(Or at least what you assume will be unpopular opinions, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised that people actually agree!)


I'll start with... '4' is my favourite Beyoncé album 👀 (just ahead of Lemonade!). I guess not many here would put '4' as their #1. I feel like it's mostly aged very well. I actually enjoy the singles more than I did at the time of release (Love on Top/Countdown/Run the World/End of Time are essential tour inclusions!). It's home to one of my favourite Beyoncé album tracks, 'I Miss You'. 'Schoolin' Life' is one of her best tracks and deserved more than deluxe track status. Honestly... an era!

7/11 is a bop

I Am Sasha Fierce might be her worst album all tracks considered, most of I Am is shite and Sasha Fierce is a hot mess.

She should stop lying about her age.

Destinys Child in general are overrated.

Love On Top is probably my least fave of her singles, I don't even know what it is but I've just never taken to it.

The fact my top 5 Bey tracks include Listen and I Was Here might be unpopular too

Single Ladies is an absolute BOP and receives far too much hate on here - as does Run the World.

Deja Vu is one of her most underrated singles Halo is one of her most overrated

4 is my favorite Beyoncé album too! Other opinions I agree with here include 'Check On It' and 'Listen' being among her absolute best and 'Deja Vu' as one of her most underrated

My own unpopular opinions would be that 'XO' and 'Best Thing I Never Had' are her most overrated, and the Freemasons remix of 'Beautiful Liar' is worse than the original (which wasn't that good in the first place).

Single Ladies is the type of song you dance to when your absolutely hammered and the “oh oh oh” part is easy enough to sing along to Perfect Duet needed the originals instrumental I think but it’s still a better song tbh

Single Ladies is a song i find a bit overexposed due to the whole dance routine and such
