It didn't do much for me on first listen but I've really got into 'Easy' after hearing it a couple more times, think it's probably now my 2nd favourite song from them overall ('There's A Honey' is untouched though <3).
Have been largely lukewarm on their other new singles unforch (although maybe they could also be growers). |

The first one I didn't really click with on first listen! Kinda wish they didn't release 5 songs beforehand as well, but alas.
My ranking of them would be: 1. You Don't Own Me 2. Change - 3. She's My Religion 4. Easy 5. Fall To Pieces |

'Fall To Pieces' is great, they've really stepped up with the songwriting this era! I only really liked 'There's A Honey' from the first album but I'm on board with every track I've heard this era
 I really hope they're looking at a number one album!

Yeah I wasn't on board with their first era but this is a great album! It's very Avril circa 2004 which is no bad thing

I really like this album on first listen! I have the seen criticism that it's not doing anything new for the early 2000s sound - but I don't think that's a bad thing. (though I do think beabadoobee did it better in terms of reinventing the sound on her debut album).
And I'm glad they didn't continue with the sound of their first, there are a lot of great tunes on it - but there's so many more doing that sound now than there were at the time. |
