Off to Germany for a week and need some shows to download! Flying via Amsterdam so have a layover to kill and my flight is at 5:55am tomorrow so f*** all will be open in Manchester Airport to entertain me (not that T3 is any good). So hit me with your recommendations and a lil reason why you think I should give them a bash!

I'll list some of the shows I love to help ya out a bit:

Bones, Will & Grace, Charmed, Gilmore Girls, Suits, Brooklyn 99, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, The Good Place, Jane The Virgin, No Offence, Raised By Wolves, Awkward, NCIS, CSI, Veep, The Thick of it

Anything I can download to my iPad from Netflix/Prime/All4/iPlayer would be champion!

(hope to turn this into a general "help me I need something to watch thread" so feel free to pitch in with your own requests!)

If you're into your late night Channel 4 sitcoms, then Derry Girls is worth a watch. Haven't seen it myself, but everyone I know thinks it's hilarious.

I also insist on flying the flag for Yes (Prime) Minister, one of the funniest satirical comedies ever created. It doesn't fit exactly with your outlined tastes, but is something everyone should watch.

I've heard good things about Derry Girls too! Will have to give that a download.

Ooops I missed out Veep and The Thick of It! I do enjoy satirical comedies so I will check it out. What platform is it on?

Also, I can't remember whether you've watched Homeland or not, but if you haven't then the first 3 seasons are essential viewing.

The entire lot's on Netflix. Yes Minister comes first, then Yes Prime Minister.

Omg you'd absolutely LOVE Crazy Ex Girlfriend, it's a musical comedy by Rachel Bloom where she's obsessed with her ex from summer camp when she was 15 laugh.gif

I do indeed! I'm only on like the 3rd episode though so should probably make a more active effort to watch it because it's hilarious
