Surely their most underrated single? Discuss! Darkchild did that! |

So underrated! I've never understood the dislike (and even hatred) some fans have for this one. Maybe it's just because it's not the usual pop they wanted from them? I loved it from the first moment I heard it (its September 2000 Radio 1 premiere, which I recorded on cassette and played a LOT until the CDs finally came out ).
I think as early 00s R&B goes this is up there with the best actually, and it's by far the best song to come from the Forever album imo. Certainly one of their best videos too, love the Air/Fire/Earth/Water theme, the pyramid formation dance routine. I'm still amused by some areas of the internet saying this video includes Illuminati symbols. Also, The Return of the Spice Girls tour performances of it were incredible. *.* |

It sounds so tinny and unpolished though. I don't even hate it, I just think compared to the wholesome feel of the pop they were giving out, this just feels much weaker. So uninteresting and just "there". I appreciate they wanted to go for something new though, but for me, it didn't quite work as well as it could've done.

'Holler' was a wonderful moment. It was amazing to see them delivering a proper dance routine during all the promo.
Can't agree with it being tinny. There's lashings of bass in there. I thought it was sexy and mature. It reflected the change in their fans, who had grown up in their absence. This post has been edited by Michael Andrew: 11th November 2018, 11:01 PM |

It’s next to Goodbye the best song on Forever. I do hope they perform it on tour.

I adore Holler it's fantastic. I think my initial dislike of Forever was because Holler set the expectation way too high and it is by far the highlight of the album. Over time I've grown to like Forever as an album but I loved Holler from the get go!

Except of course for 'Goodbye', which is perfection but doesn't fit on the album at all. |

To be honest I forget Goodbye is on it, I took it off my itunes so it ends with Oxygen as it sounds so out of place. Goodbye sits on the GH instead. |
