17.) Pia Mia f/Chris Brown & Tyga - "Do It Again"
Last Week: #23
Non-album Single
Chart Run: 40-34-32-23-17... (05 weeks)

It's a Chris Brown double feature as this next song features him AND Tyga, both of whom were responsible for "Ayo". This time they're helping out fellow artist Pia Mia, who cracked into the radio mainframes through being the iHeartRadio On The Verge artist for May. Here's their collaboration, "Do It Again".

16.) Adam Lambert - "Ghost Town"
Last Week: #19
Lead Single, The Orignal High
Chart Run: 38-33-32-27-27-29-27-19-16... (09 weeks)

Coming up is San Diego native and American Idol alum/gay icon Adam Lambert, who had been doing a lot this decade after his debut album and sophomore follow-up - from his stint on Glee to performing with Queen, he's been doing well for himself and I guess all that energy transferred into the album. Here's "Ghost Town" at #16.

15.) Sage The Gemini f/Nick Jonas - "Good Thing"
Last Week: #14
Non-album Single
Chart Run: 35-25-15-15-14-15... (06 weeks)

Another hit for Sage The Gemini after "Gas Pedal" and his feature on "GDFR" was anticipated, then he released this. With Nick Jonas on it, it was pretty obvious that this was going to be a slow-growing hit. This shared the production forumla used by songs such as "Style", "Hold On We're Going Home", and Nick's own hit "Jealous". Here's their collab, "Good Thing".

14.) A-Trak f/Andrew Wyatt - "Push"
Last Week: #10
Non-album Single
Chart Run: 50-43-32-27-12-12-10-10-10-14... (10 weeks)

A-Trak being sent to Buzzjack Song Contest really seemed to spark something after: a 15-spot jump really indicates how much a song has grown. Anyway, the song became a minor charter in Canada, adding to the list of melodic future house songs to chart there. Here's his track with Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt, "Push".

On The Verge: Alessia Cara - "Here"
Non-Album single

Coming up is Ontario-born soul artist Alessia Cara with her latest single, "Here". Here's what she had to say about the making of this song:
QUOTE
“Here” is a song for all the antisocial, awkward, and miserable party-goers of the world. This one time I went to a party and while there, I realized how much I hated it, along with every other party I had ever gone to. We wrote about it the next day.

13.) Britney Spears f/Iggy Azalea - "Pretty Girls"
Last Week: #9
Lead Single, TBA
Chart Run: 1-1-2-3-3-4-5-9-13. (09 weeks)

Britney Spears was caught being shades on Twitter by Iggy Azalea (whom the general public takes with a grain of salt), in which she mentioned her Vegas shows, implying that her career isn't dead. Is this the makings of a Twitter feud? Enough with the beef, let's enjoy this track from the duo, "Pretty Girls", down four spots this week.

3rd Single, Reflection
Chart Run: 27-20-15-12-7-7-1-1-2-6-6-5-7-8-8-9-12-13-15-12... (20 weeks)

Next up is an empowered girl band with the hotness and catchy song quality to boot: the X Factor US alums of Fifth Harmony! These ladies have made it big with this song, reaching #1 for two weeks before peaking slightly. Here's their biggest hit, "Worth It", featuring Kid Ink who received his first EVER jameela.jpg #1.

OMI really made it needed it, wow this is the one that would have probably smashed come BJSC time, but this amazing song had just mounds of support and bound to go top 3 in the U.S., Here's OMI wth his the second of two Felix Jaehn crisis that week.

10.) Conor Maynard - "Royalty"
Last Week: #8
2nd single, TBA
Chart Run: 1-2-2-4-4-5-7-9-8-10.. (10 weeks)

Kicking off the top 10 this week is the second Conor Maynard song of the countdown. Now, he has been hitting it out of the park in this chart, but he hasn't been performing too well in the UK. Which really sucks, people. Anyway, here's the big band-fusion #1 smash, "Royalty", taking a seat at #10.

9.) Skrillex & Diplo f/Justin Bieber - "Where Are Ü Now"
Last Week: #6
2nd single, Skrillex & Diplo Present: Jack Ü
Chart Run: 49-38-33-31-30-29-24-14-11-7-6-9... (12 weeks)

Up next is one of Diplo's many collaboration projects, this one being his project with Skrillex called Jack Ü. Producing a song with Justin Bieber may be the last thing on everyone's minds at the moment, but for some reason this song is saving his career with how well it's done worldwide. Here's the latest Jack Ü single, "Where Are Ü Now".

8.) Nicki Minaj - "The Night Is Still Young"
Last Week: #12
5th single, The Pinkprint
Chart Run: 44-35-25-19-14-14-12-8... (08 weeks)

Next up is the latest single from one of the biggest rappers this decade, Nicki Minaj. And it's no wonder she's one of the biggest - if she's not charting with a lead song, she's featured on someone else's record. And it seems as though she's had a pretty nice track record with it. Here's "The Night Is Still Young".

7.) New Politics - "West End Kids"
Last Week: #11
2nd single, Vikings
Chart Run: 38-34-23-16-11-7... (06 weeks)

Pretty much everyone is familiar with Buzzjack Song Contest, as this is one of the songs sent - with a lot of hype at this stage, it may become a huge hit. Their history in music goes deeper than some contest though: they've released two albums with their biggest hit scraping the Billboard Bubbling Under chart, and they're in need of some success right now. Here's a song from their upcoming third album Vikings, "West End Kids", their first top 10 here.

6.) Maroon 5 - "This Summer's Gonna Hurt"
Last Week: #5
4th single, V
Chart Run: 49-34-29-16-8-5-6... (07 weeks)

Just missing the top 5 this week is a song from Maroon 5's re-release. At this point, they're no stranger to re-releases considering the success they had with "Moves Like Jagger". This was also tailored to be a huge summer anthem with a hard-hitting bass line and lyrics. Here's "This Summer's Gonna Hurt".

5.) Taylor Swift f/Kendrick Lamar - "Bad Blood"
Last Week: #4
4th single, 1989
Chart Run: 1-1-1-2-3-4-5... (07 weeks)

These days, you can never seem to get away from news explaining how Taylor Swift can shoot up to #1 with just about anything. No kidding, she's a juggernaut in the industry, and everyone wants to be a part of her pack. One of the tag lines for this season of Teen Wolf is "Bad blood will reign", and it certainly has. Here's Taylor Swift with Kendrick Lamar with "Bad Blood".

4.) Zedd f/Jon Bellion - "Beautiful Now"
Last Week: #2
2nd single, True Colors
Chart Run: 3-2-2-1-2-2-4... (07 weeks)

This next song was the first of this artist's videos to not have special effects that could give epileptic seizures, which is interesting in a way. He's collaborated with many artists, yet has only been able to reach #1 with his leads just now. Here's production juggernaut, Zedd, with "Beautiful Now" featuring Jon Bellion.

3.) Galantis - "Runaway (U & I)"
Last Week: #1
2nd single, Pharmacy
Chart Run: 41-31-28-20-17-15-9-3-5-5-4-3-1-1-3... (15 weeks)

Galantis surprised everyone by somehow charting in Australia and then making their way into the UK. They too have someone from the band Miike Snow, the same band Andrew Wyatt from previously was from. Their mascot is a cat, and dogs... don't like cats very much. Falling from the #1 spot, it's Galantis with "Runaway (U & I)".
