B-side Luv Ya finishes in last place, with album track Broken Doll being just above - it got two -1s so it got lucky to avoid last place I guess! Further up, Ready for the Good Life becomes the lowest single by a mile, seems abut right for it really, I never properly got into it. Impossible Heart appears WAY too low, a big highlight on A Perfect Contradiction for me!

Mainly a bunch of album tracks here, including a lot from A Perfect Contradiction, no *huge* losses IMO. Changing is a little bit too high, I find it quite overrated sadly as it's just the same as many other drum and bass tracks. However, it did give Paloma her first EVER #1 hit so it's good for something I guess!

Some more singles start to drop now, with A Perfect Contradiction losing its lead single Can't Rely On You (way too low ) and third single Trouble With My Baby. Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Leave While I'm Not Looking are both still to come. Fifth singles from their respective albums, both Smoke & Mirrors and Black & Blue didn't do anything at all chartwise, and miss the top 10 here, along with JUST BE. WHICH IS RIDICULOUSLY LOW. ASHAMED OF YOU ALL.

'Just Be' is an amazing song, but I guess it's a testament to how strong her discography is that we've got so much to look forward to in the top 10!

What a great top 10! I'm not sure I'd consider 'Leave When I'm Not Looking' top 10 worthy over some that have left already but it's still good.

Racing through this now to try and finish it 30 Minute Love Affair comes 9th here, a sublime track which is very underrated I think, just missed out on my 11! Leave While I'm Not Looking is just above it at #8, I've not completely warmed to this yet and it feels like a massively inferior version of Only Love Can Hurt Like This Debut hit Stone Cold Sober is at #7. Fun fact: I didn't know this was Paloma until I bought the album a couple of years ago, it's been everywhere on adverts. And finally, John Lewis advert cover Never Tear Us Apart is at #6, this was actually the first Paloma track I heard and liked, had only heard a couple before this and wasn't initially fussed!

The remaining three singles from Paloma's debut album drop out just before the top two now. Upside Down was the only single she didn't perform when I saw her live in June 2013 It seems like one of her most well-known songs despite never making the top 40! The first album's title track end up at #4, nice to see it so high as it seems very underappreciated to me! New York is comfortably top 3, another favourite of mine so great to see it high. It actually tied with #2 based on average but has less 11s than that track so places lower.

This leaves a top two of ONLY LOVE CAN HURT LIKE THIS and PICKING UP THE PIECES. Which will win?

2 9.43 Picking Up the Pieces

Not even hugely close in the end as Only Love Can Hurt Like This storms to victory! The second single from Paloma's third album A Perfect Contradiction became her biggest hit (as a lead artist) to date, peaking at #6 and speaking a good while in the top 40. Funnily enough, her second highest peaker is Picking Up the Pieces, which made #7! The first single from Fall to Grace was sadly the last time Paloma graced the Radio 1 playlist (despite being a huge success....strange logic), aside from Sigma collaboration Changing but I think we all know that wasn't for Paloma herself.

OLCHLT had 5 11s and 7 10s, and managed to win despite silly Calum giving it a 0 Calum aside, it got nothing lower than a 9.
