The X Factor final airs this Saturday night on ITV at 19:05pm from The ExCel centre. It concludes on Sunday night from 19:15pm.
The finalists -
Rat-Su
Grace Davies
Kevin Davy White
Duets TBC.
Guest performers: P!nk, Little Mix/CNCO, Louis Tomlinson, Sam Smith, PrettyMuch
Tellymix WHO DO YOU WANT TO WIN poll -
1 - Rat-Su 37.59% (627 votes)
2 - Grace Davies 32.61% (544 votes)
3 - Kevin Davy White 29.8% (497 votes)
The poll results are actually a lot closer than I imagined Our Saara topped last years Tellymix poll and we all know what happened there
I expect Rak-Su will win and hope this is the case as they are obviously the most popular act this year and stand the biggest chance of being Simon's next money grabber.
Rak-Su will almost certainly do a Fleur East and have one milked out hit, I can see it They are certainly going to win though.
This is potentially one of the best final 3s ever, not a fan of Rak-Su but it’s the most relevant and talented as a whole probably since the 2010 series (Matt/Rebecca/1D/Cher).
I can’t really predict the winner either, not sure Rak-Su quite have it in the bag. I think Grace could win if she makes the Sunday as Roots if she does it is the strongest original song of the series. But if the rumoured duet for Kevin happens then I think he’ll push Grace out on the Saturday leaving Rak-Su the ultimate advantage of an original winners single whereas Kevin will probably have a cover.
Saara Alto did really well to get 2nd, but she should have won over Matt Terry really. He had no personality around him and only an ok voice.
Rak-Su to win so I can get my hands on a debut single now (and they've got the best chance of an official #1) (provided they're not forced to perform a ballad as the winner's single )
All three deserve to be there though, I'd be here for a shock Kevin win.
https://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/the-x-factor/341940-x-factor-2017-someone-just-bet-5000-rak-su-winning.html
Whoa. That person is gonna have some serious anxiety when Dermot is all "and the winner IS........"
Tellymix poll to win -
Rat-Su 38.5% (822 votes)
Grace Davies 32.51% (694 votes)
Kevin Davy White 28.99% (619 votes)
EDIT (30/11) -
Rat-Su 39.62% (929 votes)
Grace Davies 31.47% (738 votes)
Kevin Davy White 28.91% (678 votes)
Roots is really bland though... I genuinely don't get the mass hysteria behind it. Pretty much every other one of her originals have been superior.
This year they should have taken the Popstars approach and released originals from all 3 finalists and let the chart battle decide
God I want Kevin to win SO much.
Rat-Su and Grace are gonna be signed either way.
I'm not sure why people think Nicole duetting with Kevin will get him through - her past duets have also been shoe ins for the finale anyway.
Matt went into the final on the back of a sing-off, I think without the Nicole duet he’d have been out on the Saturday. Kevin and Nicole would just suit each other perfectly anyway!
Saturday's performances -
Grace is performing "Roots" + "Live and Let Die"
Kevin is performing "Whole Lotta Love" and "Fastlove, Pt 1"
Rat-Su are performing "Mamacita" + "Dimelo"
Kevin won’t be going then... bye Grace
Live and Let Die is a very random song choice
Simon on This Morning admitting that he's struggled to sign any big names
Apparently Roots, Fastlove and Mamacita are reserved for the final and they will only do a new song and a duet tomorrow.
It's really all down to the duets this year.
I have a feeling Kevin could win if he gets to Sunday and performs Fastlove.
I’m going to put £5 on Kevin. He’s 9/1. There’s no way he’d not win if he gets through and performs Fast Love.
From another forum -
Becky Hill is opening the show on Saturday apparently, interesting that someone from The Voice has got herself some kind of slot.
Good on Becky Hill! I love her voice, she deserves appreciation.
Even if this show is complete trash now and full of talentless nobodies.
Becky will be with Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra to promote their album presumably? Good for them.
Also, pretty much all those instances had the obvious winners anyway so uptempo or ballad it wasn't gonna make a difference. At the time I did fear R&B could snatch it, Saara I thought could win (but I don't thonk it was really singing uptempo that damaged her, it was probably the more casual voters coming in for the final and preferring the bland traditonally X Factor attractive male with a nice voice) and I had blind hope for Fleur I suppose but for the others it was obvious that who won would win, as much as Saara, Fleur and Olly should have won.
