Kicking us off on the countdown, is the last track from the standard edition 'The End' (ironically enough). 'The End' is an all acapella track and is something the fans have been wanting for years. It's a track about breaking up with someone, but this time for GOOD. It was one of the earliest tracks we got to hear from the 'Get Weird' era, due to the girls showcasing it at a couple of low key events. It also made a few headlines due to Perrie being unable to hold it together during the first time, due to it being so recent when she broke up with Zayn. The girls held it together for her and managed to help her get through the rest of the song.

The acoustic 'Clued Up' is up next and finishes in 15th position. It's tracklisting position on the deluxe version of the album no less. I like this, but I can definitely see why it's only a bonus track. It's nice to have in their catalogue though. It may have it's "haters" like Hurricane and both Defaze & Juliano, but it also has it's fans in DionTheSats123, Camilla Melissa & Joeefoster, who is the songs biggest fan!

C-C-Clued up. It is indeed one of the worst tracks on the album, but as far as "worst songs" go, it's quite pleasant, if a little jarring.


I'll be continuing this with both #14 and #15 later this evening.

Finishing off the album, is the aptly titled 'The Beginning', which is another acapella track, and another deluxe track. It's a nice listen, but at only 1 minute and 33 seconds in length (the shortest on the album), it's difficult to have imagined this placing any higher than it has. It does have it's fans, receiving six 8s and two 10s!

Aggressive clapping time. Apart from 'Secret Love Song Part II, which we might not see for a while, that's it for original deluxe tracks. 'I Won't' I find to be quite catchy and uplifting, and easily to first song of the results so far that I actually ever go back to, and I'm sure a lot of people agree with me, as the average jumps safely into the 7s here. It can be slightly annoying if you're not in the right mood for it, but it's a solid effort from the girls. Can we please find a Get Weird track that Hurricane enjoys?

Time for one of the tracks that appears pretty high on the tracklisting but not so high in your affections, apparently. I Love You is a rather heartfelt ballad, that doesn't fit the power ballad category quite as conventionally as Secret Love Song does, but it feels quite breathy and quite delicately done. It builds and builds throughout to a really heartfelt, yearning final chorus where once again, Perrie's powerhouse vocals are awe-inspiring. It has a slightly more retro, RnB feel about it than some of their ballads and it did take a while for it to grow on me admittedly but I do recognise it as probably being my 2nd favourite ballad on the whole album. A classy affair.

I find I find that I Love You is quite forgettable until Jesy's delicious vocals on her middle 8, that simply elevate song to new levels.

Again for me I Love You isn't my least favourite, but is the most forgettable, I can sing a part or all of every other song, but with this one I have to hear it first, then I remember, it was a reject from DNA was it not? Better off as a bonus track.

'I Love You' is so stunning. On the first few listens it was by far my least favourite on the album (so I get why not so many people might not be taking to it), but I think it's safely in the top half of the album for me now and I really can't point out exactly why, but I just love it. It's rather lush and extremely delicate. It's not quite like anything I've heard before.

ILY and I Won't are quite good, but overshadowed by the better tracks on the album. I tend to think of ILY as a weak SLS so naturally I would grow to like it more since I did my rates.

I was prepared to complain about 'I Love You' missing the top 10, but I actually can't think of what I'd swap it with. 'Lightning' (and 'Hair' at a push) I guess. Such a strong album. Good to see 'Clued Up' and the acapella songs last, by far the worst tracks.

EDIT: 'I Won't' is ridiculously underrated tho.

Just missing out on that top 10, is Grown, a fun, overpowering bop that was released in the run up to the album's release. It's described as a 'big old plate of sass' by music journalists ANDPOP. They performed this song for the first time at the Apple Music festival, and its been somewhat of a fan favourite since then. Hurricane isn't a one of them.

Grown is quite irritating, glad it's not top 10. I don't dislike it as much as I used to but it's still one of the album's weaker tracks for me.

Into the top 10 we go and starting us off was the first instant grat from the album (a track solely released to create hype and sales of pre-orders of the album), 'Hair'. It's the song that despite the fans adoring 'Black Magic' at the time, gave us hope that they weren't completely leaving the sound of 'Salute' behind. It managed to give the girls an 11th top 40 hit! In regards to the scoring, Hurricane dishes out another "01.0" like there's no tomorrow and although they're listed, I don't particularly think a score of 6 is particularly bad. It's above average, anyway! SergMix, Liam & Robot seem to absolutely love it, whilst the rest of us enjoy it a hell of a lot.

Yeah, hair is pretty fun and catchy, I think the rest of the remaining upbeat album tracks are all quite banger-quality now, so competition is stiff. I'm glad it made the top 10 anyway!

At 9 we have kind of title track 'Weird People', a certified jam, if I do say so myself. It's the first song to hit an 8 average, but at #9 it's slightly lower than I'd have expected. I put it in a category with the album's more superior bops; 'Lightning', 'Hair', 'A.D.I.D.A.S' and 'OMG' which could possibly all be the 4th single, though I feel almost certain that 'Weird People' is what the team will go for, as it's fun, and upbeat without being the sort of song that would alienate their recent connection to the likes of Heart and Radio 2 audiences ('Lightning'), not to mention that it defines the era within its lyrics and title.

