The chart is the same as on MTv Hits, only 1 comment, that if we consider this countdown, Marshmello and Jonas Brothers's song is not a new, but a re-entry.

Regarding The Weeknd - "You Right" is his second number 1 this year after "Save Your Tears". david0306, to me it doesn't really matter whether there is an identical chart being broadcast currently on MTV Hits. The European chart broadcast on MTV EUROPE has a long history - we have archives since 1989. I have posted the European chart broadcast on MTV EUROPE for many years and I'll continue to do it - no matter what charts are being broadcast on MTV Hits, the history of THIS chart must be kept! |

"NDA" becomes the fourth number 1 of Billie Eilish in the chart after "Bad Guy", "Therefore I Am" and "Your Power". And it's nice to see "Iko Iko" by Justin Wellington finally appear (at number 7)! |

Euro Top Chart - (as broadcast on MTV Europe)
Here is the chart of July 31, 2021: 20 Twenty One Pilots - Saturday 19 Calvin Harris & Tom Grennan - By Your Side 11 Down 18 Olivia Rodrigo - Deja Vu 17 Imagine Dragons - Wrecked 16 J Balvin & Skrillex - In Da Getto 15 David Guetta & John Newman - If You Really Love Me 14 Doja Cat & The Weeknd - You Right 8 Down 13 Trinidad Cardona - Dinero 3 Down 12 Marshmello & Jonas Brothers - Leave Before You Love Me 6 Up 11 Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar & Giveon - Peaches 10 Dua Lipa - Love Again 1 Down 9 Post Malone - Motley Crew 8 Doja Cat & SZA - Kiss Me More 5 Up 7 BTS - Permission To Dance 4 Down 6 Lil' Nas X - Montero 5 Billie Eilish - NDA 4 Down 4 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits 2 Down 3 The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber - Stay 2 Up 2 Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U 2 Up 1 Måneskin - I Wanna Be Your Slave I have already mentioned that "Satellite" by Lena became number 1 in MTV Europe's European chart in 2010 - the only song that participated in Eurovision to have achieved this. By topping the chart with "I Wanna Be Your Slave" now, Måneskin have achieved something else. I think this is only the second time when an artist has participated in Eurovision with a song and AFTER THAT reached number 1 in MTV Europe's European chart with ANOTHER song. The first one who did this was, of course, Celine Dion, who represented Switzerland at Eurovision in 1988 and then reached the top in 1998 with "My Heart Will Go On". The opposite has also happened - there have been artists who reach number 1 in this chart and later participate in Eurovision. For example - Las Ketchup topped the chart in 2002 with "Asereje" and then represented Spain at Eurovision in 2006. In fact, this has also occurred in 2021! Flo Rida has scored 3 chart-toppers in this chart - "Good Feeling", "Whistle" and "I Don't Like It, I Love It" (with Robin Thicke). In case you missed it - this year he also represented San Marino at Eurovision with "Adrenalina" (a collaboration with Senhit). |

Euro Top Chart - (as broadcast on MTV Europe)
Here is the chart of August 14, 2021: 20 Camila Cabello - Don't Go Yet 19 Down 19 Twenty One Pilots - Saturday 4 Down 18 Doja Cat - Need To Know 17 Shakira - Don't Wait Up 3 Up 16 Dua Lipa - Love Again 15 Post Malone - Motley Crew 4 Down 14 Justin Wellington - Iko Iko Stay => 13 Billie Eilish - NDA 4 Down 12 Kungs - Never Going Home 11 Silk Sonic - Skate 10 Marshmello & Jonas Brothers - Leave Before You Love Me Stay => 9 J Balvin & Skrillex - In Da Getto 3 Up 8 Doja Cat & SZA - Kiss Me More 1 Down 7 BTS - Permission To Dance 1 Down 6 Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U 1 Down 5 Måneskin - I Wanna Be Your Slave 1 Down 4 The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber - Stay 1 Down 3 Jxdn - Think About Me 2 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits Stay => 1 Anne-Marie & Little Mix - Kiss My "Kiss My" becomes Anne-Marie's second chart-topper after "Rockabye" (with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul). As for Little Mix, this is their third number 1 after "Black Magic" and "Sweet Melody". "Don't Go Yet" by Camila Cabello, which was at the top last week, has fallen 19 places to number 20... However, this is not a record! Another song I already mentioned also went 1-20 earlier this year - "Sweet Melody" by Little Mix. And at the very end of 2020 "Jerusalema" by Master KG and Nomcebo fell from number 1 to number 22! |