I really can't see past Rak-Su storming this but I would love to be wrong, they'll get their wrung out one hit wonder anyway.
Steve Brookstein - (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher & Higher
Leon Jackson - Better the Devil You Know
Joe McElderry - Don't Stop Believin'
Matt Cardle - Firework
James Arthur - Feeling Good
Those all sound terrible, especially Matt Cardle!
People are also saying Rat-Su may not do well in a flash vote. Here's hoping!
I'm guessing the winners track hasn't been announced yet, all 3 must have recorded it. I'm assuming we all have to wait till Sunday for the reveal.
So a cover ://
Flash votes didn't stop them winning before...
I thought they were referencing flash votes but no.
From the same forum -
Yah and people on Buzzjack thought it would be an all girl finale when they were nearly the first category to be wiped out!!
Tokio Myers is doing one of the duets - I assume that'll be with Kevin?
Well that could be quite spectacular if so!
He tweeted it and then deleted it So yeah, definitely happening.
If it's Tokio Myers then I presume the song will be 'Bloodstream', which would suit Kevin more than anything, and I presume Nicole will be on stage with him too seeing as Tokio does not sing.
Fingers crossed for Rak-Su, but I do think it'll all be down to performance on the night.
Any idea on who the guest performers are tonight? Looking forward to Little Mix & CNCO
Please can guests and song choices go in the spoiler thread? It's not that difficult...
Christ almighty
EDIT: I'm thinking Tokio can get Kevin to Sunday at least! Which is where he'll perform Fastlove..
I think he could do this!
Tonight's show starts at 7:05pm, in case some people decide to switch the TV around 8pm
Kevin has THE best performance of the series, so better for him to win than teenage girl-driven Rak Su
Omfg listening to Roots again and WOW!!!
It's a shame we'll only get to hear Roots if Grace gets through tonight's show
And with the teenage girl vote and Kevin's duets and cheap Nicole feature, I doubt it
Little Mix are performing tomorrow! I think P!nk and Sam are too.
I assume it'll just be PRETTYMUCH tonight.
PrettyMuch and Becky Hill
Wow
Now rumours that Tokio is performing with a non-contestant, so maybe Becky or Louis?
Somebody isn't happy about their X-Factor duet, which means either Grace or Kevin because the producers really want the others to win -
https://twitter.com/TheJamesIngham/status/937021731180605442?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thisisbigbrother.com%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D331574
https://www.ok.co.uk/tv/the-x-factor/1245430/the-x-factor-kevin-davy-white-hints-nicole-scherzinger-duet-sing-final-who-won-winner-grace-rak-su
Kev hinting he has Nicole!
Oop, must have given Grace someone bad - wonder if they dress her as a Sesame Street char again!
"duetting with some of the biggest names in pop"
lmao this voiceover woman is too much
I'm watchin Strictly
Can the app be downloaded on a conputer?? Me phone has ne space
Watch Grace get Becky Hill
Voting open already? Wtf
Grace w Paloma Faith
Rak-Su w Wyclef Jean (!)
Kevin w Tokio
Pete Tong and his Orchestra should win tonight.
Voting has always been open from the start in the finals hasn't it? They get more money this way.
No surprise at Rak-Su being last. I assume to benefit from the voting being open longer for those conspiracy theorists among us...
Grace sounding really good on 'You've Git the Love' tbh.
So now I'm reading the duets are the winners singles. RakSu and Wyclef Jean, Grace and Paloma Faith, Kevin and Tokio Myers
I'm guessing that Nicole won't be imploring the UK to "vote for their own" this year like she did at last year's final...
Kevin 05.0
His worst performance yet I think!
5 app votes to Kevin already.
He's phenomenal, leagues ahead of everyone else.
God Kevin is f***ing amazing. 9/10
SO excited to see his collab with Tokio. It could be something really special.
I liked Kevin's performance but he should sing current songs.
01. Kevin - Whole Lotta Love
He has a great voice etc.. but I dunno, it kinda felt a bit weak? Like, it wasn't bad or mediocre, it was just very... ehhh. He's done farrrr better/more polished and fulfilling performances.
06.5 out of 10
Maybe its juts me atm feeling really tired and feeling like I can't be bothered about this final haha.
