Wow, Sam Smith is not messing about. His best song by a long way, this era is going to be massive.
Funny how people thought he was going to do an Emili Sande. Pinks song is excellent too, love the chorus. This post has been edited by Lomadz: 6th October 2017, 05:17 AM |

yes but part of why emeli sande underperformed was cos of spotify, she did well on itunes but barely nothing on spotify... but sure is she had grabbed a deal with spotify and had hurts as song #1 on all immaginable playlists since day 1 + a video added to the playlists, who knows, maybe she would have done better and not underperformed

I doubt she would have done much better than #22 regardless. |

This Sam Smith song is a revelation. Clever release strategy by him - release something familiar (if a little safe) to remind everyone of your name and then release something much more impactful as a follow up so that they can't accuse you of being samey. Would be difficult to call this song boring.

I had to think who Chart Killer was, than I twigged, can we not do that please.
Actually on first impression, Pray sounds really good, I wish he released Pray as his debut track from his new material instead of the snoozefest Too Good for Goodbyes. |
