Still a ridiculous rule that. Hopefully change with the third European competition beginning soon!

Poor results for the Scottish teams in Europe tonight - Rangers out but good to see Celtic through!

Isn't it great Arsenal are always there to make every other team's fans feel better :') such generosity!

Arsenal, they will be hoping to redeem themselves after their defeat to BATE last week.

Arsenal and Chelsea fighting for Champions league football on 2 fronts really, can do you see any of them winning it?

No action will be taken against Chelsea for alleged racist chanting by their fans in the Europa League game with MOL Vidi last December.

Arsenal starting XI for their last 16 Europa League first-leg match vs Rennes.

Cech; Mustafi, Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Xhaka, Torreira; Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi; Aubameyang.

Should be a comfortable win for them.

They lost to BATE Borisov in the last round so who knows! I expect they'll get through the tie fairly easily though, as will Chelsea. I don't see both of them making Semis however.

My punditry skills are really failing this week, aren't they? First the Sheffield Derby, Man United and now Arsenal losing.

Can you see Arsenal coming back from two goals down to beat Rennes?

Yep they'll still get thru. Their home form is saving their ass this season.

Chelsea will surely make it to the final of this and I would expect their opponents to be Napoli.

Chelsea have lodged a complaint with Uefa over racist abuse aimed at Callum Hudson-Odoi during their Europa League win at Dynamo Kiev.

All English final here too! Pretty amazing for the PL considering where it was 3/4 seasons ago.

On the flip side it's the most painful ever season to be a United fan as ALL of our rivals have had great seasons now except us oops.

Certainly is, just shows really imo that these things go round in cycles. I think our league is really strong at the moment, probably helped by the managers at the top now.

Great achivement for the Premier League.

Great achivement for the Premier League, must be painful as a Utd fan I agree. But also must be somewhat encouraging to think what the four teams have achieved. Chelsea weren't the better side tonight and Arsenal have two amazing strikers and a painfully average side.