I'm on the same level as Jonjo, I was split 50/50 over it. Had better performances
That was painful. I feel like Grace is coming 3rd unless her duet saves her; she definitely should do after that anyway.
That didn't work at ALL :/
They’re sabotaging her
I didn't like this odd song choice, I hope she's not in the final night.
I just felt Grace's performance was a bit underwhelming, that track has been covered so many times on the X Factor, totally wrong song choice for her.
These intros are just too long
I felt exactly the same about that performance as I did with Kevin's.
So yeah. I'm tuning out now lol. Mehhhhhhh.
I shall watch tomorrow. For Little Mix and P!nk obvz 😂😂
Rak-Su for shock third place plz
This Mamacita song makes me depressed. Simply awful.
Ew I don't like any of those tomorrow!!
I was expecting something different from them tonight, their tracks all sound too samey, listening to that week on week it can be quite annoying, again another underwhelming performance.
Do something different ffs
For me:
Kevin 7.0
Grace 4.0
Rak-Su 3.0
Forgettable show so far.
I hear Havana in Mamacita
Grace 08.0
Kevin 05.0
Rak-Su 00.0
I'm 100% here for the Grace and Paloma Duet.
Even got Dermot trying to manipulate it for them - only reason Grace didn't do originals every live show is because she has done it from the start!!
PrettyCheap now.
Is it me that Simon, just didn't know the title of the track
Pretty Much are shit
What is happening, is this like an interval tv show or something??
oh CHRIST this band are atrocious
Wait is this still X Faccy??
Who are these - X Faccy junior winners? Why is the audience asleep?
Where's Joseph? I think he liked that #longhairdon'tcare boy.
EDIT: Oh dear, Mamacita in the lyrics too.
PRETTYCRAP
If anyone wants evidence of how far The X Factor has fallen.. this is it!
The crowd
I don't know what the audience were watching but that was PRETTYAWFUL
So I decided to stay tuned (and not take it so seriously) but...
I actually low key loved that PRETTYMUCH song
My 5 app votes went to Kevin of course.
Wait??? So the duet will be their winner's single? Did I hear wrong?
So they don't even get their own winner's single anymore ?
The sleeping audience though
Featuring Nicole or only Tokio?
Absolute fix
They want Grace out
#fixfactor
Not a fan of Kevin's cover of 'Fast Love' though, it's one of my least favourites of his this series so I'm upset this would his winner's single.
Expected more having Tokio by his side
Oops, he ruined it, his first time was much better
CHILLS
It was a ‘moment’ when he first did it, but this time it was boring af. This should get him through to tomorrow though.
I liked much more the first time, but even so, it was good.
Gonna ring and vote after that!
Roots!!!!
Paloma's gonna ruin Roots then
Can imagine Paloma not suiting Roots at all but we'll see...
(this has all been so boring so far btw)
OMGG ROOTS WITH PALOMA!!!!
CHILLS
Their voices don't even match at all.
Paloma does not suit this at all
wtf is paloma even singing
They don't like
Hopefully she releases the solo version!
Oh that was great!
Grace with crocodile tears to put her into the final night.
That was stunning. That song had so much more power once you could hear the backing more.
Yup CHILLS!!!
Roots is a good song, that would definitely be a hit although I'd rather have a version without Paloma
their voices didn't mesh AT ALL I'm still legit laughing after that and it's a shame because I adore Roots
DUETS
11.0 Grace Davies & Paloma Faith
03.0 Kevin Davy White & Tokio Myers
Probably better for her not to win after that tbh. She'll be able to release a Paloma-less version
I quite like Roots it works better with a solo artist though, I don't think Paloma added anything much to it.
As for Kevin's, it was alright but it didn't click with me, as Roots did.
"who the f*** booked paloma faith? she ruined my song "
Grace and Paloma was a hugely special moment, given me goosebumps they sounded great and had such brilliant chemistry! She simply MUST win after that
Duets
Paloma Grace 15/10
Kevin 03/10 - his original was 11/10 too ://
OMG THISSSS! Kevin was so boring tonight.
They get 2?!
Why do they get 2??
#fixfactoe
FIX
This will be their winners single? Ugh
This is AWFUL
#fixfactor
Wow this is revolting!
Omg when did he go bald??
