That flag tho.
Sry I couldn't throw a point or two in your direction, you ended up something like 18th if I bothered to rank all the songs this month which I didn't. Very much like anyway, I'm sure it would have been a big hit here if it was entered a few years ago and thought it might still have got that appeal now but apparently not so much - 35th isn't TOO bad though? |

So you both must like the flag
That flag tho. It's not bad! 35th was the highest we ever got in the results. We were stuck in the 40-52 region until the last 2 votes (Jahq and Silas) gave us a bump. I'd much rather climb slowly and peak at the end, than start off strong and plummet...and just being in the final was good enough obvs.Sry I couldn't throw a point or two in your direction, you ended up something like 18th if I bothered to rank all the songs this month which I didn't. Very much like anyway, I'm sure it would have been a big hit here if it was entered a few years ago and thought it might still have got that appeal now but apparently not so much - 35th isn't TOO bad though? I am jealous as well! Well you earned it! I'm counting on you for next contest too!

Sizzy Rocket "Girls" LXV: did not qualify Only one country had anything nice to say about '‘Girls'’, but who better to praise it than the contest host himself, Ricardo Delta! He called it ‘'a great early Saturdays-esque song’…' which is terrific, but probably for the best that it wasn’t said before everyone voted! New-country prejudice has been ruled out as a possibility, as fellow newbie the Republic of Adonia earned a top-ten finish (rightfully!) in their first contest. The real reason for Sizzy'’s underperformance is, of course, a lack of promo due to the cancellation of Keisha Buchanan'’s talk show, on which she was scheduled to appear. East "Old Age" Buzzjackfestivalen III Harmonica did not intend to take part until this under-3:00 gem presented itself at just the right time. So close, but East was just once place shy of advancing out of Deltavling 3. Harmonica voted in full force for country favorite Hunter Hayes, representing Bellamia, and shot their own entry in the foot as Hunter took the fourth and final qualifying spot in the heat while 'Old Age' settled for fifth. To be fair, East seems like quite the Lorde wannabe: age 16, from neighboring Australia, and with evident vocal similarities. Buzzjack was sharp enough to see right through her, but the song itself is still great. This post has been edited by Riser: 10th July 2014, 03:28 AM |

Anoop Desai feat. ADHD "Love War" LXVI: did not qualify The Riser hype for this began eight months ago, before Harmonica was even a figment of his imagination. The song was resurrected to make sure we weren't missing out on something with this so-called "dance trend" in BJSC. Harmonica never seemed like a dance country, and now we know it's true. We now return to our regularly scheduled guitar pop. This post has been edited by Riser: 9th August 2014, 06:12 AM |

Dominique Pruitt "To Win Your Love" LXVII: did not qualify Rachel Reilly lookalike Dominique Pruitt failed "to win your love" as Harmonica misses the final yet again. 26th in the semi is our worst ever finish. We were 23rd last month and 25th the month before. It's anyone's guess how I managed to win Nuggets on my first try! This post has been edited by Riser: 9th September 2014, 08:32 PM |

The Rocket Summer "So Much Love" LXVIII: did not qualify 26th in the semi for a second month straight. However, our nation feels like we did manage to successfully create the illusion that we'd get our first hit with this. Thanks to Bellamia, Seyetana, Desbuanda, and Persephonia for giving our poor country more hype than it's ever had! Also thanks to Persephonia for our flagball: This post has been edited by Riser: 4th October 2014, 06:01 PM |

P-Money feat. Vince Harder "Everything" LXX: did not qualify Having been forced to change our entry at the last minute, we put our hopes on this New Zealand #1 smash to finally capture the elusive first hit for Harmonica. Oh well, better luck next year! |

Anoop Desai's "Love War (feat. ADHD)" reached the semifinal in BJSC TBO VII: The Rejects, where it finished 23rd (I think) and top 6 in nominations from its contest! Note to self: make a fancy, formatted post for this recognition.
Harmonica has compiled a rough list of its top 50 entries of 2014! It's vaguely in order but even the #1 is interchangeable. And keep in mind it's only for 7 contests (64 to 70). Enjoy! 1.
