It was announced today that Diana will lead the cast of the upcoming Rocky Horror Picture Show tour. S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole and Emmerdale's Ben Freeman will also appear in the show.
Furthermore, a few weeks ago it was revealed Diana has landed a lead role in Michael Kirk's theatre comedy Hatched 'N' Dispatched. She will star alongside former Coronation Street actress Wendi Peters. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/news/a...orror-tour.html Amazing news for her! |

I wouldn't say she's given up forever, assuming you are referring to her interview on Lorraine, she just said she's focusing on acting now. I think we all knew that she's favouring acting at the moment anyway so it's good she isn't keeping us hanging on for new music in the near future. I don't think she's ruled it out forever though!

Shame really about Diana. I didn't care much for her on her year of X Factor, but I warmed to her and then eventually loved her after I saw her support Olly Murs on his summer tour and when she released her second album, which I felt was the best showcase of her as an artist. Shame the rest of the public avoided it. A great lost gem of 21st century pop to rival 'Come and Get It' if ever there was one.

It sounds so good as well doesn't it! I wonder if this was a Music To Make Boys Cry reject or was recorded after that for album 3 before it came to a halt?
I remain optimistic we'll get some more music from her one day, even if she just "does a Lucie Jones" and turns up for a Eurovision single in a few years time. I'm glad she's still hot property in the musicals business though! |

I know we don't have much concrete news as of yet, but she's been in the studio quite a bit over the past few months which is something!
