First of all Avatar 2 won't be coming next year also. Wonder how long till it will be announced to be releasing in 2019. And then how long after that it will be revealed that it has been delayed.

QUOTE
"Well, 2018 is not happening. We haven't announced a firm release date. What people have to understand is that this is a cadence of releases. So we're not making Avatar 2. We're making Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5,"

A Hanna TV series may happen from the screenwriter of last years massive success 'The Night Manager', loved Hanna so will be very intrigued to see how this plays out if it happens!
QUOTE
The Night Manager screenwriter David Farr might have a half-dozen movie and TV projects in the works right now, but that won't stop him from revisiting his film Hanna.

Farr has inked a deal with NBCUniversal to develop a TV version of his 2011 movie starring Saoirse Ronan as the daughter of a missing assassin (via Deadline.). Trained in the ways of death all her life, Hanna uses all of those deadly skills in her arsenal to reunite with dad.

And for some lighter news, here is the reason for Nicole Kidman's clapping at the Oscars!!
QUOTE
"It was really awkward! I was like, 'Gosh, I want to clap. I don't want to not be clapping,' which would be worse, right?" Kidman said during an interview with Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O. "It was really difficult because I had a huge ring on that was not my own, but it was absolutely gorgeous, and I was terrified of damaging it!"

Nicole Kidman's hands will never NOT be funny laugh.gif

Here's some other pieces of news I've seen around:
- Christian Bale has been cut from Terrence Malick's "Song to Song", also starring Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender.
- John Cena has signed on to co-star in Daddy's Home 2 after his brief cameo at the end of the first film.
- Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks to star in Spielberg drama, "The Post".

Looking forward to the Meryl/Tom/Steven film! Should be great! wub.gif

Also looking forward to Daddy's Home 2, as long as the rumour of Mel Gibson joining the cast isn't true.

Also Edgar Wright's new film 'Baby Driver' premiered the other day to terrific reviews, very excited for that to come out!!

Quick bit news:

- The Girl On The Dragon Tattoo is finally getting a sequel, directed by Fede Alvarez (Don't Breathe), coming out October 2018, Rooney Mara isn't returning and a new Lisbeth Salander is being cast! David Fincher won't be directing this one also but he is producing!

- What do you guys think of the Get Out casting 'controversy'? This all kicked off after Samuel L. Jackson stated that it should have been an African American and not a Black British actor playing the lead role in Get Out and this had led to reactions from Star Wars' John Boyega and Get Out's director (Jordan Peele) and actor (Daniel Kaluuya). Do you think Samuel L. Jackson is right or do you believe it doesn't really matter?!

- Beauty & The Beast has been banned in Malaysia and Russia have slapped it with some adult rating I think

- Emma Watson revealed the reason she didn't do La La Land was because she wanted to be fully committed to Beauty & The Beast. Glad that happened!

- Ridley Scott is directing kidnap drama 'All the Money In The World' with Natalie Portman possibly starring!

- Shawn Mendes will be making his movie debut in Ivan Reitman's big screen musical 'Summer Of Love'

This weeks box office will be coming up in a new post after this!

The release has been postponed/potentially cancelled due to LeFou having a short 'gay' scene in the film. Same reason it's been given a 16+ Age rating restriction in Russia. This world drama.gif

Shame in this day and age had people can't accept 'gay' scenes. Ridiculous.

It was a really dumb and forced gay scene tbh. Why not just make a Dinsey movie with a properly entwined gay story?
