I agree, I didn't really think Bruno Mars would ever get a #1 on my chart but this song is just too irresistible! Madonna's music this era is great, lots of Avicii produced stuff amongst her demos which I'm sure you'd enjoy too. Haha, I've really got into I'm An Albatraoz this week, although it's so majorly tacky! Bless Sweden for churning out this. Up is a real grower, I'm not MAJOR on either Olly or Demi tbh but this song has found its way into my head quite a few times, sort of reminds me of Try by Pink melodically.

Firstly many thanks for posting and updating your #1s thread the other week, always an interesting read Also whilst I didn't post in it, I thoroughly enjoyed your 2014 chart. Great to see Sheppard doing well, I can honestly see Geronimo being a bit of a monster when it comes out here (especially considering how well it did in Europe). Just a case of waiting for Capitol or Radio 1 to give it support (surely they can tell it will be a hit??), may have to wait for it to become a hit in the US first though. Loving your chart this week too, great to see Uptown Funk at #1, for some reason I am surprised its at #1 for you but it is very catchy. Blank Space being a bit of a late bloomer for you? Really like the new Madonna stuff so far so nice to see her having two top 10s for you. In regards to Aronchupa its awful but it has a certain charm about it and I'd imagine it will catch on at some point (its already smashed in Europe & Australia). I can Omi being a European/UK smash too.

I really hope Geronimo will be huge and not just sideline like Cool Kids, fingers crossed for it! Haha, you're right, the HUGE UK hits don't always make the top of my chart. That said, I've always been a big fan of Mark Ronson (he's had five top tens for me before) and I like Bruno Mars at times, this song is just too irresistible for me to overlook. Yep indeed, Blank Space wasn't one of my favourites on the album initially but I probably prefer it to Shake It Off now, definitely a grower for me. I'm really looking forward to the new Madonna album, these two tracks are hopefully a promising taster of what's on the way! I agree with you about AronChupa, I do love it but I know it's basically a turd I agree with you about Omi.

Uptown Funk is quite the anthem, glad it's done so well! Indeed, it's yet another smash for Kath's fave from the album named after her Haha, she's an acquired taste I'm sure...I shan't be recycling her for BJSC luckily for everyone. . Maybe, who knows. Steel pans though = sold. Wish You Were Mine is definitely a grower, a lot of dance songs click with me properly on the week of release because I usually have some crap extended rip so it's the first chance to have the proper HQ radio edit for me most of the time (once I've bought them obvs).
