Aeroche is pleased to announce that its entry for the BJSC46 contest has become its third consecutive qualifier. Denmark's Trentemøller / Ane Trolle submitted the haunting radio edit of "Moan", which has fended off 13 other entries to become a surprise qualifier, beating sure-fire entries from Dalisska and Keypopian Republic. Aeroche will now tour the track across other participating nations by performing it live on their television networks, a strategy which worked for their previous entry - GusGus - Over. The official artwork for the track has been revealed, with a picture of Laika the Dog (famous for being the first living animal into Space) gracing it - a homage to the official music video. Listen to the track below... |

Trentemøller! <3 I've been wanting to send Even Though You're With Another Girl for ages but always thought it would be a wasted effort. Thank you for winning.

Ha I was considering sending that in "Moan"'s place! <3 I'm so thrilled about this win, especially since it's a song I've always held as one of my favourites ever and it was a MASSIVE surprise - I hope this means that anything could potentially win now! Thank you <333 |

British night-pop duo Alpines have been selected as Aeroche's next submission to the Buzzjack Song Contest, with their track "Got Me Wrong". After a record breaking three months in the contest in which they saw three consecutive wins and two months of hosting, Aeroche has decided to pass on the opportunity to host again to Ramrynia - who will take on the role of BJSC host for this edition. This is the third time that Aeroche has sent a British artist, following their first ever BJSC entrant Jessie Ware and their most recent entry and BJSC XLVIII winner Unicorn Kid. Alpines will autoqualify this contest, and are already in the favourites to win in several opening bets from various nations. This would eclipse the 12th place finish of their only previous BJSC entry "Cocoon", which achieved this feat in BJSC XXXVII. Aeroche have planned a huge promotional campaign in advance of the contest's final, to help boost chances for a(n unlikely) fourth consecutive win after pleasing predictions. This will entail Alpines visiting various participating BJSC nations, including their alliance nations N DNTN and Mdiče, as well as supporting country Elëdan. #00274E unfortunately are not taking part in this month's BJSC festivities, but still wish Aeroche the best of luck. Listen to the entry on the link below... Official Aeroche BJSC cover art will surface within the next few days. |

After a beautifully hosted contest in Ramrynia, Alpines came home with mixed feelings after representing Aeroche for BJSC XLIX. Coming in at a respectable 15th place, Aeroche (barely, but still) continued their (arguable) hit streak notching up 82 points. It did however show a drastic comedown on odds (they were placed 4th on average odd results, as well as Top 10 by every participating predicting nations) and of course was a big regression after three consecutive wins, plus is the lowest final score for any Aeroche entry to date. It however seemed to not be such a bad month for Aeroche allies, as N DNTN achieved a new personal best, storming into 4th place with glorious track "Puppets", which received Aeroche's 12 points. The other two big scorers from Aeroche (FSR Rontvia and Järkangel) finished 12th and 8th respectively - bringing the former a long-awaited hit in the contest and the latter another to add to its consistent tally of top half finishes. Aeroche, despite being disheartened, are ready to come back strong next edition, hosted by one of Aeroche's favourite nations Fljótavík. They wish to extend their congratulations to the country, and wish them well in hosting what is sure to be a fantastic contest. They also added that the Top 5 leaderboard is the best Top 5 since they first entered BJSC. |

Aeroche have chosen New York duo Beacon to represent them at the historic BJSC L contest, which is celebrating its landmark 50th contest this month in Milano, Fljótavík. Taking strong influence from R&B and rave music, their brand of haunting, progressive beats rings true of the subtle and stylish production from previous BJSC winner Trentemøller / Ane Trolle, who won the contest for Aeroche in BJSC XLVI. With everyone wanting to push the boat out in terms of creative entries, Beacon becomes Aeroche's most risky entry to date, with the nation's panel understanding that they may have their first DNQ - but sent it out of sheer principle and because there is big love for the track all over the nation. Early odds from Caerfyrddia put the track in joint 17th place, which would at least equal another consecutive qualifying entry. After the respectable and expected but underwhelming performance of Alpines in the last contest, Aeroche are going on an all-out promotional blitz to hopefully appeal to the indie and some crossover indie-pop countries to boost their chances of securing a win in what is the most important BJSC contest to date. The BJSC Aeroche cover art for the track will be unleashed this weekend. Listen to the track below... |

Aeroche are set for a return to form in this month's edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest with predictions and odds shortening in various countries for their latest entry "Feeling's Gone" by Beacon, suggesting that they might be expecting a Top 10 finish. This would serve as a respectable rebound after Alpines almost cost Aeroche their second 'flop' of their BJSC tally to date. Several countries have outlined Aeroche's track as a potential frontrunner, but with the openness of this contest, this achievement is shared with several other nations due to the unpredictability of potential winning tracks. However, Beacon state that they "are not taking it for granted", and "know what happened to Alpines last contest and Saint Lou Lou the one before. We're happy enough to be in the final as it is. Any finish would be fine." The BJSC-version CD cover was unleashed a week ago, and is shown above. The track is still in the Top 5 of the Audiobacus chart (the official chart of Aeroche). Tune into the BJSC Final Results Show this coming Sunday to find out just who comes victorious in the landmark 50th contest, and who will have the honour of hosting the first contest of the New Year.