Euro Top Chart - (as broadcast on MTV Europe)
Here is the chart of August 21, 2021: 20 Swedish House Mafia - It Gets Better 19 Post Malone - Motley Crew 4 Down 18 Tesher & Jason Derulo - Jalebi Baby 17 Doja Cat & SZA - Kiss Me More 9 Down 16 Kungs - Never Going Home 4 Down 15 Camila Cabello - Don't Go Yet 5 Up 14 Marshmello & Jonas Brothers - Leave Before You Love Me 4 Down 13 BTS - Permission To Dance 6 Down 12 J Balvin & Skrillex - In Da Getto 3 Down 11 Dua Lipa - Love Again 5 Up 10 Billie Eilish - NDA 3 Up 9 Måneskin - I Wanna Be Your Slave 4 Down 8 Anne-Marie & Little Mix - Kiss My 7 Down 7 Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U 1 Down 6 Doja Cat - Need To Know 12 Up 5 Lil' Nas X & Jack Harlow - Industry Baby 4 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits 2 Down 3 Silk Sonic - Skate 8 Up 2 The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber - Stay 2 Up 1 Tony Bennett & Lady GaGa - I Get A Kick Out Of You MTV Europe has changed its schedule. Now the "Euro Top Chart" is broadcast from 9:00 to 10:30 CET on Friday; from 10:00 to 11:30 CET on Saturday; and from 6:00 to 7:30 CET on Sunday. "I Get A Kick Out Of You" joins the list of the least deserving number ones EVER in the chart. As far as I can see, it hasn't charted in any European country's singles chart... Lady GaGa last topped the chart a year ago with another collaboration - "Rain On Me" (with Ariana Grande). In any case, we MUST talk about Tony Bennett! He and Lady GaGa already had another duet appear in MTV Europe's European chart in 2011 - "The Lady Is A Tramp". Back then I commented that his debut made him the oldest artist to ever appear in the chart... ...Well, what about now? At 95 years old, Tony Bennett becomes by far the oldest artist to score a number 1 hit! Who knows when this record will be broken... |

"Cold Heart" uses Elton's song "Sacrifice", which peaked at number 10 in the chart back in 1990. |

This week's chart-topper, "Out Out", is the second for Joel Corry after "Head & Heart" (with MNEK). When it comes to Jax Jones, it's his very first number 1. "Out Out" samples "Alors On Danse" by Stromae, which also topped the chart - in 2010 (and it was very notable that a song in French managed to do this). |

In 2021 they have scored 3 additional number ones - "Sweet Melody", "Kiss My" (with Anne-Marie) and now "Love Sweet Love". But the biggest news is: ABBA APPEAR IN THE CHART!!!!!! It should be no surprise that "I Still Have Faith In You" is ABBA's first hit in MTV Europe's European chart (which has existed only since the late 1980's - at the earliest that would mean 1987). However, Erasure topped the chart in 1992 with "Abba-esque"! |

Euro Top Chart - (as broadcast on MTV Europe)
Here is the chart of November 6, 2021: 20 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits 2 Down 19 Jesy Nelson - Boyz Stay => 18 J Balvin & Skrillex - In Da Getto 5 Down 17 Drake, Future & Young Thug - Way 2 Sexy 6 Down 16 Jonas Brothers - Who's In Your Head 1 Up 15 The Weeknd - Take My Breath 5 Up 14 Glass Animals - Heat Waves 6 Down 13 Lil' Nas X & Jack Harlow - Industry Baby 2 Up 12 Lost Frequencies & Calum Scott - Where Are You Now 2 Up 11 Ed Sheeran - Shivers 5 Down 10 DJ Tiesto - Don't Be Shy 6 Up 9 Lil' Nas X - Thats What I Want 4 Down 8 Justin Bieber - Ghost 1 Up 7 The Anxiety - Meet Me At Our Spot 3 Up 6 Joel Corry & Jax Jones - Out Out 1 Up 5 Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd - Moth To A Flame 4 The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber - Stay Stay => 3 Elton John & Dua Lipa - Cold Heart 1 Down 2 Adele - Easy On Me 1 Down 1 Coldplay & BTS - My Universe 2 Up "My Universe" by Coldplay and BTS returns to number 1 for a second week there... And this is actually quite a remarkable achievement these days! Since MTV Europe's European chart changed the way it's being made in February this year, only one song has spent more than one week at the top - "Kiss Me More" by Doja Cat and SZA (2 weeks and they were consecutive). Before that, the last song to be number 1 for more than one week (and the last song which returned to the top) was "Afterglow" by Ed Sheeran. |