Up next at number 8 is the song that seems to split the fans. I think you're either a big fan of this or not. I find it pretty annoying personally, and think it'd be the one score I would revise, if I was redoing it. Definitely in my bottom 3 of the album I think. Not that it's necessarily "bad" it's just very annoying, despite being catchy! It reminds me of a Charli XCX song and I'm really not a fan and can't be doing with a Charli XCX-lite pop song. I really wouldn't like this to be a single, but for some reason, I really think it's going to be one and I really don't know why I think that!

Glad this one is out, because it leaves a perfect top 7 for me. I do like it, but i agree, it is very annoying on repeated listens, and I would have definitely put it below Hair, and Weird People. I also agree on the singles front. I have a feeling this will be single number 4, and i'm hoping it isn't, because i don't see it having much of an impact chart wise tbh (personally hoping it's ADIDAS, Lightning, or Hair)

At #7 is the rather subtly raunchy 'A.D.I.D.A.S.'! It's one of the big talking points of the album. The production is very retro but the lyrics are definitely the cheekiest from the girls, yet! Cleverly hidden as the title and I actually think the "Shhhh" really suits the song! It's a very good and fun pop song, which see Leigh-Anne spitting a few bars and going in on a rap! The Nadine Coyle of Little Mix, if you wish! I actually can see this being a big hit for the girls if they were to release it. It'd get people talking, for sure.

Causing up quite the storm is widely adored track 'Lightning', which was also a B-side to Love Me Like You. It has some rather weird production (those chipmunk 'But I do's though). It's the only proper dance-pop track on the album, I'd say, as it has an actual breakdown. This is a storm with some strong winds from the south, as Hurricane is actually gives a good score (Sorry, that was awful, but I had to). Cameron, Joeefoster and one of Kath's alias are finding it rather mediocre, however.

TBH i'm distraught at whatever leaves now, because I love all 7, but devastated that ADIDAS came seventh, personally would have put Secret Love Song part 1 there, but hey ho, Lightning is probably in the right position for me, but wouldn't have minded seeing it go top 5. Just missing out on a top 3 placing at number 4, is the stunning 'Secret Love Song (Part II)'. It's the "second part" to their collaboration with Jason Derulo and it's gone down a STORM with the fans. In fact, I'd go as far to say that this is by far the best vocal they have provided to date. It's just full of emotion and the piano backing them helps lift this song to new, emotional heights each and every time you hear it. It is definitely the 'These Four Walls' of this album for me. I think just about everyone likes this track (even Hurricane! ) and it's easy to see why.

Devastated LMOLM has finished in fifth, definitely my favourite from the album. It's so stunning. And my personal runner up in 4th I'm a little shocked part 2 has finished lower than part 1, given how superior it is...though i predict part 1 may have benefited from being the newest single when this started, or during it

Finishing in 3rd place is Little Mix's most recent single and most recent top 10 hit! It's a beautiful ballad that features American RnB and Pop singer Jason Derulo. Many wish Jason wasn't part of of this single, but I don't mind him and I actually prefer the production on this version (though I wish Jade had more to do). And I'm sure his feature has had a hand in the song's popularity. This received amazing scores from Buzzjack, with an average of 9.55. There are so many moments in this song, from Perrie nailing the chorus to Jesy's iconic 'I'm YOOOOURS'. And let's not forget that Jason brings something extra to the video by doing the robot. It would have been interesting if this rate had been done a month later, I could have seen 'Secret Love Song' being a bigger contender for #1.

Losing out on the top spot by just .19, is the second single from the album 'Love Me Like You'. Once the tracklist was revealed and this was announced as the second single, fans were freaking out and kept getting confused and were adding "Do" at the end due to Ellie Goulding's song (some still do it now ) but unlike Ellie's soaring ballad, this is a mid-tempo ballad and sees the girls go retro and put their spin on their own 60's style pop song. A song which has lent itself to some iconic performances (the X Factor UK & Aus performances for instance!) It's a shame this missed the top 10, but it's chart run and sales are fantastic and it's gone on to become one of their top 5 best performing singles! Everyone (except Stephen bloody Fry) seems to at least like this and it's not hard to see why!

So it was VERY close between the top 3 in the end...But at number 1, of course, is the biggest game changer in Little Mix's career. This huge #1 has had such success, it's the first of their songs to hit platinum, it had received two Brit Award nominations and spent 3 weeks at number 1. Like it or not (I'm looking at you, Totto...) Black Magic is what sent Little Mix into their imperial phase and as fans, we should be eternally grateful for it. This is an all-out pop song, with more than one infectious hook and goes beyond what one would expect the "Little Mix demographic" would be. Well done, 'Black Magic'!

A great winner! Although I would've given my 11 to Secret Love Song now but I can't argue with it at all and it really is a superb pop song!

I think this is one of the few albums where I can say that they've got the singles spot on! I'd have preferred a slightly different order, but I'm not going to moan about the singles actually being rhe highest tbh.
