Guetta bags a second week at the top spot whilst Phil Fuldner catapults back into the top ten after Take Me finally arrives on daytime Radio 1. Nine new entries in total, with Meduza being forcibly removed from the Top 40. I think 12 weeks is enough! Elsewhere, never thought I'd see Jake Bugg in this but here we are, with the somewhat solemn Be Someone soundtracking this bleak mid-June washout perfectly.

I quite like the new CamelPhat song but it's a big step down from 'Breathe' and even their 'I'm Not Alone' remix.
Really liking the new Katy Perry though, it's her best song in a while. Also like Feel Right Now, Bullet From A Gun and Earfquake from your other new entries.
And if you think 12 weeks is long, the longest a song has spent in my top 40 is... 50 weeks! ohmy.gif [Avicii - Lonely Together, which itself spent 13 weeks at #1]

Yeah, I've started work on my Alternative Now 103 which means I'm streaming quite a lot of things that have been around for aeons! I toyed with the idea of keeping Meduza in but if I start doing that it will end up being almost as slow as the real chart. You'll be happy that Heaven is bubbling under! I didn't think Be Someone was up to much until I heard Danny Howard play it during a very rainy bus journey with no other passengers late last Friday night. It sounded so much better in that context, almost cinematic!
