I like Niall, and his voice has really improved! It really suits the folky songs. Wish he could find a really good guitar teacher as it'll be great if he could learn to play more than 5 chords. My 2nd favourite member. Great personality!

So Niall and Mike Phillips have both been offered £50,000 for a charity boxing match to "settle their differences" following the Twitter argument. SERIOUSLY?! 
It's not as if celebrities argue almost every day on Twitter. God forbid it be a member of One Direction having an opinion on something though!

The 20-year-old 1D hunk set out to snatch a date with 21-year-old Gomez after having a sly word with Swift, 23.
‘Niall’s always fancied Selena and he’s made no secret of it,’ a source has said.
‘When he went to Taylor’s gig at the O2 he talked to her about setting them up. He’s just split from Barbara Palvin and Selena’s trying to get over Justin Bieber, so it’s perfect timing,’ the source told Heat magazine.
The pair then went to a central London branch of the Portuguese chicken restaurant where they spent ‘an hour at dinner talking about everything.’
‘It’s very early days, but they’ve been in constant contact since she went back to the States. Niall’s exactly the kind of guy she needs right now. He’s so sweet, a total gentleman and 100 per cent not a player like Justin turned out to be,’ the source continues.
A spokesperson for Horan has refused to comment on the story.
Gomez and Bieber dated on-and-off between 2010 and January this year – with their romantic fall-out rumoured to be the reason the Come And Get It babe checked herself into rehab last month.

He was momentarily a single man after splitting with the leggy Victoria’s Secret model last month but if you blinked you might have missed it.
Barbara flew into the UK this week as 1D started preparing for their Where We Are tour.
Watching Aussie boyband 5 Seconds of Summer on Tuesday night at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the lovebirds were seen hugging and holding hands, according to sources.
They then headed to Funky Buddha club in Mayfair with the 5SOS boys.
Niall and Barbara started dating last year but managed to keep their public appearances down to a minimum, being spotted at the X Factor wrap party last year for the first time.
They spent New Year’s Eve together in a village pub in Hertfordshire and all seemed well but due to work commitments they split just before Valentine’s Day.

The One Direction star is said to be fuming after he was plagued with naked fan photos and nuisance calls after a rogue friend allegedly leaked his number.
The 20-year-old was forced to change numbers when his phone went off the hook after his digits were shared among Directioners.
A source said: ‘Niall didn’t see the funny side of it. He wasn’t even remotely curious about the pictures because so many of his fans are teenage girls.
‘It was a huge pain for him. He was forced to change his mobile number immediately.’
But for those of you thinking Niall could be after the title of 1D’s moody one, currently held by Liam Payne, you are mistaken.
The insider continued: ‘It’s not that Niall doesn’t have a sense of humour but he’s sensitive too.’
Let’s hope Barbara Palvin’s not the jealous type…

The Buckingham Palace event was held to mark the contribution made by Irish people in Britain.
A Palace spokesman said: "It was a really fun evening - great company and extremely relaxed.
"Her Majesty seemed to enjoy the craic."
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh met guests from the world of sport, business, politics, the arts and community work who were deemed to have made a positive contribution to Britain.
Also among the guests were fashion designer Orla Kiely, racehorse trainer Jonjo O'Neill, former Formula One racing boss Eddie Jordan, singer Imelda May and Father Ted writers Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews.
Niall Horan described being at the palace as "mind-blowing".
"It's an absolute honour to be here with two great countries coming together - I couldn't believe it when I got the invitation.
"To have met Her Majesty again was a great experience," the singer said.
Graham Linehan had a handwritten letter from his eight-year-old daughter to hand to the Queen.
"We have never had anything other than an extraordinary welcome here," he said.
"I don't think the Irish contribution needs to be validated, as such, but if it is going to be validated then what better place to do so than Buckingham Palace."
He added: "I will certainly have something to tell my daughter."
More details will be revealed on Wednesday about next month's state visit of Irish President Michael D Higgins to Britain.
This will be the first state visit to the UK undertaken by the president of Ireland.
The Irish ambassador to Britain, Dan Mulhall, said there was "never a better time to be Irish in the UK".
"It is a wonderful occasion for the Irish community in Britain, the biggest Irish community anywhere in the world outside of Ireland," he said.
"They have made a huge contribution to Britain over the years, a huge contribution. Many of the people here tonight have been here for 40, 50 or even 60 years but they still have a proud Irish identity."
Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers said: "I think that the bilateral relationship is better than it has been at any time in the last 800 years. The president's visit is a wonderful opportunity for the Irish to celebrate the huge contribution they've made to life in Britain. This is a great curtain raiser to that."
She added: "Of course there are still many problems to be resolved in Northern Ireland, but it's wonderful to be here to celebrate the successes."

