We finally made it to the final! Everybody give yourselves a round of applause. 4 agonizing heats and the andra chansen of death have passed and we're left with 12 simply stupendous entries, so we best crack on.

01 Sanna Nielsen - Vågar du vågar jag

The queen of this entire contest, Sanna began with all 5 of her post 2002 entries and has managed to take 2 into the final. Surprisngly, the first of those is a song sung in Swedish and predates 2011! Who knew Buzzjack had such good taste. Will it be able to overcome it all and be Sanna's top track here. I think there's more chance of Anders returning to host next year's contest in all honesty. All together now, LIVET BÖRJAR HÄR OCH NU...

02 Måns Zelmerlöw - Hope & Glory

Well didn't Måns have a good AC! After not being deemed quite good enough twice in the heats, both his MF entries have progressed to the final. And first we have, in my humble opinion, the inferior of those two tracks, 'Hope & Glory'. A masterclass in how to do a first class pop song for the likes of your Ola's and Darin's and Danny's, can he make up for the cruel way the winner was decided back in 2009 and claim what was his rightful victory? Or will his face be forevermore:

03 Loreen - My Heart Is Refusing Me

Everybody bow, the queen has arrived. Whetting the appetites of the Swedish public 1 year before being crowned leader of euroqueens worldwide, her 2011 effort was unfortunately denied a place in the final by Sara Varga. Yes I don't remember her either, but I'm sure she's popped up at Lotta på Liseberg since. After knocking out Nanne in AC (</3) can Loreen go all the way with this? We all know the answer.

04 Timoteij - Stormande hav

We have our second of two tracks now that didn't make the final in it's respective contest. 'Stormande hav' is like a Gwen Stefani song that's been eurofied and then some with knobs on. Such a barnstorm of a track, which like Loreen, was cruelly snatched from the contest in AC, against some rockabilly shit. Since 2012 and this fabulous song and it's parent album, Timoteij have lost a member (the violin one) and tens of gays on the internet CRAVE a new album from them. Maybe winning an online song contest will inspire them?...

05 Helena Paparizou - Survivor

We all never thought it would actually happen. But after years and years of speculation, H Papz FINALLY took to the Melodifestivalen stage back in February with her best song since her Eurovision winner 'My Number One'. As well as bringing the VOX she also shocked us with her FROX and wore some very questionale outfits. Sweden didn't make it easy for her though, having to go through AC and giving the gays a heart attack in a duel against Outtrigger. Luckily this time, good taste prevailed, leaving Iz and friends crying behind in AC, going on to earn a very respectable 4th place in the final. Will she be able to take it all the way here though?

06 Eric Saade - Popular

[silas]HE WILL BE POPULAR[/silas] It's our first of four tracks that actually won Melodifestivalen and it's also the track that should've stormed Eurovision too, but alas it did not. Not going to dwell on that NULL and VOID contest though, because really this is a truly splendid pop song that just HITS you the moment you press play. Bound to do very well I think, will you all deem Eric popular enough to be crowned Super Melodifestivalen champion? (& even though you're probably not reading this Yu, he is mine. Back off bitch)

07 Måns Zelmerlöw - Cara Mia

The original and still the best in Måns tracks, 'Cara Mia' is our joint second oldest song here, dating back to the days of 2007. I think this would've done a lot better at Eurovision than The Ark did and of course it goes without saying that this should've come second over the song from the truly all-round abysmal Andreas Johnson. Will Mr Zelmerlöw be our victor? Love is all we need Måns, so come closer...

08 Loreen - Euphoria

Here it is. The one no one had any doubt of being here. I could go on and on about this song and the true brilliance in it and the way Loreen delivers it, both in studio and live. It smashed Melodifestivalen. It smashed Eurovision. It smashed the charts around Europe. But will it smash Super MF? Or is it just TOO predictable and boring a winner? It's certainly not without its vocal haters (I assume there's more than one?) so an upset could well be on the cards.

09 Alcazar - Stay The Night

It wouldn't be a Melodifestivalen final without them. Unless it's 2010 of course. Possibly the greatest Swedish band of the 21st century, they are here after sailing through heat 1 with the fabulous 'Stay The Night'. I firmly believe this is a challenger for the win in this and rightly so. You CAN be an alcastar! DANCE TILL TOMORROW COMES!

10 Timoteij - Kom

Now really Sweden, why the bloody hell didn't this walk it in the underwhelming 2010 final? Safura would have been QUIVERING backstage in Oslo having to follow on from this! Smacking you in the face with its huge chorus, 'Kom' is a fear to be reckoned with in this strong final. Will it be able to top it's original 5th place?

11 Sanna Nielsen - Undo

Well look at how SMUG she is! Fresh from her Melodifestivalen victory in March and then onto a bronze finish in Copenhagen, Sanna's done alright for herself in super MF. 'Undo' has been quite the success for her, even managing to chart at #40 in the UK *.* Can she claim victory twice in one year?

12 Charlotte Perrelli - Hero

Finishing off this finest selection of pop triumphs, we have 'Hero'. An utter JOY to listen to, I'm literally fisting the air (careful) everytime it's on. Never tiring, never boring. Old Harlot had one more go at Eurovision success back in 2008 and well Europe basically told her to fuck off. The injustice! Will Buzzjack be able to right that unforgivable wrong and crown Dame Perrelli the winner?

Voting will be done in the traditional Eurovision style as shown below. Please PM your votes to me AdamAloud before 23:59 on Sunday 29th September. Results will follow next Monday evening.

Jesus, I didn't even NOTICE it was as bad as twelve songs between eight artists

Not that I can complain because this is a truly KILLER line-up. Not a SINGLE sub 10/10 track among them, and frankly I'm going to be PAINED trying to order some of these 12455/10s

Though if Hero doesn't TAKE THE GONG I'm having a MELODISTRAIGHT SUMMARILY EXECUTED

Fair warning, my votes will probably not correlate with my heat votes as I change my mind every time I hear these (mostly all amazing) songs. There's definitely nothing I strongly object to at the least.

Maybe my votes will just be the unpredictable element, seeing as any Outtriggers I might have been able to champion had a snowball in hell's chance of even getting to the first heat.

I've discarded 9.5/10's from Sanna and Timoteij and managed to order the others to submit my votes ohmy.gif

I didn't find it too hard but mainly because the majority already feature in my top 300 of all time, so I just plucked the order out of that.

Doesn't feel like this 'epic' MF final. Stormande Hav / Undo? Best of the last 10+ years?? REALLY?

Voted. Only LOVE LOVE LOVE my Top 3.

Undo deserves to be there but Stormande hav really should've been switched out for Show Me Heaven.

I'd swap 'Kom' out before I'd swap Stormande Hav but hey, that's just me.
