Summer slipped away! I spent my summer moving house so it didn't feel like much of a holiday if i'm being honest, so instead of this being songs that soundtracked my summer a better definition would be the songs that soundtracked my move lol! Not gonna get into too much detail, gonna just speed through and get it done lol!
This top 40 is compiled of the biggest songs in my chart over the summer, with points being counted from the 1st chart of june to the final chart of august! songs full chart runs will be included, where positions before the 1st week of june will be italicsed, and those positions did not contribute points. points: weeks spent at #1 = 50 points weeks spent at #2 = 48 points weeks spent at #25 = 25 points weeks spent at #50 = 1 point and so on |

Tate McRae had a huge 2022, with 4 #1 singles, including this one. this summer it had a small resurgance re-charting in the top 15 and spending enough weeks to make it into another songs of the summer chart, though now its at the opposite end. Its not often that taylor underperforms on my chart, but she did here. Her collaboration from The National's album only spent 2 weeks on chart, overshadowed by this goegeous song which made #1 back in may!