Poor Shakira
WAIT!
NAUGHTY BOY HAS A SONG WITH ELLA EYRE!?!?!?
Oh. Rak-Su performing 2 songs that they've already performed before on the show? How original of them 🙃
Think imma give Grace my 5 votes tbh. Although I feel like Dimelo might actually become a guilty pleasure 🙃
Who are all these people?? Fix.
Omg at all the girls screamin
I've given my votes to Grace. I think she is simply the most talented out of the lot, I'd definitely consider getting an album by her based upon the songs she's written so far.
That was their worst original and a terrible performance, they REALLY want them to win though lmao
DUETS
11.0 Grace x Paloma
03.5 Rak-Su x 1038 others
03.0 Kevin x Tokio
The clear manipulation for Rak-Su is UNREAL, but at least it will get The X Factor another huge hit winners single.
Kevin was worst of the night by a mile, but I can see the order going...
01 Rak-Su
02 Kevin
03 Grace
It's EMBARRASSING how much the producers want them to win
Kevin was clearly the best, Grace was alright but Roots was totally ruined, and Rat-Su were their normal atrocious selves :/
Imagine if Rat-Su came 3rd. I'd CRY.
Duets
Grace 7.0
Kevin 6.0
Rak-Su 5.0
Even so, I still want Kevin going through though.
The bookies are pretty much confirming Kevin as 3rd he is 1/5 leave next
Can a few of us take a chill pill please?? Let's respect each other's opinions!
Rak-Su were terrible tonight, I'm really surprised Wyclef Jean offered his services to Rak-Su
I hope Kevin goes, then hopefully the order tomorrow is Rak-Su / Grace
God I REALLY want Rat-Su to go!!
X Factor really is a joke this year.
I remember when the final the thread would probably get 40 pages.
Idk who Louis wants to be, all of his songs sound totally different 😂
Also kevin to leave tonight pls
Wtf is Louis wearing
Oh dear @ this song :/
Louis' song is not bad at all.
this sounds like a Busted b-side and his vocals are enrique iglesias-level
Simon FUMING that Louis is supporting Kev over Rat-Su
This is so 00's indie pop punk..
Is he literally recording anything and seeing what sticks?
He's so awful and weak as a vocalist... it really baffles me as to how he is as popular as he is due to 1D.
Need to listen to the studio version, but I think I'd like it!
THAT VIGINETTE THING. *.*
Basically a promo for Little Queens. I'm here for it!!
Because THAT wasn't predictable at all
I want Grace to come 2nd and Rak-Su to win
oh really wanted rak-su gone, they're so bad
can't believe the awful Dimelo is gonna be their winner singer
it's like written by a 4-year old
hope Grace wins
Byyyyeeeee Kevin
I can see a Grace win tbh.
Maybe Grace is more popular than we all thought then...
Yeah I'm not gonna bother watching tomorrow. If Rat-Su win over Grace I'll be absolutely fuming so I'm not gonna put myself through it
Kevin had to go, he was so much worse than Grace or Rak-Su tonight.
I definitely want Grace to win but I like Rak-Su too, I'm just glad that we'll have a great winner either way!
https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/5052484/the-x-factor-viewers-accuse-rak-su-of-being-given-an-unfair-advantage-as-they-get-to-duet-with-two-stars/
Ugh Kevin beating the talentless Rat-Su would have been iconic
Like Fleur beating Andrea and Saara being 5am
I mean Naughty Boy literally seemed to stand there and compose a few emails
Yeah why was he so sweaty? He didn't move
Really want Grace to win.
My 5 votes are going for Grace.
Voted for Grace but she ain't gonna win is she
The overnight should benefit Grace! It’s definitely all to play for.
It’s like when Saara won Saturday (like Rak-Su probably have), then Matt overtook overnight.
Plus I’d say that the Kevin voters will cross over to Grace
Never know she could, She is singing two original songs tomorrow I think. (Sharon said on loose women earlier in week she be doing 3 originals in final and 1 cover) She could sneak in at moment looks like she doesn't have chance but never say never.
What are Rak-Su singing?
I thought Grace would have performed "Roots" on the Sunday - with a huge choir and everything It would have been such a moment.
As shite as they are it's not like Naughty Boy added anything extra to give them advantage
So are Paloma etc... performing again tomorrow?
