It could go top 20 by Friday the way it’s climbing on Spotify. Well that’s one thing you don’t expect to see: Hozier scoring a top 20 hit in 2023

'Unreal Unearth' is out on the 18th of August! The cover is slightly disturbing....

Much more instant than the lead single for me!

Lovely chorus! They're both equally instant for me. He's really serving it this era.

Oh that's more like it! This one really showcases all of his talent!
Didn't get the appeal of Eat Your Young interesting info from Genius: Inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, particularly the first part called Inferno, the track explores themes of love, commitment, and the journey through the 9 Circles of Hell. With a powerful melody, the lyrics explore themes of love, and commitment while conveying Hozier’s resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to a persona named Francesca, even in the face of hardship and loss. |

Hozier was on the first episode of the new series of 'Later with Jools Holland' last night, performing 'Eat Your Young' and 'Francesca'.

Seems like it's being pushed as an actual single with a video and radio adds going out

I never ended up hearing the second album for some reason, I quite liked the debut, but this is immediately his most consistent album, very little I wasn't enjoying and some real highlights - Damage Gets Done, All Things End, Anything But, Abstract, First Light, and of course Eat Your Young. Good stuff!

From the tracks I have heard the album is a huge improvement on his last album.

This is heading to become Hozier's first UK no.1 album! It would be a well-deserved achievement, I enjoy this record quite a bit

Yet the second album is his only #1 in the US and looks like that'll be remaining the case! (Probably because of concert bundle sales or something I guess)
