That's a way better choice than 'Twenty-Something', but I can't help but feel they've really botched these choices. Not that it matters if nothing stands a chance of doing anything regardless.

Yes! That's my favourite song on the album after "The Pop Kids"!
Afterwards I'd suggest "Burn", and then either "Happiness", "Inner Sanctum" or "Into Thin Air". |

It's about 9th on the album for me in terms of my favourites...I half expected Burn to be next, maybe it will be the last single from the era if there is to be another.

In terms of Sales Chart (because I don't care about streaming), The Pop Kids fell just short of the top 40, and Twentysomething just short of the top 75. Say It To Me is a great choice of single for a Radio 2 audience, Happiness more the younger crowd, and Burn for the dancefloor.
I'll be at the Royal Opera House a week on Wednesday so I'll be reviewing the gig.... |

I'm going to that too, though the following day, will be the first time I've ever seen them live so I can't wait for that! |

I'm going to that too, though the following day, will be the first time I've ever seen them live so I can't wait for that! Yay! I've seen them about 9 or 10 times now, always inventive, arty, great fun, a party, and often in great venues: outdoor Spanish courtyard gig in barcelona (the best), side of the Tower Of London (that one didn't work, too many distractions). |

Seeing them on November 12th!
Yes at Say It To Me as the third single choice. Infinitely better than Twenty-Something. Burn, Happiness, or Undertow would all make ideal 4th singles. |

Fabulous Show, Inner Sanctum, I even bought a programme and 12" single, something I haven't done this century in either case.
The Sun gives a good review with photos showcasing the fab stage design from the Olympics-designer: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/14785...al-opera-house/ I'd add some key tracks off Super were missing (Happiness and Say It To Me), along with many of the 80's classics and early 90's classics, more recent key album singles were present and correct, and many oldies were reinvented quite substantially, especially Home And Dry, a pleasant acoustic single that had a bit more depth to it in a new lush arrangement. Left To My Own Devices and others were more playful, not least the end tracks which had hordes of dancers in inflated fat suits, amusingly. Such is the depth of their back catalogue, though, and the quality of the new material, the PSB's are NEVER Being Boring (and yes that one was missing too!). I may be biased, but they've never let me down in concert or on record My main complaint? Sat at the upper circle facing the stage, the inventive light show was dazzling, and sadly quite literally spots-before-the-eyes time from strong lights attacking the retina head-on, so I had to keep turning away from the stage. Happily, they are now doing Bournemouth so I can go again and get a bit closer |

Loads of my friends went to this yesterday. Is there a full set list available to see anywhere? I tried looking for one.

The main surprise is that In The Night (Clothes Show TV theme from the 80's) hasn't been done before in concert! That was always the track I liked to play when friends said "I hate the Pet Shop Boys, everything they've done" then get them to say, "ooh I like that one, who is it?" before they backtrack about it being neil's voice they have a problem with.. |

Just gone tonight, I have no words, it was incredible. The production was spectacular and the setlist was brilliant.
Loved seeing Vocal, Se A Vide E, Left To My Own Devices in particular <3 The former hits HARD, if it had been a Calvin Harris single it would have been huge. A couple of unexpected choices too which I loved, like In The Night as mentioned above. |

I've got me ticket for Feb in Bournemouth - hoping they shuffle around the tracks a bit by then, just to add a bit of newness flavour. Just off to play me 12" Inner Sanctum now...

Why have they not considered 'Burn'?

According to their new book, Annually, they'd earmarked Burn as a single but decided against it after the Orlando nightclub shooting. They had played in Orlando the week before apparently and didn't feel that it would be appropriate to release a single with the lyrics 'burn this disco down'.
