I chose Whatever Makes You Happy, but it was a close run thing between that & Million Different Ways!
Can't help but feel the need to stick up for Caught In A Moment; it's utterly beautiful/sublime and I was over the moon when they chose it as a single! It's still one of my favourite singles they released, and I find it stands out in their discography for being understated. Conversation's Over is great of course, but for me it makes complete sense as a highlight album track. |

Was really REALLY hard to choose just one for this, 'Whatever Makes You Happy' and 'Nasty Ghetto' were close but went for 'Conversation's Over' in the end, beautiful song.
Although I have to say I think they got the single choices spot on for this era |

This one is HARD, none left scream single release but they are all perfect album tracks bar Maya and Nasty Ghetto.
I had to go for 'Conversations Over' I love it, I do think they had to release CIAM though it's great! |

Conversation's Over. A flawless song, should have been released over Caught In A Moment.
I remember reading in a top of the pops magazine at the time that they were surprised CIAM would be a single as there was stronger material on the album, and I agreed so strongly I can still remember that over ten years later haha. The first three singles were perfect however. |

I do agree that CIAM is great, I rate it a solid 9.5, but on an album of 10's and 11's it's the "worst" on the album for me.
As nice as CIAM is, I do think that Conversation's Over would have been a better closer. It's a little more emotional and it just gets me every single time. That having been said, b-side Colder In The Rain is something I'd have released from this era as a single. It's just stunning. |