I hope Grace wins tomorrow, I preferred her Roots performance over Live and Let Die, I didn't really think Kevin's performances were good enough tonight, and Rak-Su tracks they all sound the same to me, but deep down I think Rak-Su seem to be the likely winners.
Ah shame Kevin left but it was to be expected. I agree his solo version of Fastlove was incredible & definitely one of my faves this year but I liked the Tokio collab too. Whole Lotta Love was just the token final opener song.
Liked both of Grace's performances too, not all that keen on Roots as a song but it worked well as a perf.
As for Rak-Su I'm not fussed on Mamacita but Dimelo is actually an absolute tune, so glad that will be THE X-Factor winner's single of 2017!
Is Roots up on iTunes to buy?
Interesting show, wasn't expecting the duets being the winner's singles twist!
I would've preferred a solo version of Roots but I think what happened tonight would've got Grace more votes than if she'd done it solo, the tears moment at the end was a massive vote winner I'd imagine. I thought Live and Let Die worked really well actually, allowed Grace to show the strength of her voice (she's more Diana than she is Janet/Abi Alton etc in terms of quirky singers) and meant Simon could get in the strong singer comment. That could mean the Kevin votes will transfer to Grace for the strong singer reason.
I could still see Grace snatching it, all depends on the song choices. If we get reprises of Too Young and Hesitate/Wolves for example versus Rak-Su reprises of Mona Lisa/I'm Feeling You then I think the former will appeal to that final-watching audience. It's definitely closer than the odds would suggest anyway.
Yeah that's true, they've done their crowd pleasers although they all sound the same anyway so nobody will know the difference lmao
Yeah, if Grace did Wolves —> Too Young —> Roots Duet then I reckon she’ll win it?
Omg at Cowell lookin like he'd been SLAPPED when Louis said he wantrd Kevin to win!!
Be some screamin backstge toneet - I TOLD you who to say!!
Well I guess the TWO most successful acts ever from X Faccy have been groups.
Grace's duet with Paloma was insanely good literal chills from it I want her to win now.
Rak-Su *sigh* I wanna like them but I find it a bit eh they performed two originals that we know already. At least with Grace we have only heard Roots in the Audition and that's it.
Kevin was disappointing imo.
Omg he was so sweaty tho!!
It's not really unfair disadvantage tho its not like Naughty Boy did anything in the same way Wyclef Jean did He just played the Piano.
They got two acts and then a BUNCH of random Justin Beiber dancers on stage - PLUS I honestly think their harmonies were touched up - either a backing track, digital trickery, or back up singer reliance.
It is obviously veery clearly manipulated for them.
It is pretty transparent there are GAGGING for Rak-Su to win, and that puts me off them even more They're also just ot that talented, but their songs are catchy enough. Like I've said already, they feel like they'd have 2 hits in 2011 rather than winning X Factor in 2017. Idg why the producers are SO moist for them and are so desperate for them to win Like I bet they scrambled for another songwriting prize when RakSu did't win the first one. I mean I guess it's the money signs because Rak-Su have been selling on iTunes, but there's a difference between taking off because 5 million are watching and having actual hits later.
This has been pretty much the most obvious series ever, I thought from the start Rak-Su or Grace would win. Kevin came as a bit of a surprise but after Smooth he was obviously a contender. I guess Cutkelvins lasted a bit longer than I thought but other than that I could pretty much call how thing went. I'm not expecting it to be anthng different tomorrow so Rak-Su will win. Yet again an interesting female act with artistry loses out to the generic male option (Rebecca, Saara, Fleur).
I mean...when Rat-Su had finished performing and Louis was standing with his arm around Sharon, looking like they were in awe. It's like...you ain't just watched Bey and Alex finish 'Listen'. Serious second-hand embarrassment
Just a dreadful, dreadful series. Outside of Grace and Kevin, the talent has been pretty dire. The changes to the format (getting rid of deadlock/getting rid of more than one contestant/the whole contestants getting prizes THING) have been brutal, and its just been a bit all over the place - bootcamp felt like it went on for MONTHS.
I'll always watch it because I love music but they really need to give the show a rest for a few years imo.
Rak-Su's backing track will no doubt be at maximum volume tomorrow, complete with 500 dancers, celebrity endorsements and a close up of Simon crying euphoric tears.
