Chart Commentary
Madonna remains at No.1 for a fourth week running, with ‘Sorry’, Orson and The Feeling continue their climb up the chart, to Nos 2 & 3. With the departure of the irreplaceably feisty founder member Mutya Buena with Amelle Berrabah, a 21 year old from Hampshire, the chart topping Sugababes are on a mission to prove they are still the fiercest girls in pop with the release of the undeniably new catchy single 'Red Dress', climbing a further 8 places to no.4. Kelly Clarkson returns to her hard rocking best with her new single 'Walk Away' climbing 5 places up the chart at No.9. Taken from her award winning album 'Breakaway', which has become an international sensation, 'Walk Away' speaks out to anyone who is continual disappointed by their loved one, delivered with all the angst and attitude the American Idol can muster. The highest new entry of 4 comes from Embrace 'Nature's Law' is the first single lifted from indie veterans Embrace's forthcoming album 'This New Day', the first new material since their 2004 "comeback" album, 'Out Of Nothing', truly awesome, great lyrics, great vocals, a spine tingling performance. Joey Negro, Ne*Yo and The Foo Fighters make up the rest of the new entries inside the top 40.