The Midnight Memories singers were perplexed by French photographer Girolle’s methods and it was all a bit much for Nialler, who crumbled at the final hurdle.
Even with a bit of help from fragrance visualisation expert Rochelle the boys had difficulty interpreting the specific moment behind their fragrance That Moment.
But it was Liam who came out on top after nailing his facial expressions while Zayn struggled to visualise himself as a seed and Louis failed to muster a ‘sweet warm face’.

We (and everybody else, we imagine) had no idea that there were pregnancy rumours to begin with, but it looks like the Victoria's Secret model has been inundated with questions about her "baby", leading her to put an end to the messages once and for all.
Barbara wrote earlier this week: "Oh god! i am not pregnant. How many times do i have to say it?!! Gggrrrr." (sic)
So we won't be having our first One Direction baby just yet then? Damn.
Niall and Barbara first fuelled relationship rumours when they were spotted hanging out on New Year's Eve and although the model recently insisted that they are "just friends", they were then spotted hanging out at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London at the start of March.
Speaking about her relationship with Niall recently, Barbara recently insisted there was nothing romantic going on.
Talking to OK! Online at the Elle Style Awards 2014, the 20-year-old said: "Niall is a nice guy, we just hang out," she said, adding: "We're mates."
The brunette then went on to say: "I'll always hang out with boys. I'm a tomboy, I played football when I was younger."

1D play the first of their tour dates on April 25th in Colombia and it seems like despite not leaving himself too much time to get fit ahead of the first gig, Niall is keen to get himself back to his toned self following his knee surgery earlier this year, that left him unable to walk for a while without crutches.
As per usual, the Irish heartthrob has been busy filling his millions of followers in on Twitter about what he has been upto in terms of preparation for the upcoming dates and he posted on the social networking site last week: "Just been for a cycle! Gotta get fit! No other option, that stage is huuuuuugggeeeeee"
He then answered a few fan's fitness questions, with him posting: “@laureniaIl: @NiallOfficial do lots of cardio to get your stamina up!!”exactly," before then going on to reassure people that he was well on the way to recovery in terms of his recent knee op: “@drugofstyles_: @NiallOfficial how's your knee babe?”sore last few days ! just been takin it easy on it really!" (sic)
Maybe the kickabout on Sunday has resulted in your knee being a little more sore than usual, Niall?
The blonde haired stud is known to be a huge football fan and he headed down to play a little on the pitch with West Ham United's Kevin Nolan and Mark Noble after watching the match between West Ham United vs. Liverpool in The Premier League.
Make sure you rest of, Mr.Horan! There are lots of Directioners that can't wait to see you running up and down that stage on tour.

The Lego House singer dated Ellie last summer, with the blonde babe strongly rumoured to have kissed the 1D heartthrob at V Festival - despite Ed and Goulding later spotted holidng hands at the 2013 MTV VMAs the following week.
On LP tune Don't, Sheeran claims his then-girlfriend cheated on him with a pal in the same hotel they were all staying at, while he was downstairs.
Lyrics to the song include: “I never saw him as a threat, ’til you disappeared with him to have sex,” and “If I show courtesy and respect to someone, I expect to receive it.
“When we’re in the same hotel, and I’m downstairs at my party and you’re upstairs doing that, that’s disrespectful.”
Despite Ed not naming Goulding or Horan on the song, he is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "The last album was more young and dewy-eyed and innocent.
“I’ve still got very nice songs on this record but some of them are bitey. The story in Don’t is 100% true. I could have gotten nastier – there was more s*** that I didn’t put in."
He continued: "I was seeing someone for a bit, and then they ended up physically involved with one of my friends in the same hotel that we were staying in, while I was downstairs. And I feel like: ‘Treat people how you want to be treated’.”

Yup - Nialler and his floppy fringe hit the rather swanky Fifteen York Hill bar in Loughton with our Kevin (Nolan, not the pigeon) to discuss things along the lines of *cockney accent* 'footbawww,' 'salty potatoes' and - given that this is Niall Horan - all variations of potato from mash to chips.
Taking the big 'floppy vs. erect' debate to the next level, Nialler went for a totes TOWIE combover, putting his ridiculously masculine arm around ridiculously tanned club promoter-type fella James in a ridiculously masculine manner.
Doing what can only be described as 'taking to Twitter', a rather excitable James tweeted: "Mad feeling having @NiallOfficial from 1Direction in last Sunday. Pleasure to meet you." Not jelly. At all.