They will be dusting off the Big Bird costume for Grace again. I expect she will still win though-really don't think the "older generation" vote that is out in force on final night will be going for Rak-Su no matter how much Simon wants it. They only won the prize fight once despite maximum hype and closing the show every week after all.
Nicole and Louis have been unbearable this series.
Louis is so full of shit, like he says every thing is going to be a hit.. when quite frankly it probably wouldn’t even touch the top 100
I did like Nicole a lot until this year. Is she really back again next year?
No, Cheryl is for 2 million.
Thank god
It seemed like Nicole really culdn't be arsed this year just like most of the viewers Louis has always been an annoying parody of himself, you can tell what he's going to say before he says it. Actually all the judges have been a bit disappointing this year and that goes with the fall in the format for me, as said they just seem to like everything even Simon who'd normally be savage. That's part of the fun for me, when someone is shite and Simon comes up with awful ways to slate them. It just reminds me of the Voice again where they're all OTT positive and constructive, barely daring to say when someone was bad. At best this year we've got really feeble comments like "that wasn't your best" "the song choice was wrong", and like I said for me the judges comments and how far they went with it being bad was part of the fun for me. I know it's light Saturday entertainment, but so is Strictly and the judges will say when someone goes wrong, you have Craig being scathing for example. The judges actually felt redundant this series at many points, with the top 2 writing their own songs mostly anyway, and the fact they don't get to vote on sing-offs, pretty much giving the same generic comments all series only adds to that.
I know there was always moaning hat they had TOO much input and we didn't decide who goes home, but I'd so gladly take that and the drama it brings over the limp format we have this series.
All caught up now and it's a shame that Kevin is out as I think he's really talented, but this wasn't his strongest night, as much as I really like Tokio as well rooting for Rak-Su out of this top 2 as their 'Dimelo' performance was my highlight of the night *.*
Jesus wept, an average of 4.44 million viewers watched this final Strictly got a peak of 10.5 million and average of 9.7 million.
That is AWFUL, I expect they will get more tonight though. Remember the days x factor used to get over 10 million watching the final.
It's still clashing with Strictly, so ofc being the actual final compared to just results of Strictly it'll get more but I expect Strictly to just batter it again
Course Liam, That goes without saying! I mean x-factor will get more viewers than 4.4 million tonight. Given Little Mix etc are on.
Rak-Su will win tonight but I'd prefer Grace now that My fave Kavin has gone.
I rewatched the parts that would be ikonek if more people watched them
- yup, y'all were right, 2nd hand embarrassment at them gaping at Rak Su with arms around each oher. Umm they just did a rap backed up by studio backing vocals tuned ALLL THE WAY UP.
- Matt looking awkward and like he wanted nothinf more to do with the show
- Holly being bitter and jealous of Grace lol
- Luis Tomlinson's 'singing' and Cowell rebellion
- The BLATANT manipulation for Rak Su with two guests and a thousand backing dancers. Just utterly laughable!
A banger from Grace *.*
Little Mix always wearing the same sexy clothes. Just hope there's a big boost for Reggaeton Lento. I wish they had sung a new song, I'm so tired of Power now.
I think this Rak-Su song (Touche) is my fave of theirs, very good.
That was their worst original, SO basic and generic
That was another good'un, even if it sounded identical to the backing track for Dimelo.
Grace's song was good, but Rak-Su's, as basic as it's structure was, was better. That hook (although it makes no sense :')) is catchy af!! The catchiest and most melodic they've done yet.
It's ridiculous how desperate they are for Rak-Su to win They're hyping them up for writing their own songs as if Grace didn't just do the EXACT same thing just with actua lyrics that make sense.
I'm feeling like Grace maybe won last night or at least came close and they're worried.
We need to pull thru and vote grace
That Rat-Su song was an abomination, obviously
Just tuned in. What was Grace like?
But Grace had loads of backing dancers in her performance, fix!
I think Grace is closer in the vote than they'd like, hence Simon making sure he got back on the microphone to plead for votes.
YES! P!nk now.
P!nk never ages. Queen!
This P!nk song is pretty catchy!
Lovin' Beautiful Trauma even more now.
Oh! What About Us too.
But this one is boring...
This is a bit mediocre for Pink, it's good but nothing more. She's capable of better performances.
