However, I was aware that there was a possibility that this choice could be vetoed because this is a synthpop track with some indietronica elements and I don't think it met the criteria of a dance song. That said, I wish I thought about this in the previous club bizarre edition.

That song was sent by Iz to the BJSC Pride II spinoff and only came 16th there for what it's worth. Then again, as we saw with REYKO doing way better in BJSC than PFSC, the results can vary quite wildly between the contests on here I guess

Interesting contest... I wasn't expecting to find anything like Ekkoes in here so really chuffed to have discovered that. Lastlings almost snatched top spot on the last listen through today, can definitely see me returning to that one... while it's good to see something else from The Kite String Tangle after their BJSC win before. Everything else was varying shades of decent but I'm not sure I'll return to them as frequently as my top 3.

Dandy being UNKLE has to be one of the most obvious ever Club Bizarre entries (but it was a great song from them so I am here for it).
Dune was great as well, I didn't connect too much with the other hardcore type entries but that one was good. xx

I should take this point to note that some of the entries came across very differently on youtube and on their spotify versions! Supporting my theory that dance music tends to be better to purely listen to than to watch :')

I'm very surprised at the points so far, I expected this to go over everyone's heads, thanks so much I'm aware the 'vocals' were a bit contentious, but it's such a beautiful track with a great story behind it, I've been debating whether to send it to one of these contests for ages so I'm glad it's looking like a good choice initially at least!

Thanks to all of those who were big fans of the Namasenda song *.* I had a different song from her confirmed originally ('Dare PM', I changed away as that song was produced by A. G. Cook which felt a little cheap x), I think that song may have done better but also probably wouldn't have got as many high scores.
Hope I have done enough to have got top 10 here ~

Bre coming through giving me yet another top 5 *.* Wonderful (great entry from yourself as well), I'm so pleased this exceeded my expectations and then some. Thanks all for the votes, especially Iz and Dandy* for the top marks. If you liked this one, I'd highly recommend their album, Stasiland, it's a series of tracks all taking spoken word real stories from survivors from around the time of the Berlin Wall coming down from around the border and combining it with dance music. It's really eye opening and creative.
Congrats Dandy! UNKLE was my 10 pointer so I obvs approve and some great company in that top 5. Thanks for hosting J00ps! (I demand another instrumentals one of these now xx)

I found OTR bc one of his songs appeared in To All The Boys 2: P.S. I Still Love You and his stuff is pretty solid, would definitely recommend them especially this

I knew Waifu was predictable but I love that sort of hardcore, it also well represents the area where vocals in dance most matter to me, some simple lyrics leading into an instrumental chorus that reaccentuates the previous lyrics.
The soundbites of the GDR were what pushed it into my 12 realm, loved listening to it throughout and then that extra meaning confirmed it.

Congrats Dandy! The track you sent managed to find place in my playlist, that's kind of achievement cuz I usually don't bother touching any of CB tracks after the contest. I think the only one was Get It Crackin by Re-Style remixed by Sefa (can't remember which entry it was).

First Top 10 thank you to all you lovely people who voted! I had no idea they had won BJSC before oops, if I did I probably wouldn't have sent it but anything for a high position etc. Juan Carlos sending the only other song I knew in both Nuggets and Club Bizarre now I absolutely adore Shy though, it was in my EOY Top 10 back in 2016 so wouldn't have been right to give it anything other than full marks!
The UNKLE song also got high marks from me so a well deserved win for dandy* and thanks Jupiter for the great hosting!
