The chart is the same as on MTv Hits, only 1 comment, that if we consider this countdown, Marshmello and Jonas Brothers's song is not a new, but a re-entry.

david0306, to me it doesn't really matter whether there is an identical chart being broadcast currently on MTV Hits. The European chart broadcast on MTV EUROPE has a long history - we have archives since 1989. I have posted the European chart broadcast on MTV EUROPE for many years and I'll continue to do it - no matter what charts are being broadcast on MTV Hits, the history of THIS chart must be kept!

1 Måneskin - I Wanna Be Your Slave

I have already mentioned that "Satellite" by Lena became number 1 in MTV Europe's European chart in 2010 - the only song that participated in Eurovision to have achieved this. By topping the chart with "I Wanna Be Your Slave" now, Måneskin have achieved something else. I think this is only the second time when an artist has participated in Eurovision with a song and AFTER THAT reached number 1 in MTV Europe's European chart with ANOTHER song.
The first one who did this was, of course, Celine Dion, who represented Switzerland at Eurovision in 1988 and then reached the top in 1998 with "My Heart Will Go On".
The opposite has also happened - there have been artists who reach number 1 in this chart and later participate in Eurovision. For example - Las Ketchup topped the chart in 2002 with "Asereje" and then represented Spain at Eurovision in 2006. In fact, this has also occurred in 2021! Flo Rida has scored 3 chart-toppers in this chart - "Good Feeling", "Whistle" and "I Don't Like It, I Love It" (with Robin Thicke). In case you missed it - this year he also represented San Marino at Eurovision with "Adrenalina" (a collaboration with Senhit).

"Don't Go Yet" by Camila Cabello, which was at the top last week, has fallen 19 places to number 20... However, this is not a record! Another song I already mentioned also went 1-20 earlier this year - "Sweet Melody" by Little Mix. And at the very end of 2020 "Jerusalema" by Master KG and Nomcebo fell from number 1 to number 22!

1 Tony Bennett & Lady GaGa - I Get A Kick Out Of You

MTV Europe has changed its schedule. Now the "Euro Top Chart" is broadcast from 9:00 to 10:30 CET on Friday; from 10:00 to 11:30 CET on Saturday; and from 6:00 to 7:30 CET on Sunday.
"I Get A Kick Out Of You" joins the list of the least deserving number ones EVER in the chart. As far as I can see, it hasn't charted in any European country's singles chart... Lady GaGa last topped the chart a year ago with another collaboration - "Rain On Me" (with Ariana Grande).
In any case, we MUST talk about Tony Bennett! He and Lady GaGa already had another duet appear in MTV Europe's European chart in 2011 - "The Lady Is A Tramp". Back then I commented that his debut made him the oldest artist to ever appear in the chart...
...Well, what about now? At 95 years old, Tony Bennett becomes by far the oldest artist to score a number 1 hit! Who knows when this record will be broken...

2 The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber - Stay Stay =>
1 Joel Corry & Jax Jones - Out Out

"Stay" by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber has now stayed at number 2 for 4 consecutive weeks - behind 4 different, random number ones...
This week's chart-topper, "Out Out", is the second for Joel Corry after "Head & Heart" (with MNEK). When it comes to Jax Jones, it's his very first number 1.
"Out Out" samples "Alors On Danse" by Stromae, which also topped the chart - in 2010 (and it was very notable that a song in French managed to do this).

1 Little Mix - Love Sweet Love

Until this year Little Mix had one chart-topper - "Black Magic". In 2021 they have scored 3 additional number ones - "Sweet Melody", "Kiss My" (with Anne-Marie) and now "Love Sweet Love".
But the biggest news is:

ABBA APPEAR IN THE CHART!!!!!!

It should be no surprise that "I Still Have Faith In You" is ABBA's first hit in MTV Europe's European chart (which has existed only since the late 1980's - at the earliest that would mean 1987). However, Erasure topped the chart in 1992 with "Abba-esque"!

MTv Hungary started to play Acapulco from No. 19 and ended with Cold Heart at No. 1 on Friday skipping My Universe as the chart-topper, but on Sunday it was broadcast as on MTv Hits throughout the week.

Willow Smith's appearance at number 12 with "Meet Me At Our Spot" (as a part of The Anxiety) is not her first in MTV Europe's European chart. 10 years ago, in 2011, she peaked at number 15 with "Whip My Hair".
"Cold Heart" reaches number 1! Dua Lipa last topped the chart with "We're Good" earlier this year.
What about Elton John? This is his first chart-topper since "Candle In The Wind '97"!! Before that (and since September 1989) he had one other number 1 - his duet with George Michael "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me".

"My Universe" by Coldplay and BTS returns to number 1 for a second week there... And this is actually quite a remarkable achievement these days!
Since MTV Europe's European chart changed the way it's being made in February this year, only one song has spent more than one week at the top - "Kiss Me More" by Doja Cat and SZA (2 weeks and they were consecutive).
Before that, the last song to be number 1 for more than one week (and the last song which returned to the top) was "Afterglow" by Ed Sheeran.