Dermot not asking P!nk who should win?
She must prefer Grace so Simon has silenced her!
Yeah. Her UK promo is mediocre in comparison to other countries performances.
Why do we never get to see all the acrobatic/huge choregraphed routines? She literally just stands at the microphone all the time. This is why I feel she never gets the credit she deserves as a live performer in the UK... majority of the UK never get to see it!
The show has 0 budget so couldn't afford that for pink
The guy in the purple tracksuit tho
Idk his name
I think Too Young was my least fave of Grace's originals from the lives but probably her best performance so probably the right choice to reprise.
So this is "Performance of the series"? Haven't Rak-Su literally performed every song they've done on the show in this final? (Apart from the performance from today)
That was a stunning performance, she HAS to win this
That was gorgeous!
Simon making sure there are a bunch of Rak-Su signs behind Grace's family! Wow, fix!
TBf I think that's just where they're sat obviously everyone has their own signs lmao
Mona Lisa
Haven't they performed this shit like 54 times now?
Mamacita, Mona Lisa and I'm Feeling You are soooooooooooo annoying.
Dimelo and Touche are ok though.
This is just like poundland Swalla and they can't even the "ayyy ayyy ayyy" bits for god's sake
Yes we know you've never liked Grace, Nicole
I swear this has been about 10 x longer than Grace's as well lmao this is ridiculous
I'd piss myself laughing if Grace won considering all they've done to assure a Rat-Su win
Buzzjack's favourite Sam Smith in a few minutes.
I'm making my housemtes vote 5x Grace on the app on every device they have lmaooo, goals x
I just think Grace stole the show tonight, her performance of Too Young was just amazing the lyrics just give a meaning. Where Rat-Sauce just spout out rubbish week on week.
What I've learned from this show, winners never do well, runners up usually do well chart wise, so in a way I just hope Grace doesn't win it. I'm in favour of Grace winning it though.
Personally I like to see both tracks released as singles, to see who fares better in the charts, as I would love for Grace to release Too Young as a single.
I love Grace's songwiting so much
The problem I have with Rak-Su is their good and their songs are good but I'm not amazed by them like others are. Their songs are really simular imo. Not versatility like Grace can be.
lmao bookies basically confirming Grace hasn't won
Well I'm in the minority but I like Sam
Really like this Sam track, this is the Like I Can of this album.
Oh :/
How do Bookies know - are they cashing out?
Suh a manipulated show!! Fix Factor.
Why is it always the one with a reaaally sweaty forehead and vacant expression who gets the camera shoved in his face at the end??
quick close the vote!!! someone just said they wanted grace to win!!! ah there we go
Yeah true, it'll prob be best for both acts if Rak-Su win though as Grace will have more autonomy and Rak-Su will likely be horribly mismanaged anyway. I expect they'll manage a slightly longer career than Matt Terry's is looking like at least.
The runners up doing better than the winners on X Factor is a bit of a myth I mean off the top of my head it happened twice - Olly Murs & JLS. Alexandra was pretty successful and unfortunately for Joe I don't think they knew what to do with him (oh and he already had to live with the embarrassment of losing the Xmas number 1!). One Direction came 3rd.
They haven't been able to produce a star on the show for a while, I don't know if they ever will to be fair. Both Grace and Rak-Su I can see having one decent hit and then fading away.
Crap, just when I cleared space, spent last 30 mins doing it, on phone and JUST downloaded the app, vote closes.
"he's got weeks/months to live"
like...at 16...how do you even begin to process that?
Why does the voiceover man always pronounce it as Grace DavIS?
f*** sake
Grace robbed
FFS I thought they said Grace for a split second as well
yes Rak-Su The deserved winners of this year.
Rat Crap
no
Dimelo Dimelo Dimelo!
I did like both finalists this year tho for the second series running! But Rak-Su edged it for me. Grace is more talented imo but I'm not as keen on her music.
Thank f*** this series is over with
It's just ridiculous an act with such little talent can win a SINGING compeittion....
The live shows feel like such a non-event this year.
I feel they got it good getting acts to perform their original songs, but I think they need to expand on the live shows again and make them more fun.
Cant wait for percentages tonight.
Anyway, can see an announcement for Grace Davies getting a contract in a couple weeks.