It's probably not true. They probs went upstairs to the hotel room for a songwriting sesh and Ed's fabricated it and made out they're cheating.

In Laura Whitmore's interview with the Irish Independent, she talked about how she's so over the dating rumors and just started ignoring them after she realized nothing she said would make them stop.
"To be honest, those rumors have been going on for two years now and I'm so sick of them. It makes it harder if you are actually going out with someone else and to be honest, I just got bored of it after a while," Laura said. "I was like, 'Whatever. People can believe what they want to believe.' No matter how many times I say it, they say the opposite. I ignore it."
Since Laura claims her and Niall have always been super good friends and nothing more than that, she's just hoping they'll go away for good.

1D-obsessed Andrea travelled all the way from Spain to Nialler’s hometown of Mullingar with her mum, to try and bump into her ultimate idol, but was heartbroken to find out that Niall’s actually in London at the moment. Not to worry love, BOBBY TO THE RESCUE.
Proving that Niall’s definitely a chip off the ol’ bloke when it comes to being well lovely, Bobby invited Andrea and her mum into the Horan home to hang out and meet the family, and she ended up spending three hours with Niall’s brother Greg, his wife Denise and the little dude that is Theo, Niall’s baby nephew.
Andrea took to Twitter to share the extremely great news that she’d sat on the same sofa that Niall’s bum has actually touched, and wrote: “I think im in dream, right?” N’AWH.
As well as probably breathing in a few of Niall’s skin cells and maybe even see his undies in the washing machine (THE DREAM), Andrea was allowed to get her hands on his two actual, proper Brit Awards. AGH.
Not to mention being able to touch the strings of his actual, proper guitar where Nialler has practiced his fingering skills many a time (ooh-err). LOOK.
She even had a bit of a cuddle with Niall's actual, proper nephew Theo, which is basically the same as having a cuddle with El Horanzo himself, seeing as Theo is literally his mini-me. TOO CUTE.
But just incase Andrea hadn’t cried enough hysterical tears during the best day EVER, she left the Horan home with a very special souvenir - Niall’s very own snapback which has sat many a time on that beautiful head of his.
Don’t worry, she didn’t nick it. It was just a rather lovely gift from Bobz. AMAZING.

But now that Nialler has showcased his new 'floppy fringe' hairstyle, we are well and truly DONE with him and his luscious blonde locks. Well, if 'done' means we can still look at fit pictures of him wearing suits and being perfect.
Yep, Niall and his new 'do had a night out at Royal Albert Hall last night to help celebrate Ceiliuradh, a gala celebrating Irish culture and music - and clearly it was a pretty big deal, because the bloody Queen of England was there, too.
But while we're sure this whole event was well exciting and stuff - Niall was sat in the royal box, appaz - we can't really concentrate on anything other than the fact that Nialler in a suit is like Christmas and our birthday rolled into one beautiful outfit.
Naturally, Niall cosied up to tons of lucky peeps throughout the night, and there's a *lot* of smizing to deal with. THIS NEW HAIR HAS TURNED HIM INTO A FREAKING MODEL.

The singer's side will be taking on former Derby County captain Robbie Savage's team in the charity match at the home of Leicester City Football Club, on Monday, May 26, at 3pm.
All proceeds from this classic football match will go to Mullingar based charity, Irish Autism Action (IAA) and UK Heart and Minds Challenge.
Confirmed and joining Niall on his team so far are: bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, Olly Murs, Robbie Fowler, Rod Stewart, Jason McAteer and ambassador for IAA Keith Duffy, with the full team line ups being announced by the end of this month.

Niall Horan, 20, enjoyed his trip to Brazil so much, he found himself a sexy new souvenir in singer Anitta.
Has Niall been hooking up with this sexy Brazilian singer, Anitta?
Reports claim that the two met during an after party at Hotel Fasano, where Niall was staying with the rest of 1D, which lasted until 6am on May 8.
Of course, the claims started after Anitta posted a series of Instagram photos and tweets with Niall and his 1D buddy, Harry Styles.
“[Niall]u r the funniest guy in the world,” Anitta captioned a cute black and white video of the two sharing a laugh.
The next night, Anitta was spotted watching the One Direction concert from a special VIP section on the side of the stage.
During that same hotel party, Harry allegedly tried to hook up with one of Anitta’s close friends.
I guess Niall and Harry has similar taste!
Unfortunately, Anitta’s friend reportedly turned Harry down (yes, really) because she recently reunited with her longtime boyfriend.
That sucks for Harry, but Niall seems to be having a lot of fun with his new hook up.

