I’m not sure about anybody else but I wasn’t expecting the opening line/scream at 6:30am this morning but on my listen. 😂

The album is great. I hope it will do well and that one of the songs becomes a hit/goes viral on Tiktok.
It's her most criticallly acclaimed album so far as well! |

She will easily go top 10 I think and possibly top 5.

its weird i'm seeing people complain there's not enough ballads on the album and then saying her last album was boring (as it had too many ballads on it???)

Seeing mostly positives for this album, which is nice.
Am I being too optimistic hoping for it to be top 5? |

As I posted that, midweeks have it at #3 with 8/10 of the top 10 being new entries so it could definitely hold up for a top 5.
Yay |

Massive return to form for her! I love it
I'm so happy it looks like her collab with WILLOW persuaded her to come back with this sound. Welcome back Ms. Lavigne. Her best album since 'The Best Damn Thing', for sure! |

Her best album since 'The Best Damn Thing', for sure! Based on the first post in this thread, it looks like it was planned wayyyy before that collab came out! |

Shame it doesn't have a Hello, Kitty!!, but this sound is what she should have stuck with all along, just like Lily Allen has always stook with left field Britpop.

I really love 'Avalanche'. It's a bit more "depressive" in tone than everything up to that point on the album, but it makes a welcome change of pace just as everything starts to get a little samey.

The album is good but a bit too samey. I don't need a ballad but one or two mid-tempos would really have helped the overall pacing.

Having now given the album a couple of spins, I agree with the comments that it all sounds a bit samey. 'Dare To Love Me' is the closest thing to a ballad, she definitely should have included a couple more slowies. I quite like about half the songs on it (including the two singles which are great) but the other half are pretty forgettable and seemed to blend into one another. Overall I preferred her previous album which at least showed progression.

Just gave the album a spin and one thing I couldn't shake was how much the instrumental of 'F.U.' was reminding me of Paramore's 'Misery Business'! Watch out Avril
I think my favourite album tracks on first listen are 'Cannonball' (what a rush of an opener *.*) and 'Dare To Love Me'. |