Nicole needs to go. This is the first year she's irritated the f*** out of me.
Louis can take his leave too. I'll never forget his "YOU ARE REAL HUMAN BEINGS!" critique. Just atrocious.
All sorts need to be done to save the show but I'd be here forever
I actually liked the format of this series. Much better having full shows on the Saturday & Sunday rather than an hour of irrelevant crap on the Sunday. Also liked how the Lives didn't drag on forever. They definitely DO need to scrap the prize fight though, not here for that.
Despite all the flaws of the show this year, and the fact that I prefer and voted for Grace, I do think Rak-Su will do well, at least in comparison to all of the other winners post-James Arthur. Dimelo is relevant, bang on the latino trend and actually feels like it might be a chart hit without the show. Be interesting to see how it performs on Spotify and whether it can manage more than 2 or 3 weeks on the chart.
Yeah definitely need it back to how it was, but with original songs allowed as well. I mean they let Lucy Spraggan do it, if they just keep to mostly more wide themes like the love and Express Yourself ones from this year then original songs can easily fit, most good songwriters could fit their songs to wide themes like that. It just didn't feel like an event at all, it's just here and gone when they only have a few live shows. I much prefer the drama and tension of the Sunday results show even if having the whole hour for it drags a bit. Everything just felt flat for me from the judges comments to the guests a lot of the time to the results and the hideous Prize Fight thing.
Urgh, of course.
They really pushed for it, and Fix Factor got it.
At least now Roots won't have Paloma Faith tagged onto it!!
Grace needs to go with a different company as Syco are the pits.
Because why not?

Was totally team Grace but I applaud X Factor for getting a commercial winner that has a chance of a career and they had that in Grace and Rak-Su. Surely Syco will rush out albums for both of them before Easter? It'd be baffling not to!
Can see Grace and Rak-Su getting albums before Summer 2018. They’re both ready for it seeing as both acts write their own songs.
Not surprised at the winner.
Did Pink sing this weekend? I thought she was meant to? If yes, was it ‘Beautiful Trauma’?

As much as I wanted Grace to win, you really can't begrudge Rak-Su. They were remarkably consistent throughout and produced bops week after week. Dimelo is a massive tune and I'm hyped to download it, so refreshing as a winning single! I'm confident Simon will sign Grace anyway and we'll have a single at the very least from her by this time next year.
Surprised Rak-Su benefitted from Kevin!
No surprises there in the stats really, such a boring predictable series
Justice to see Rak-Su winning. Won my bet from the first live show.
Surprised Holly came 2nd in the first vote off.
Anyway, closer than I thought tbh!
Really pleased that Rak-Su took the crown! It's quite refreshing to have an X Factor winner's single of this ilk, 'Dimelo' has barely left my head since yesterday.
Really bad song and mega cheese group
Surprised the casual Kevin voters wrnt over to Rak Su :/
Am I the only one who feels like guest performances should be scrapped from the X Factor? I tune in to watch new up and coming musicians perform, not musicians who are established already, if I want to see those people perform I will search for their videos on YouTube. It just feels like they are trying to force certain musicians upon the audience. During tonight's grand final I purposely took a toilet break when P!nk & Little Mix were on stage and it was only because I was in the middle of having my dinner that I didn't manage to dodge Sam Smith's performance.
I agree - I have skipped every single last guest performer.
It's hardly forcing just because you don't like them Pink, Little Mix and as much as I despise him Sam Smith are three of the biggest acts in the world, why wuld they not book them? Especiall Little Mix being one of the sow's biggest success stories. Plus how else are they going to fill the time counting results etc? The big names like that are the ones bringing viewers in as well, I'm sure a lot of people who were uming and ahhing about whether to watch watched for them, and perhaps people who otherwise wouldn't watch at all. Its nonsensical to scrap guests
It's not even a case of liking or not liking the performers. To me it just feels like waste of time having guests perform and always has done throughout the years of X Factor/Britain's Got Talent. It's not as if they have to spend half an hour counting the votes, it's only 5 minutes plus an advert break most of the time. They could spend that time interviewing the contestants instead rather than recycling the same shit every year.
Established artists get the show viewers though... in theory anyway, I believe this has been the lowest rated final in XF history but could've been worse if they didn't have Little Mix/P!nk/Sam Smith on.
