Not really. Britney has loads of equally massive songs. It's not the same as Calvin using We Found Love in the last round. Everytime as a ballad in like the top 5 might not do as well against massive classic bangers so we thought it would stand out more now.

it's my fav Britney song for a while and when it comes to chart forum contests it always seems to do amazingly well, y'all will always have 'Toxic' but banned tbh. Bring on 'I Wanna Go' being sent *.*

I think people often forget just how many songs Britney has had that could be considered as "staples" and take us further into the contest.

Britney thankfully does have lots of songs that could do really well for her in this competition (I think she could potentially go on to win it) but I did think the songs sent so far would have been better off used later. Songs like 'Crazy', 'Lucky', 'Piece of Me' and 'Circus' could have been used in these earlier rounds and sailed through. Even 'Make Me' tbh.

To be fair Womanizer would have been used later but we thought there was only going to be like 5 rounds at the time. 'Crazy' is a lot more popular than say 'Till The World Ends' and 'Work Bitch', I'd say.

Maybe I'm a bit out of touch with the levels of popularity for Britney songs and underestimate the power of 'classic' Britney. Regardless, I definitely think Britney has a shot at winning as her career and style of music just caters perfectly to this type of contest. She's someone we've all grown up with so we're aware of pretty much all her songs and she releases care-free 'pop bangers' which seems to be what is working best in the competition.