Very Orange in the second picture. First picture you can still see a lot of make up but he looks well. The boys will probably find the need for that extra little bit of make up for a while, its only recently they are able to officially drink and with most of them smokers their skin will change as the body adjusts, after a year or so that will settle again.

He was later tweeted by Nick Webster who looks after the giant Derby County Rams flag that is unfurled at matches that it was time he came to Derby, where Niall is originally from.
'About time you did a concert on your home turf lad. Pride Park!' Nick tweeted, to which Niall replied, 'I would love to! Dream!!'

Nialler and Mursy spent the morning golfing together, and obviously because there’s a One Direction member involved in this lovely little story, the pair of ‘em ended up trending worldwide on Twitter thanks to a cheeky little hashtag about balls, created by el Horan himself.

Being a complete expert at the art of the selfie (please teach Harry Styles one of these days, Niall), Horanzo shared a snap on Instagram of his day with Olly, and it was so ridiculously gorgeous that we nearly spat our biscuit out.
Cheeky chappy that he is, Niall captioned the pic: "Had a right laugh playing golf today with @OllyOfficial #ollyisstilltryingtofindhisballs”.
OI HORAN, that is a top class ball-related joke, fancy a Saturday job at Sugarscape?
Making the most of their day off together, #Nolly then headed to grab a bite to eat together, where we like to think they serenaded each other over a plate of chips, before being spotted by a couple of lucky fans who couldn’t resist asking for a photo.
We should probably all just have a moment of silence for the sight of Niall Horan all in black and wearing sunglasses. Today is GREAT.
Oh, and Niall also shared a vid of their golfing game on Instagram, which proves that Olly Murs is infact quite crap at it. Stick to swingin’ your hips in our direction instead of the clubs please Ollz, before someone gets hurt.

well nobody can really defend that last part because that's just wrong, but I can imagine there'd be a fair few family members who'd want to distance themselves from 1D's fame because it obviously would be very overwhelming and stressing if the fans are all over your home, etc.

There's a difference between distancing yourself from it and not being supportive in the slightest though I guess, it doesn't seem particularly nice in the slightest that his brother's like this. Two sides to every story though I imagine.

Nialler is the first guest on the second series of George Ezra's podcast 'George Ezra & Friends'. If you've never heard it before, it's a brilliant series where George chats for half an hour - 40 minutes to loads of different artists. Craig David, Ed Sheeran, Sir Elton John and Lily Allen were all on the last series.
George spoke a little about it in his teaser for the new series the other day, he said they recorded the episode over at Niall's house. It's out next Monday, 19th November in all the usual places you can get podcasts. Can't wait to hear it!

Episode's live now. It's about an hour long, but it's interesting to hear Niall's perspective on how he felt the 'Flicker' era went, and he's also mentioned that work on the second album has already started and he's in meetings to discuss collaborations with new writers/artists as well as some from the first record. Well worth a listen!
PS George is a big fan of 'Slow Hands'!

Just rumours at this point of course but what do we think? I think if Niall's got the right song he stands a good chance. It wouldn't surprise me given the live album and show he did for RTÉ last year with their orchestra.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I imagine he'd do similarly to Ryan last year with a similar track. However, if he could pull out a 'Slow Hands' 2.0, surely a winning contender?
Plus, I'd love this to be true just coz the hype surrounding his name doing it, would hopefully get some bigger names to do it for us next year etc..

Really? Wow I'm very surprised if so. He's done relatively ok with his album, had a few hits in various countries, album sold ok in the UK going gold and really well it seems in Ireland with 2x platinum. He also went to #1 in the USA, Canada and Ireland... I wouldn't have thought he needed to do this just yet?

It's not as if his last album bombed and I'm sure he would still have success with a follow up album and still manage to generate radio support. I think if Niall done Eurovision he would be guaranteed a top three especially in the public votes where 1D fans will vote like crazy.
Una needs It more tho.

I would think the same. Flicker has done very well and exceeded expectations.
Maybe if his second album doesn't do well he would be better doing it then.
That said, if he entered and won it he could gain from it.

Not in the UK we don't... Otherwise U2 would represent Ireland and someone like Take That, Little Mix or Rita Ora would be representing the UK... We send new artists and X Factor losers. Our highest profile has been Blue and even they had been away for a few years.

I wouldn't say that's necessarily true - I mean, Sweden would never be able to send Robyn or Zara to Eurovision at the moment, since both have careers outside of it. At this point some people make their careers via Eurovision (ABBA) and some have their careers firmly IN Eurovision (Carola) and then you have the crowd who desperately needs Eurovision because of career failure (insert a lot of crap UK sends here). At this moment, Niall doesn't fit in any of those three categories.
