandise- it’s how Kim Petras, Tove Lo, Carly etc (the gays sweethearts) stay afloat and are able to constantly release music

It entered at #42 in the end!

1,801 sales [1,129 physicals | 170 downloads | 502 streaming]

Total sales: 1,949 (148 sold on its release date of Thursday 21st May, which was presumably just downloads). She would have charted at #39 if she'd released it the day after (with the assumption that it would have sold the same amount in 7 days that it sold over 8 days).

Her physical sales are strong enough to see her enter at #9 in the Physical Albums chart! #11 in the Album Sales chart.

Personally I count it as a single; I'm not sure why those who edit her Wikipedia wouldn't consider it as a single!

A couple of leaks:

I'm amazed that Disco Darling wasn't considered worthy for Dedicated or Side B, it's excellent! wub.gif Favourite Night is very nice too, apparently it's from the Emotion era.

'Disco Darling' is fantastic! How did that become a reject/not make those albums? WTH...

'Favourite Night' is okay, but I can kinda see why that didn't make the 'Emotion' album, however, I feel like it'd work well amongst the 'Dedicated' era?

They were absolutely crazy to discard 'Disco Darling', that is BRILLIANT! Probably better than most of Dedicated even. I hope it gets made available somehow.
